Did some of you thing about making new ROM with 4.4 android ? I would really prefer pure android (no launchers).
I am restive for new android on my Samsung NOTE and support from Samsung is 0.

Im trying to decide between htc one and galaxy s4 and the drawback to the htc one to me is the flavor of android it has (sense 5?) and so my question is, is there a vanilla android ROM I can flash it with or something if I get it? I will figure it all out and spend hours learning how to do it once I know if I even can! Thank you so much
Yes you can install CyanogenMod and such.
Samsung are planning to release a Vanilla version of the Galaxy S4 without the Touchwiz interface.
Hey Guys!
I am running Android 4,4,2 cm 11 and have been reading about the release of Android L and the cm One Plus phone coming, do any of you people out there know if there is any Android L or One plus based custom roms out there for the xperia z1?

Hey guys,
I've recently seen a few developers porting the Touchwiz Lollipop interface to their Stock touchwiz 4.4.2 ROMs :
-A ROM for the S4 Mini : http://www.s5proyect.es/ , http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-mini/development/s5-s4-mini-t2987500
As you can see here http://www.s5proyect.es/images/templatemo_event_03.jpg , the interface is identical to Touchwiz Lollipop, but this screenshot was taken from a Stock 4.4.2 Touchwiz Rom.
-A ROM for Note 3 Neo : http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-3-neo/development/rom-note-4-mini-t2982138
Since our S5 mini is running the same 4.4.2 version of Touchwiz, I was wondering if it was possible to decompile their framework and systemui and port them for our phone, make a flashable zip ?
If any dev is interested in doing so, feel free to. It would make the official Lollipop wait a bit more bearable

Hello,
I have just read that Android was the most vulnerable OS in 2016, and I feel concerned as a user of Z1 Stock ROM (based on Lollipop 5.1.1) version 14.6.A.1.236, released in 2015.
I was wondering if updating official rom from Sony with security updates released by Google on Android 5.1.1 is a project that the community could do?
I haven't found yet any tutorial to do it on xperia or any "obsolete" smartphone.
I know security is a main purpose of Jaguar Rom (by @optimumpro) but I would like to keep an Android Stock base (for camera & stability).
Thank you.
Soooooooo apparently this has never been done before...
The Samsung Galaxy NX Camera is a Camera that runs full Android 4.2.2 and is the first and last of its kind for now. This camera has great potential! I want to be able to use apps to edits my videos and pictures as I do on my Pixel 2 XL BUT the problem is, it doesn't update pass Android 4.2.2. Most of the apps I want to use require the firmware to be at least Android 5.0+ and sucks because not only this device is unknown and discontinued by Samsung but there are no ROMs made for it. I can root the device I just need to get an Android Custom ROM, It would be nice to be able to run Android 9 or 10 but I don't know much about doing this, when comes to stuff like this I am a Newb. So yes I need help figuring this out. (this would be a great challenge for developers I bet lol)
The camera came out in 2014 around the same time as the Samsung S4.
MODEL #: Galaxy NX (EK-GN120a)
Android Version: 4.2.2
