at bottom of the list select Misc Nandroid Settings

(personal choice) select Custom Backup & Restore
TWRP Backup and Restore
Backup in TWRP Format
select all possible options (Backup /Data/Media is not selectable)
Now select >>Start Custom Backup Job >> (Always TEST your backup be restoring right away... and verifying if it restored properly) best to find out now that it's good than later that's bad
go into recovery
select backup and restore

How to install
1. DL ROM
2. Move to external SD card (as well as ALL pics, anything important)
3. Reboot into philz recovery
4. Go into mounts & storage ---> format: cache, data, system & internal (sd card)... do this 2-3 times
5. Go to "install zip"
6. Wipe cache
7. Now "factory wipe to install new ROM" (let it run...)
8. DO NOT FLASH ROM YET!!!
9. Reboot recovery
10. Now flash ROM and enjoy![/COLOR][/B][/I][/U]

No, I don't think so. This is just a Stock Deodexed ROM. But it's definitely best of your on the latest firmware. I believe UF has a working flashable for that too. Ughh.. One more day to wait..... Im losing my mind here lol

Ohh I OTAed and rooted since the beginning. I wanted to get ahead, a Monday get some work done, while the was all getting worked out, but till now there would have been no way for me to test things. I don't got the skills like these guys lol

Ok guys this rom is something that was in the plan for a long time and its finally done.
This rom is based off of HTC Runnymede 1.05.401.4 with Sense 3.5 and GB 2.3.5. This is the initial release and there will be future updates as needed.
Right now we haven't tested on all the devices, but we confirmed Vivo W, Inspire, and Incredible S are working.
A really big thanks goes out to Cappychimp and RC-Team for a lot of the added tweaks and multidevice zip, and to romanbb for the original tweaks.
This ROM supports Desire HD (also Telus), Desire S, Desire Z, Inc 2, Inc S, Inspire 4G and myTouch 4G (again, thanks to rc team)

What is the patch for? do I need it for the Rom u sent me on PM?
So far so good, just one annoying issue for facebook users: Authorize HTC Sense (for facebook) seems to be borked. Once you login to your facebook account, it will go into a loop asking you to authorize htc sense in facebook. If you press okay, it seems to start loading the authorize screen but immediately brings back up the prompt "Authorize HTC sense". If you keep hitting Okay nothing happens. If you hit cancel it exits without facebook sync and you have an authorize notification icon in the status bar for all eternity.
EDIT: To prevent this from constantly popping up and bugging you, just remove HTC Facebook Sync using the built in debloater

not at all picking from your work i promise that, but you said on the bottom of your OP "None of the components included in this rom are to be used in any other rom without permission from myself and aamikam... the kernel included in this rom has not been released to the public and for now is only used in this rom until he tells me otherwise"
so thats why i ask, not because i want to steal anything

AllianceROM I9300 ICS Final HowTo
a) If you are coming from ICS Alliance-ROM;
1- Download the ROM, put it into your internal sdcard and download our Customizer (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ficeto.alliancemanager)
2- In ROM Customizer, find ROM Settings > ROM Config Settings > Change the settings as you like (I advise ticking wipe)
3- In the app, choose Flash/Install File from SDCARD, find the zip and let the app do the thing for you.
Alternatively, you can just go to CWM Recovery and flash from there.
b) If you are coming from Samsung ICS ROMs other than Alliance-ROM;
1- Download the ROM, put it into your internal sdcard and download our Customizer (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ficeto.alliancemanager) and get CustomSettings.apk HERE. Extract the zip to get CustomSettings.apk. Put it to /system/app either by using your favourite root explorer app or using ROM Customizer (Install as a system apk).
2- In ROM Customizer, find ROM Settings > ROM Config Settings > Change the settings [TICK WIPE]
3- Choose Flash/Install File from SDCARD, find the zip and let the app do the thing for you.
Alternatively, you can go to recovery and flash from there too. But you have to wipe BEFORE flashing the ROM.
c) Coming from a JellyBean or any AOSP ROM
Flash This kernel and recovery first HERE
via odin or your own way of flashing tar ffiles
Then simply reboot recovery.
-factory reset
-flash file from sd
-Enjoy !
***In case your apps tell you that you don't have su privilages, just make sure you have superuser app and run the superuser app for once.

Not sure what you mean there mate ... Camera is ok highest resolution has been fixed in the kernel so all resolutions work perfect

first place the AllianceROM I9300 ICS v1 zip on your internal storage.
Unpack Odin to your pc and double click to open the programm.
Boot your device in download mode via the three button combo (volume down + power + home button untill I9300 splash and let go ).
Be sure you have the samsung usb drivers installed .
If you have KIES on your pc you allready have the drivers installed but be sure to close everything related to KIES via the taskmanager.
Hook the phone via usb cable to your pc and Odin should confirm this with a blue com box .
Then click on the bootloader box and select the tar package from Ficeto .
Now simply press start and wait for the device to finish.
Now boot in recovery via the three button combo ( volume up +home +power untill i9300 screen)
go to flash zip from sd / choose zip from sd and find the zip, click it and follow the instructions.
Let the update script do its work and you are on our newest release for i9300.

There where problems in my Closed beta tester groupt without flashing our kernel so i would advise to still flash the kernel

well i wasnt sure what happened with the kernel and did not have time to check it out buut it seemed there where leftovers from other kernels with people who did not flash our kernel first.
You should not have problems skipping to another rom in the future BUT you will love this :angel:

If you're coming from 4.1.x then FULL WIPE is highly recommended!
Always check MD5 of your downloaded zip file
You will get this installed in three easy steps
Go to CWM based recovery by holding HOME- POWER - and VOL UP BUTTON
Choose "Install from sdcard"
Now click on GlamourS4 zip, work till installer finishes and you're done!

v7.0 bugs
- Might random reboot (kernel problem)
- Apps might close with no error sometimes (kernel problem)
- When phone is off phone will turn on without pressing a thing (kernel problem)
- In call when Air Gestures are ON you might get Gesture Services stopped working then simply delete GesturesService.apk
- For some Wi-Fi hotspot doesn't work?!
Conclusion: Samsung didn't give us KitKat and developers compiled a kernel by themselves and yet it's booting so we have to bear those bugs when we want KitKat :/

v6.0 - updated
Every ROM have also few or many bugs:
Rotation doesn't work (ArchiPort bug)
Homescreen might flicker sometimes (Also ArchiPort bug)
Wi-Fi might not work for all (again due to port)
Quicksettings got bug when turning off Mobile Network
Be continued...
But yeah overall it's stable and smooth enough for everyday use.

I now have a fully functional v2.9 ROM which is light and without fc or overheating after 2 days of playing around with the ROM. These are the steps and perhaps someone may also find these steps useful. First of all make a copy of the zip you downloaded so you don't have to waste your time downloading this big file should you mistakenly delete what is important. Do a nandroid backup of your phone as usual. Download Ultimate Kernel Cleaning Script for GS3 and CrossBreeder and transfer to your external card.
1) Replace SecSetupWizard in Apps folder of the zip with the functional one provided earlier in v2.5
2) Replace the SecLauncher3 in the Apps folder of the zip with the one provided by Henry in the TW fix.
3) Copy the sws jar file from the TW fix by Henry to the framework folder of the zip.
4) Replace the SecContactsProvider.apk and SecContacts.apk in the Apps folder of the zip with the ones from v2.5
5) Transfer your zip to an external card
6) Boot to Recovery and flash Ultimate Kernel Cleaning Script for GS3 followed by a Full wipe (data, cache and dalvik or a Megawipe)
7) Flash your zip
8) Reflash Ultimate Kernel Cleaning Script for GS3
9) Flash Crossbreeder and reboot. Done
Optional to make the rom lighter before flashing. Please be sure of what you are doing.
10) Delete unwanted apks from the Apps folder of the zip
11) Delete unwanted language stuffs from the sipdb folder. Please know what you are deleting stands for. en is En = English, fr = French e.t.c
12) Delete unwanted sounds from the subfolders (alarms, ringtone and notifications) in the media folder. Do not touch the UI folder (User interface folder)
13) For transparent weather: Delete weatherwidgetdaemon and accuweatherphone2013 from the zip and then copy the accuweatherphone2013 for XXUFME7 mod by Arsaw to the Apps folder of the zip.

There's a way to restore stock app: Open system/app in Root Explorer you will see there 2 SamsungCamera files.
The one you need to modify is SamsungCamera.apkk change it to (.apk) , put extension .bak to SamsungCamera2.apk if you want to get S4 camera back. You can't have more than one app with same resources.
Q:S Health is force closing

Interesting. Could we get them goodies as a flashable pack for other ROMs then? I actually wouldn't like to change my Android Revolution. It's been rock-solid and performing amazingly for months. Please? Pretty please?

Makes sense..how about kernals compatible with this build?
It seems that my facebook doesn't sync on blink feed. It only shows up when I choose Facebook, but not in highlights.
Edit: rebooted and it's fine now. the Rom is nice and smooth. Thanks

Bluetooth issue wont work until HTC releases source code.. You can listen to music and hear people talking but still same issues with people not able to hear you while on BT.

Installation to Stock slot is Required. I will not support rom slots as they do not work.

Download rom and or theme and place on SDCard.
Reboot Device and enter Safe Strap by pressing menu on screen during splash.
Make a backup of current ROM
Factory Reset from wipe menu is REQUIRED.
Install Rom.zip.
Install theme.zip if your using one.
Reboot device ( allow up to 5 minutes for device to boot to Setup wizard).
Wait 5 minutes to allow device to settle.
Log in and set up device.

Q. What is a clean flash?
A. Clean flash is as follows....
Boot to ss
Hit wipe
Slide to factory reset
Back out
Hit install
Find zip
Slide to install
This deletes everything except data. You will have to set the phone up again. All your pics and sounds and downloads are safe and will be there when you return.
Super clean install is as follows....
Boot to ss
Hit wipe
Swipe to factory reset
Back out
Hit install
Find zip
Slide to flash
Reboot.
This will wipe everything on the phone, all pics, sounds, settings, everything will be gone, except the contents of the sdcard.
Q. What is a dirty flash?
A. Dirty flash is as follows...
Boot to ss
Hit install
Find zip file
Slide to flash
Reboot.
This deletes absolutely nothing, no wipe needed.
Q.What happens when I wipe data?
A.While in Safestrap if you select the "Wipe" button, you will then be taken to a screen with three options. Here is an attempt to somewhat clarify those options.
1. Swipe to Factory Reset - This is the most common way of wiping, and what is most commonly used for installing a new ROM. This option is considered a "Clean Flash".
2. Advanced Wipe - This option is used to specify partitions to wipe. It is generally okay to select all options here EXCEPT "Micro SDcard". This can also be used when doing a "Clean Flash".
3. Format Data - DO NOT USE the "Format Data" button. If you select it by accident you are going to be required to type the word "yes" to even proceed further. You have been hereby WARNED. If you refuse to heed this warning there is a good chance you will soft brick your phone.
Q. Can I flash to a slot?
A. Yes, you sure can. Expect bugs or issues, expect the reboot option in the power menu to NOT work.
Q. How to I go back to stock?
A. Dirty flash the rom. (see above)
Q. Somethings are acting strange, is there a easy fix?
A. Boot to SS (safestrap) hit wipe, now hit advanced and check the cache and dalvik cache box's ONLY! slide to wipe, reboot system.
Q. My signal is weak, is it the rom?
A. I highly doubt that, it's related to the modem and some are better than others depending where you are. Check out other Modems here.
Q. Where can I find the add-on'?
A. In the DK store. Hit menu/system settings/device then DK rom control.
Q. My battery life isn't very good, how can I find what's going on?
A. Download "wakelock detector" and "better battery stats". Then if you are still confused, take a screenshot and post it.
Q. Where do I start??
A.On first boot, status bar will be black on home screen to make transparent it must be fixed If you want transparent. (Statusbar Gradient)
Open each respective setting and apply the color.Transparent is selected by default.
Also on first boot, there is no visible clock. You must set your style and alignment. Warning, center clock does not play well with ticker notifications ( They overlap when present, WIP)
Note about 3minit quick launch, After you tick to have or untick to remove, you need to reboot for it to remove properly.
If you are changing a lot of things like systemUi or lockscreen, Your device will hot boot to apply the change. I strongly suggest to do a full reboot after you are done playing. (Hot reboot "can" causing battery performance issues)
Q. How do I make my status bar transparent?
A. Go to the Rom Control and then tap status bar mods. Go down and tap "Status Bar Gradients." Now there should be 2 color options, just tap a color, then tap the box on the bottom right because that is the transparent. Do the same for the second color.
Q. Why is the jome button is not turning on the screen?
A. There is a toggle for it in Rom control, under hardware keys.
Q. Is off topic discussion allowed here?
A. Absolutely not, take it somewhere else..... Of course it's allowed here. We all love to chat, showoff, brag, and keep others in the loop. It's a big family in here!
Q. Reboot toggle isn't working?
A. It's a WIP, fix is in the works.
Q. AOSP lockscreen isn't working?
A. It's a WIP, fix is in the works.
Q. How do I check apn settings?
A. Settings>Networks>More Networks>Mobile Networks>Access Point Names
From here, you can reset to default by hitting menu/reset to default

I am the developer of Dynamic Kat. Originally for the AT&T Note 3 found here.
This is your ROM, I will custom tailor it to fit your needs. I am always open to request. You want to contribute to the rom, thats great! I will include it in Rom Control and everyone can use it.
I try to run a nice relaxing home here. DK is more than just a rom. It is a group of people hanging out doing the things they enjoy TOGETHER. We all work together to make it a nice easy going friendly place to be.

Can you point me in the direction of what is exactly missing? I would think it's possible to bring those features in as a flash able addition.

Allows you to select a custom app to launch on home button or swipe up. Can't be turned off in home settings.
