Under same flip as your sim card there is also plastic thing that you can pull out with sharp object like needle. There you can find some info of your device including model.

Bell? Taco Bell?
Galaxy S3 and Z both use the same SIM card size. Did you remember to use the SIM card tray on the Z? Also, what makes you think the Z IMEI number is not supported?

Bell is in Canada lol.
As far as the sim card it should defiantly fit? Just take the tray out and stick it in. I got mine a few days ago

I used a fingernail and pulled it out. This was also detailed on the stickers that covered the back panel, and in the quickstart guide in the phone box.
I kindly suggest you RTFM.

I am on the Bell network and it works perfectly but doesn't have LTE only HSPA+. When you figure out the SIM card insert issue, you have to manually put in the APN settings from Bell. Once that is done reboot the phone and there now you have a XZ working on Bell.

I have tested on my zl, but sure that it will work on z also.
hey everyone, I found a way to bypass the lock screen and remove the password/ pin from the settings.
well, this i got to know accidently when i was trying to run a code on the phone.
hile i was searching on a sonymobile website, there came a code *#*#73556673#*#* to run the retail demo, after running the demo, my locked phone removed the pin and shown swipe unlock screen.
then i again locked it with password and then run the code from the locked screen through emergency calling number. after that i pressed the home button 2 times and my locked screen changed from password to swipe screen unlock.
NOTE that after pressing this code retail demo starts, and to stop that demo you have to run the code again....... if you want more help, then ask......
so this is easy way to unlock the Xperia zl, it must also work on Xperia z, if you have Z, then please share your views.
I think it is the best way to unlock the phone because it removes the password from settings. old trick was that to access the service menu through emergency number.........
my aim towards posting this trick was to show and tell SONY that they should look upon the security issues and improve the security for the upcoming updated of 4.2..........
please hit thanks if anybody was helped from this post

What do you expect? This thread is 8 months old.
The Z was still running Android 4.1 then. Sony fix this type of bug/exploit in new firmware updates.

Yes, it will work for those that stay on old firmware, though I doubt 20% of XDA members with an Xperia Z are on 4.1.2, which is 3 major Android versions out of date.
I was simply responding to someone complaining it didn't work and explaining why.

works on c6603 on android 4.4.2
So I was having a look at the Service Test menu of my phone and the battery capacity reads 2564000 uAh, that translates to 2564mAh, right? 10% more than the claimed oficial battery capacity.
Is this a mistake or do I have a 10% higher capacity battery on my device.
Whats everyone elses read?
Enter this on the dialer in case you don't already know *#*#7378423#*#* and go to Service Tests > Batttery Health Test

I have the C6603 version of the device. I think it means LTE vs non LTE.
I see you have 6602 version. 10% more vattery because of the LTE added feature?
Let's wait if other users can confirm this.

It's not, it's because of a problem with their servers / something else. But it's on their end, and it's not working in Sweden either. If you Google it, the issue isn't only limited to our Z, it exists on the Z1 on Z tablet too.
