Works fine if you install a cm or aokp rom first. I missed blinkfeed too much though, had to switch back to sense 5.5.
well it seems to work fine if you do the following:
Long press the home screen, select Settings. Select Voice. Select Language to change the default. Change to another language, I choose English – UK. Hit Home. Do a Google Search. Repeat the first three steps. Change back to English – US.
works now !!!!

if you hold down the home button you can get the settings menu, from there the only way I see is by adding widgets to more than one screen therefore creating more home screens at the same time. after that just hold the screens to rearrange !!!!

Thanks for your reply. But I know how to add more screens.. I just need to know how to set a default homescreen, for example I want screen 2 to be my home screen instead of screen 1.

Yes, I am also interested in this. I liked how jelly bean had my middle screen default. Therefore, I only had to swipe a max of twice in either direction. Now I have to swipe 4 times to get to the far right screen.
I was unable to use any of these .apks due to the 'unable to parse package' error. I fixed permissions in Root Explorer and still no go. Anybody else have this happen?
Dang, im still getting a force close even after changing the language to uk english and back.

I have to occasionally do it. I'm not sure if that's normal or not, but it works most of the time. Weird issue.

Does anyone know how to launch the Home Long Press via a shortcut?
Such as the direct "Activity" or "Intent"?
Or even a "Launcher Pro Shortcut"?

The latest ADW launcher lets you crate a 'custom shortcut'. Not only to customize the icon, but it lets you pick from all callable activities it sees. Even specific activities inside an apk. Try looking through those to see if the recent activities activity is there.

What about for LauncherPro?
You can try Visual Task Switcher from the market. There is a free ad supported and paid ad-free version. You can set that app on your homescreen and when you click it it comes up on your screen with your opened apps... and if you have more than 9 opened you can scroll to the side to see more. It's not perfect, but I think if the dev keeps working on it, it's a great option.

Way ahead of you Tried it, but didn't like it. (link)
EDIT: This has been resolved, at the expense of my own ignorance and embarrassment! Thanks for the help, folks.
For whatever reason, all of a sudden, I can't seem to long press on any icons or on the wall itself on my ADW Launcher home screens. So I can't move or delete icons or widgets nor add any new widgets and etc. from that "add" menu. However, I can long press in the app drawer and in folders, and basically anywhere in the phone except for the home screen.
I've tried clearing cache, reverting back to stock launcher (where I can long press fine anywhere), resetting ADW, and rebooting my phone, etc. Nothing seems to fix it. Holding down on an icon will just result in the orange highlight staying on indefinitely.
Clearly it's an issue with ADW, but has anyone experienced this?
did you unlock adw in the menu? you may have locked the desktop.

Download "Home Switcher" from the Market (free). Open it, then hit "Clear Default" on the bottom. It'll bring you to your current launcher's system setting menu, then just hit "Clear defaults" near the bottom. Next time you hit your Home key, it'll ask what launcher you want; pick and choose and choose to make it default or not.
Hope that helps.

All of a sudden, (perhaps due to an update of softkeys?), when I reboot, I get the swipe screen OK, then swipe in and am sitting at a black screen with SoftKeys running, and the words "Recent Tasks" on the screen - with nothing actually showing. The only way around this is to go into the Nook "Extras" apps drawer and select Zeam, my launcher of choice. Up until yesterday, I would have to just hit the Nook hard button after a reboot/swipe to get into Zeam.
How can I tell the Nook to go straight into Zeam on a reboot, and not SoftKeys? I have a single press of the Nook hard key set to go to SoftKeys, so I can get to a Back button when I need it, or use it as a Task Switcher.
Thanks for any help!! I think I've tried every setting here.
It was a bug in version 3. Get the latest from the market.

I have the latest: 3.06. We're talking about SoftKeys, right?
Thats strange, I was talking about SoftKeys. The developer mention that it was a bug in a previous version but 3.06 should work just fine for you. Try uninstalling it and putting it back on. Make sure to set your default lancher in the SoftKeys settings, it is under virtual home button, normal press.

No good. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Same issue. Im giving this to my 75 yr old Mom, so i really hope to fix this before i do. Thanks
I assume you don't have Softkeys calling itself as the launcher in its prefs, right?
I haven't noticed this myself, but then again, mine hasn't rebooted in 4 days.

Not sure what you mean here. In SoftKeys prefs... I see a Tools menu which pops up Settings... is that what you mean? There's nowhere in there to specify SoftKeys as the default Launcher. I do, however, have SoftKeys as the Default Launcher in NookColor Tools... When I change it to Zeam or Home, then SoftKeys doesn't work at all, like when I press the Nook button.

OK, I fixed it, sort of. Got it back to what it was doing before - which is still a bug, but when you hit the Recent Activity on a black screen thing, you just hit the Nook Home button and it will get you into Zeam. Still a bug, but the workaround is less painful for Mom.
Please help me, my son accidentally changed the default homescreen to a rotating 3D homescreen how can I set it back to the default home screen?
Please show me the steps on how to do this. Thanks guys.

you can press on the homescreen and a popup menu will appear, from there
choose wallpapers then choose wallpaper gallery and change your wallpaper

hope this help in anyway..
Assuming you're talking about an alternative launcher, and you want to go back to the original Samsung one, you would do it as follows. Tap Settings on the home screen, Applications, and Manage applications. Now mine is ADW Launcher, so I'd tap that, but if yours is a different one, tap that. If you don't know which one it is, just look through the list for a likely candidate. If it isn't on the Thir-party tab, you could try All. Anyway, once you've found the launcher, tap it, and on the next screen tap Clear defaults. Close all screens. Now back on the home screen, tap the Home button. It should open a window where you can select Use by default for this action. Tap that, and then Samsung Home. From now on the original Samsung launcher will be used.
Thanks guys for the tips...it's working now
Hi all. I'm using ARHD 9.1 and I think it's a really great rom. I was wondering if anyone here knows a tweak to enable homescreen swap in the hs settings. Maybe it's already been done with xf or it will be soon, but for now, I can't access the modules repository. thk.
On the HTC One a feature allows changing home screen
1) go to settings
2) select personalize
3) select customize home screen
4) long press the screen you want as home , then drag up to set as home
Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply. Yes, that I know. I mean (sorry, english not my first language) is changing the order of the 5 different homescreens, like you swap icons or widget in one homescreen. I know third party launcher (like GO launcher EX) have this feature, but I'd like to have it in ARHD SENSE and being able to rearrange my desktop from time to time. Don't you?
