As we all know, nfc support in rom made by thewhisp is locked.
Now Questions
Anybody know why he removed the nfc support from kernel?
there is any possibility to get the newest relases of roms with nfc? some path or whatever...

TheWhisp have 6500D version without NFC, and he made this for himselfs and just share with us... he can't debug it!

Hello i have been wondering since my last phone (Xperia X8 (my first android device)) why in custom roms the most common bug is the mallfunctioning Fm Radio >?
Is it hard to modify or something ?
If im not mistaken is in the AOSP sources an official FM radio not present. I think that the most factories add it? (Im no expert in this but this sounds the most logical)
Hi all, i'm searching for a stable ROM for my new GT-8910N, possibly with NFC support.
I've read about Maclaw's ROM, but i don't know what to choose, i need your help.
I'm coming from Nexus HD2 by tytung CM 10.2, and now the stock ROM 4.1.2 is a back step.
I want to upgrade to a stable ROM for a daily use, also for my wife's phone.
My phone details:
GT-8910N
ANDROID 4.1.2
BASE BAND I8910NXXALL6
KERNEL 3.0.31-742346
BUILD JZO54K.I8910NXXALL6

Hi bud, look if you want a ROM receiving the NFC support you better stick to stock rom or a custom one based in stock 'cause Maclaw's roms don't support NFC feature yet, well, that being said I've been since the beginning only with AOSP based roms so I don't really know which customs roms are out there that support the NFC feature but I think Dmod, Benz and Virginity roms support it you can check them out in the Android Development section, greetings man.

Hi there. I think there's only a few custom rom support NFC. Below are the custom ROMS that support NFC.

-DMod v6
I think only these supports, the others I'm not so sure.
Anyway, your current rom is 4.4.1 from maclaw, most of the ROMS from maclaw will not support NFC.

Not So Long Ago Sir blearreaz0n Helped Us And We Got ROOT And CWM Working On The Device. He Also Said That He Was Working On A CM10.1 Rom. But Its Been Like A Year Now And We Have Got Progress On The Project. Actually Its Not That Easy To Build CM Rom And I Was Wondering That We Should Help And Try To Build CM10 Rom Together I Mean All The Owners Of This Device That Is. Sir blearreaz0n Has Also Build A CM10.1 Rom Which Can Be Downloaded From His Post. I Was Trying To Build A CM10 Rom But Encountered Many Problems (Maybe Its Because Of My PC Its Not That Good). So Can Anybody Help Me Build This Rom. I Am Trying To Fix Some Bugs On The CM10.1 Rom By Sir blearreaz0n.

Hello, I was thinking about something, maybe it shouldn't help only the owners of Galaxy Pocket Plus but maybe all the owners of every BCM21654 devices, the help would be greater and more devices without CM support would get CM builds. I'm not a developer but would like to help and work together to get CM working on BCM21654 devices. Mine is Galaxy Music. Just an idea :silly:
yes that can be possible actually but we firstly need a power full pc i mean i i3 only has 3gb ram i tried compiling but failed due to errors
Hey, I'm using an unofficial CyanogenMod 11 rom from novafusion, and I have the NFC model. Unfortunately it does not have NFC drivers. Is there a way I can enable NFC? Thanks.
Unfortunately, there are no custom ROMs here which support NFC. Sorry mate.

I think this mod can help but Maclaw should enable it. I tried but after install wifi stopped working but the option to enable nfc in settings appears.
