[Q] Can someone help me please(xperia x8 crisis)??

Hi guys!!
I'm new here, I found your page cause I am very interested in the update of my xperia x8, I have to say, you're awesome, from 2.1 to 2.3, and I get this ROM "GingerDX v022 2.3.7", i've already checked my kernel and base band, they're both updated,
Well, my trouble is that when I did all the process with xRecovery step by step, after that, I installed the ROM and it got stocked in the gingerdx logo with a short sound and It won't start now, I dont know what to do, otherwise I'm gonna find another ROM that works better than this one,
It would be nice that you can help me with this or recommend me a better one

this is x10 thread not x8

Are You stuck on bootanimation. Did You format the data after changing the ROM?

Yes, if You're stuck on a bootanimation try to format the data from xRecovery, else try to change the Kernel

thanks anyway, I fixed it by formatting the data, and it just run the GingerDX, now I'm enjoying and exploring it

[Q] How do i switch from TWRP to CWM?

How do i do this? I have beem seeing other posts, but im confused about those, any help?

Why use ROM manager ? Use a safe method. Flash ! Or universal kernel flasher!

Hey, i just remembered why did i install TWRP. I wanted to flash the JetMod ROM. But i dont know why, my TWRP doesnt see any files in the SDcard, i also cannot use the backup feature, it says "E:failed to mount sdcard (No such file or direction)"
Im using Team Win Recovery Project v2.2.1.

I think u need to Mount system in twrp. I never used it. I always used cwm !

Sorry for late reply, but cocore 6.0 is for android 4.1, i never switched to any other version of the system, would i need to switch to 4.1? i have 2.3.6. Or is there another way?

I don't know about 2.3.6 .. but for cocore u need 4.1.2 .. u can update and its a really easy and short process

[Q] Help removing CM 10.2

I have had the CM 10.2 for a couple of months now and it keeps on turning the phone off and apps are crashing. so now i need help removing it form my Sony Xperia z. Can anny one pls help me? Sry for mye bad english.

Download another ROM, put it on your SD card, wipe everything, flash ROM, flash relevant kernel

Browse the Z forums for an FTF and flash it with flashtool
or
Go to android development and flash a stock rom that way via recovery

tried to flash ANY CUSTOM ROM b:crying::crying:ut touch wiz says its incompatible i have z c6603 filmware 4.1.2 all i have to do is keep flashing my phone back to this ROM as it dosnt work please if anyone can help it would be great its rooted and unlocked Bootlode:crying:

Could you please be more specific with what you want? Did you have tw before and it stopped working or are you unable to install it?

i flashed this rom C6603_10.1.A.1.434_UK unbranded.ftf with flash tool no i cant flash any custom rom just will not install

I assume you don't have one installed. You wrote that your bootloader is unlocked. You can flash a custom recovery via flashtool or command prompt. Make sure you're taking one for xperia z. Otherwise you will hardbrick your phone.

Use the search function. There are some threads about it. If you want to use an app your phone has to be rooted. Though you want to be careful with those apps. Usually using flashtool is the better and safer way. Use toweleoot.apk to root your phone.

If you have a rooted XZ
Then you will need to install the custom recovery
Download the files from that thread & put it in your phone's internal storage & follow the instructions to flash it

How did you install 4.4.4?
I told you to flash the pre-rooted rom isn't it?
If you flash that rom then your phone was rooted.
