[Q] google now???

Has anyone running the t-mobile rom on the i717 or the t879 had any success installing the JB google now on top of the t-mo rom?
I had it running on my i717 with flapps rom. With all my playing with modems and the tmo rom, I tried to flash it and get the JB google now function- the one that talks to you like siri does on the iphone. I was like " I thought this thing talked to you!"
So I went back to flapps ics, reflashed the google now and it's now talking.
So why won't it work on the tmobile rom?

i used "mickey 6 offline" flashed in cwm working great

thanks for the response.
That's the file I have working fine on att ics roms. It would flash on the tmobile rom, but not work. It was the same search function as the tmobile rom.
Oh well. I flashed back to att rom and the blaze radio for now and it was working fine.
I'm on a JB rom now so no need to flash the hack.

Have you tried the Black Star ROM? You can install Google Now from the Aroma Installer,works like a charm.

Strange..I'm using it on Tmobile stock ROM I also have the Att note its working just fine.

Huh....Wonder why ? Couldn't get mine to talk to me for nothing!!!! I flashed back to a custom rom when I looked into the tethering function being monitored and interrupted by t-mo. Something about being able to tell by the user agent..... Didn't want them to take $$ from my acct. I'm paranoid from past experiences with att. Love the custom rom better than stock tmo anyway, so I'm good. It's JB!!!:laugh:

it would be great if we would be able to boot into both ICS and GB.
ICS for looks and GB for performance.
so if you have any idea about how to do this , than please reply to this thread....

Sandronis was making the dual boot roms and only problem is when you set up dual boot you cant boot in recovery,also sadronis made a guide with pic's on how to make dual boot roms I tried all dual boot roms and they didnt work i was getting boot loop on every rom...

Flashing problem

Hi fellows recenty i tried to root my Note n7000 as i did successed with others flashed i tried on my Note... but appreantly as i want to flash any other rom with philz touch i cannot get further than to the Status 7 error i dont know why my android version is XXLT5 or does that means i cannot have others roms on my note than XXLT5 can someone explain me please? Thank you.

Both of them are amazing works, but could you help me deciding which one should I flash? I don't think that they'll impact great differences afterwards, still just a review from you 'll be helpful.

Kernel with Recovery for new 4.4.x ROMs can also include TWRP. Depends what you need.

[Q] Safestrap on AT&T GS5 Running lollipop 5.0

Is it possible to install safestrap on a GS5 G900A running Android L 5.0? or i have to revert back to stock rom in order to do this?

It will install you just need to odin a KitKat kernel every time you want to use it.

Been awhile since I messed with my s5 but if you search the att s5 forum for kit kat kernel should be able to find it . If that doesn't work try google . I switched mine back to stock marshmallow from x rom ( x rom turned into a better updated rom just can't remember the name) and that was a huge mistake I can barely use the phone now . When I find the name of the rom I'll update this post because it was an awesome rom and made the s5 usable. Aptos 2.4 is the rom you can use flash fire after you get it installed .

Hi everyone umm this is my new and first thread . I just wanted to tell those guys who have been putting in so much of hard work for us . For such awsome roms thankyou very much ol the nougat based roms are cool . It was just a thought that in all nougat roms cpu is overclocked i don'tknow y because when i used miui 7 kitkat cpu was from 200mhz-1.21mhz in miui kitkat based roms i never faced heating or battery drain issues . I think because of overclocking cpu tht might be the problem just keeping cpu at its normal processing . It would be honour if developerslooks towards that and i just wanted to request just stretch​ the screen on time between 5-6 hours thats it like normal use of whatsapp and some browsing then everyone will use these roms only. Thankyou again for all the awsome roms guys. Your custom roms are by far the best miui cant match these roms?❤. RR❤Aex?and many more

Same if that is resolved then battery would also be increased and no heating would be there. I hope developers might look.into it✌

Miui 8 ?

In miui 8 5-6 hours in custom roms 4-5 hours

Ya bro you right i am getting 4.30 sot on custom n all roms.i thing miui 8 is only suitable roms for daily driver

Yup . But miui 7 kitkat is also best but it doesn't have much customised ui like miui 8 .
You can use mokee release android 6 or htc remix(gives 6hrs of SOT)

Htc remix has bugs like theme store sign in issues

No its awesome ?i had swtiched to kitkat for just old experience but go bored of android 6 because of pixel launcher in custom roms???thats y . Htc rom is awsome?just flash the rom then update clear cache & dalvik then flash gapps pic . Done reboot n enjoy
