there is no reason
i did it
With the advent of the 4.2.2 sense roms reading the CID to determine which data icons you get, S-Off has a purpose there. For us with AT&T phones that means unless we don't change the AT&T CID we get AT&T data icons automatically. Changing that to either a generic(HTC__001) or US dev edition (BS_US001) with the fastboot oem rewritecid command will make you have the international icons. You could also use superCID, but for me at least I was having issues receiving texts using superCID.

If you don't know what s-off is then the chances are that you really don't need it.
Imagine if you can that your phone is a big box. With s-on that box is made of steel: you can drop it, throw it at a wall, store it in a tank of water and you're not likely to do it any real harm. With s-off it's made low grade glass.

If u don't know what it's for then you don't need it. It's as simple as that. Not a lot else to add because if u knew what S-OFF was you'd know if u need it

yes you can unroot simply by flashing a stock rom and use the revone tool to lock or relock your bootloader. if you re-lock, your warranty is still voided but if you lock the bootloader then you are good to go.

Agreed if you haven't read about it in the past two months or had HTC before and know what it is it may be best to keep s on so you don't brick yourself. S off allows you to change stuff that the average flashaholic should not change. One wrong move in a hex editor or ruu mode and you sir will have a very nice shoe horn

S-Off is for alot of low level stuff on the phone, flashing radios, hboot, getting rid of the red development text, tampered text from recovery, also it is possible to sim unlock with s-off although there isnt a 100 percent success rate atm, also changing your device identifier (CID) is possible with s-off, this allows you to flash any RUU that's available (SuperCID).
could anybody make it?

I can't get any other rooting software except kingo to root my device...Ive tried just about every rooter on here, and from what im just now reading on here kingo has severe security issues...which has me worried. Would that be a possible explanation for the roms im installing not allowing my wifi to activate? Cause if so id, like help actually getting one of these root...ers, on here to actually root my device.
But I always get that weird system/bin/su not found error when I use doomlordz easy rooter...with kingo It's flawless and quick, but there's probably a really bad reason for that....help please...
Doomlords methods have to work fine.
Which build do you have?
Usb debugging and unknown source/origin on?

Yes sir, im on 10.3.1.E.0.191 on the t-mobile C6606... USB and unknown source allowed. It always says there is a system/bin/SU error Which is frustrating because i know it has to work, hundreds of others have done it, so that means its either my phone or me messing up somewhere along the lines....and id really like to not have china Tracking me on GPS and sending a missile through my bedroom window.
Link me the thread which you used

Doom's method don't work as you're not on a stock 0.67 firmware, but on a carrier specific firmware.
Correct me if i'm wrong but kingo is the only way.

So since kingo is the only way does that mean there is no way to fix the Wifi, not working issue? it doesn't turn on...its greyed out and when I can press it it just keeps saying turning on...I use the PhilzTouch Recovery system....
And this is the Rom im trying to install as I am stuck with a locked bootloader http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2351803
