[Q] Restore 3x3 App drawer grid? - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey all,
I recently flashed ARHD 31.0 to my HTC One, and for some reason, I can't select a 3x3 app grid for use in my App Drawer. My only selections are 3x4 and 4x5. I'm not sure if I'm going insane and have always used a 3x4 app grid, or if I used a 3x3 app grid before I reflashed. My question is, is 3x4 the default and I'm literally going insane, or is 3x3 the default that I used to use and for whatever reason I can't use it? If it's the second, how can I re-enable the 3x3 grid option?
Thanks!

4x3 is the default, but because of the time and weather when the app drawer is first opened, the grid is 3x3 on the first page.

[Q] App to change Icon Spacing

Hi is there a app or setting to change the icon and Widget spacing? Iwant to put them closer, there is so much space wasted.
Many third party launchers such as launcher pro or adw allow you to adjust the amount of columns and rows used allowing you to add more icons.

how about an edit so you don't have to run another app
I would think there would be a configuration file with spacing in it that you could edit so you don't have to run another app. There are a lot of good launcher apps but the only thing I don't like about the home screen is the spacing and don't want to have to have another app running just to resolve that.
What rom are you running? If you are rooted there are roms that have stock but only icons spacing changed. Can't find post right now. If you aren't rooted you'll need to write to HTC to change their launcher.

Nova Launcher lockscreen

Hi,
using Nova Launcher I configured Icons on the bottom quick launch tray.
On Lockscreen the icons are still the ones configured for the sense launcher.
They change only after unlocking the phone.
Any ideas?

You have to go back to the sense launcher first and do it that way, once back on nova launcher they will show up on lock screen.

It's because the lockscreen is being controlled by sense and your home screen by Nova. Two different beasts

Ok.
Installed Home Switcher,
changed to Sense Launcher,
configured Quicklaunch same as Nova Settings
changed back to Nova.
Experience is now not the same but quite similar.
But didn't understand: Why is the lockscreen always sense and not Nova???
Because you have just put a launcher on the phone and not done anything to your lockscreen you are still using the sense lockscreen so it will be based on sense still.

Nova isn't a lockscreen, its a launcher
Get Holo Locker to get the stock lockscreen for Nova.
OK, hope to understand: lock screen is one app, launcher another?
But shouldn't it change to Nova launcher when using a quicklaunch icon then?
The behaviour I see is that using a quicklaunch icon from lockscreen starts sense launcher,
Back button stays in sense. Lock and Unlock again is sense. Changes to nova
first time i press Home. Could call it a feature: Can easily get blinkfeed under nova
this way

those five icons on your lock screen are just shortcuts that mirror the five icons on your SENSE launcher. So regardless of what icons you have there using NOVA launcher, the lock screen will still show what's on the SENSE launcher.
So if you want to change the icons there, go back to using the sense launcher and change the five icons to the ones you want, then go back to using nova.
lockscreen widget issue
I have a galaxy s4 verizon, rooted, running gummy rom, launcher3 is preset in the rom and I downloaded Nova launcher. There is a yahoo weather widget on my lockscreen that I cannot find any settings for in either launcher or rom settings. It is registering temp in celsius and I need farenheit, haha. Any suggestions? Thanks

Apex Launcher with Null Rom - drawer issue

Anyone know how to get the names of the apps to show up in the Apex apps drawer instead of just little icons. I swear Nova would allow for this.
No, I don't have that option ticked either to hide them in the settings. I'm at a loss as to why I only get the icons and not the apps name?

Ruduce the number of rows to 3. The default of 4 is too many and cuts off the names. You can find the grid settings under drawer settings. Change for portrait and landscape.

How to use different grid sizes at the same time (4x4 on home and 5x5 on next screen)

I'm on a Samsung Note 5 and I've been trying to make my widgets more readable by having them on a 4x4 grid sized screen, but I really like the room that I get for my app icons on the 5x5 screens. Is there any way that I can have both going on at the same time?
I'm rooted and on BreakDown's DPD1 v2.1 rom. I've got Xposed and have tried many different apps from the Play Store, Xposed, etc. I've also tried apps that change the DPI setting of my apps, and they do help with my widgets, but they ruin the app when I open them. For example, I can't reach the "Delete" button in Evernote because the DPI settings have made it sink under the screen. It makes the widget just the right size though. No 3rd party launcher seems to be able to do what I want either. I thought Zen UI could, but the grid size option is only for the app drawer and not the homescreen.
Ideally, I'd like for there to be a button or setting that let's me change the grid size on a per screen basis, instead of the universal setting that there is now. Can anyone help me out?

Custom icon grid size

Hi,
Question, has anyone tried changing icon grid size? Especially in app drawer? I know you can do that by using nova launcher for example, but don't really want to put new launcher on tab as default one is OK.
Thanks!
