Working TWRP recovery for KitKat - Nexus 4 General

I know many are having trouble flashing kitkat using twrp, so many have switched over to cwm recovery. So, if youy want to keep using twrp recovery(like i do), there is a working version that has no issues with flashing kitkat, the modified multirom version of twrp can flash kitkat. here it is, enjoy http://d-h.st/ueH

Thanks Simms can't stand using cwm lol

Does it look any different as it actually fills up the screen on the right side?

Google factory images, they're as original as one can get. There should be a mirror of these images in GENERAL.

You may be able to get away with dirty flashing or using the MODS pack.
Or the MoDaCo fix. but I, myself, would reflash.

You can try flashing the fix that's part of the Mod pack over in the developer's forum. I believe the fix works by disabling security by modifying services.jar. But yes, this issue was fixed by Viperboy in a later release.

Recovery update question

Hello,
I have had my Verizon G2 rooted for awhile now but no recovery. Now that it seems that they have stable asop roms, I might load one of those up. I added TWRP with autorec, but how do I upgrade to the lastest version of TWRP? I tried flashing in TWRP, but it failed. what have others been doing to keep updated with the latest recover?
Thanks,
Keith
I wouldn't bother. AutoRec installs 2.7.0.0 which is good enough for all ROMs out atm. Seems to be a bug in 2.7.1.0 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2449679

[Q] FXP CM11 vs Official CM11

Hey guys, I'm looking forward to install Official CyanogenMod 11 but I've seen here in XDA a ROM called FreeXperia Project, that is a Unofficial build of CM11.
I would like to know what's the differences between these two.
Thanks! :silly:
Most people say they are both nearly the same, but from my experience the official runs more stable.
So I guess i'll install the official one, thanks man!
