Ok let's start..
First of all, if you have unlocked bootloader, then :
Go to this thread forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2493994
And just follow instructions there(a bit of reading and stuff)
If you have a locked bootloader, then you gotta unlock it first (and yes cm will work only on unlocked bootloaders). Simply go here forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2354721
And once you have an unlocked bootloader, just visit the first link and follow instructions there.
Good luck:thumbup::sly:

Well, first first first of all you should learn to read. All the answers are here on this topic.
Second first of all, you should notice the difference between Cynogenmod (CM) and Clockworkmod (cwm).
Good luck, dont brick your phone.
Edit: Make a backup with "Backup-TA" of your TA partition, search for it and understand why you would maybe want this BEFORE you unlock your bootloader!

[Q] Unlock bootloader to flash new rom?

Hey guys!
Found my old xperia x8 and i wanted to flash a new rom.
rooted it and installed xrecovery.
do i need to unlock the bootloader to flash a new rom?
Or just for the kernel?
you unlock your bootloader to flash a custom kernel. Some roms are for stock kernel and others are for customs. What rom do you want to install? Also you maybe will need cwm and not xrecovery.

you do not need to unlock your bootloader for this.
Just root, install recovery, flash a deodexed rom and flash the MOD.
Find instructions on how to do this in the second post of the first thread in the Q&A section

Are you rooted?
If not then root your phone. If you are, then ask in that thread, because you are not installing it properly, it works fine for others.

[Xperia T] Bootloader unlock allowed: No

Hello !
Let me ask you this quick question because I did not find an answer in the different topics on the forum.
I wanted to install Cyanogen 11 (Android 4.4) on my Xperia T but I get the message "Bootloader unlock allowed: No"
So I'm wondering if it is possible to unlock the bootloader.
Thank you in advance,

You can do anything that doesn't need unlocked BL. That means e.g. flashing stock ROMs, stock-based ROMs (most of them). But you can't flash kernels!
Just read every instructions really carefully so you won't brick your phone and everything will be OK
My phone is T. Xperia T.

[Q] Root and Backup TA on KK 14.3.A.0.757 (4.4.2)

Hello Everyone,
I need some help, i have KK 4.4.2 i need to Root and backup TA.
It's this possible? someone is kind enough to tell me the steps or link to do it?!
Thanks to all in advance for help and sorry, but I'm a beginner and i don't want to do damage..
1) Flash a FTF ending in .534 (Find the relevant files and instructions in the mega collection thread in the general section)
2) Install dual recovery (Find the files and instructions in the cross device development thread)
3) Flash a Rom of your choice (You will find the files and instructions in the development thread for stock based roms and in the priginal development thread for custom roms)
There is no need to back up your TA unless you are unlocking your bootloader
There is no need to unlock your bootloader is you using stock based rom.
If you do want to backup your TA then use the TA backup tool found in the cross device development thread. Do it any time after installing dual recovery and before unlocking your bootloader
Follow link today i rooted my.757
