Streaming episodes - Google Chromecast

Is their a way to force the Netflix app to continue to the next episode in a series rather then to stop and wait for another demand.

Not at the moment. Chromecast is stupid device, that capability should be in the application. Netflix application doesn't have queuing like YouTube does.

It does seem like a common sense thing, even when I streamed with the ps3 Netflix would continue on until the end of series or the are you still watching notification.

I don't think Netflix wants it.

Magic piano app for android?

Hey guys.
While I'm happy with the xoom and was happy with my og evo and expect to be happy with my evo 3d now, my wife wants an iphone 4 and we've been looking at a bunch of youtube videos. One of them caught my attention= Magic Piano by smule. I would absolutely love to have this app, but like with so much excellent hardware, its iOS only - is there anything similar for our tablets? Thanks.

Could Musical Pro be the app for you?
I've had musical pro for over half a year. First on my evo now here. Nowhere near to what magic piano does!

You can get it now, just look for the Magic Piano Preview on Google Play.
i no longer have the Xoom...but I searched for it on my Evo 3D and nothing came up...only a few crappy apps. nothing under that name.
camason24 can you upload the apk please? Turns out I can't get it in the US. Found it by searching the play store through google but it told me it couldnt be installed in my device's country :-(

Stream content to your internet enabled TV, media device (Google/Apple TV) or console

If you have an internet enabled TV or other device, try this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bianor.amspremium
Don't think it works with Play Movies or Music, should with everything else though (side loaded content).
Apologies if it has been posted before.

Yeah, there's a way, it's a Nexus Q. And it costs more than your tablet. -Ara

LOL. It seems like google is trying to go apple on us. There has to be a workaround. If not there will be. hopefully.

I hope this will be the case but if not, I think Android Transporter and a Raspberry Pi will eventually provide the same functionality (after some development).

Hmmmm... I ill try some of these out. Thanks
Has anyone accessed their movies through YouTube apps for their TV? The Google movies pop on there, or at least transformers did.

I see it more as a quick view thing or presentation controller. Media share+this would be sick.
Id be more for an android based watch for quick view though

Thats pretty cool looking.
Will that stream to both devices at the same time (to play music throughout the house for example)?

Anyone got the new update yet (13300)?

Just wondered if anyone had the new update yet, and if there were any user facing changes / improvements that we could see?
I got it on one of my chromecast.

I've just actually got it too, the only thing I have noticed is that there is nothing under "Locale" in the app anymore?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4
I'm noticing the 'home' screen has faster changing backgrounds and more regular moving of on screen elements to prevent screen burn, which I like as am using on a plasma tv. Background changes every ~13 secs and the chromecast name 'section' moves a bit every 4 seconds. More than before. Now back to rewatching 24 season 1...

Just rented movie played fine on 13300. Thought I read somewhere chromecast did 5.1 is this only on Netflix. All I could get was stereo on the movie I rented from Google play. It was HD movie. Picture was good though.

I got it. Now newly updated with brand new uselessness.
Got the feeling casting from chrome has been improved.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
Yeah it much smoother and audio quality is much better. But still same limitations :banghead:
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Ever since the update, I've lost the ability to cast from my phone and do anything else. When I go back to Netflix to control what's already being casted, it says it can't cast to the device.
After trying everything, I've found that power cycling the Chromecast is the reliable fix.
Maybe the next update will be better for me.
