Another GREAT piece of work from Superatmel and his "team" ([email protected],Blerfont, CML)... the best and the most complete and functional Gingerbread ROM I've tried for now; no issues at all in everyday use I don't know why it's not been mentioned yet

No, it's not a Sense ROM; the clock you see in the screenshot is FancyWidget clock

this ROM looks great, i may give it a try
too bad the instructions are in spanish and google translate mess some of the paragraphs

you have to disable and re-enable it in Supsetup; the same for Music3...

What about GPS? Is it working? I'm still having the problem, also with the latest nighties that GPS is not working.

Yes it works, at least for me...I'm using it right now with google maps navigator; with cm7 it never worked and that's why I switch back to CM6.1 before this Superginger

I active galery and remove Terminal on Supsetup but the galery don't show for me and Terminal still there...

You must do this a second time...

Overlay is a way to have R/W system running without S-OFF... it creates an overlay image of your /system folder which you can modify because it does not have securflag....

Just one important hint, @spegelius didn't port it, he compiled that beast from Source, which is an important fact

Oh hey, thanks for putting this up . I never got around to it, didn't seem that too many users were interested about it. But good to hear it works for people. And about the build, i used LeJay's kernel sources etc to make it happen.

Happy to know about this! Already dowwloaded it but I need my phone working this weekend and I can't risk to have any kind of problem, I will surelly try it as soon as I get home next week.

What Android version is this based on? 4.2, by any chance? I was foolishly hoping that it could work with Safestrap for us suckers without the international variant.

It's 4.3.1. For non-international S4 Active, there would need to be proper kernel at least...

Install the rom? Flash it with CWM. Install the kernel? Well i don't know about other devices than Intl S4 Active, but inst it like, even if there was such kernel, it can't be flashed due to locked bootloader?

This looks good. Has anyone (besides spegelius) flashed it? I'm reasonably satisfied with my rooted 4.2.2 stock ROM and really want to move to 4.4. On my SIII I already had KitKat and now I have to settle with 4.2

I installed this ROM but google play acts strange. It doesn't reinstall all my packages and still refuses to install for instance swype. I chose for the aroma gapps but will do a new wipe and try another gapps

I have several issues. My titanium restored Wi-Fi passwords are disappearing each time. The phone discharges as fast as it is charging. It will probably be empty after 1 hour on battery.
I think I will switch to my LG G2 I recently acquired... any ideas?

I use PA's latest mini package and kept getting a Google + crash every few seconds. Flashing the mini Slim gapps fixed it.

First bugs...
The CPU all time working at 1190Mhz with all cores, incredible battery drain, using Trickster MOD and changing mpdecision in system/bin for CarbonROM solve this problem
Another small bug, if you configure shake events whith torch when screen turn off the phone turn off :/

I no longer have root after installing this. Is there something special that needs to be done? I did a full wipe/format, wipe cache, wipe davlik and installed rom. I even tried to install various SuperUser apps from Playstore but root checker still says am not rooted.

Exactly once Code Name: Project X Top Secret comes in a few months or so depending if I want to release it I'll stop updating gr7, so gr5 won't be update unless I want to

Instructions to get root
Code:
1 Enable Developer Options
2. Go to Developer Options
3 Then go to Root Access
3 Then Select Apps & Adb to enable root
Their you go you enabled ROOT

I'm having a problem where I can't answer calls.
The person will call bit when I slide to answer, it simply hangs the call up.
Any ideas?

it doesnt work!!! i booted to twrp for oreo & tried flashing it, but it gave error. Can you please upload the file to some other server or website the current one that being used didnt auto download the file. had to change server & all.

Do i need to downgrade to nougat before flashing this?

You need Nougat before flashing.

1 st Custom rom in XDA for Mi A1
Awesome great work devs, hope you guys make this rom stable.

Still doesnt work.. i flashed nougat 7.1.2, booted to twrp using 3.1.1.1 which didnt recognise my internal storage space. I again flashed oreo & booted via twrp 3.2.1 which is for oreo & my laptop detected the internal storage which wasnt happening in 3.1.1.1
