[Q] What are these annoying things??? gah!!

I've wiped the entire phone twice now - once my the one-click factory default, and once by flashing stock rom/kernel/etc and wiping all data before and after, including both caches and the dalvik...
Look at the attached photo. W.t.h. are those??
They show up on messages, load bars, contacts, phone calls, etc...
These darn things will NOT go away!
I am now on Unleash the Beast 0.2 [root + sideload enabled, busybox] w/ battery and blackbar mods.

Someone in another thread said they were from another launcher. Since you have a different font, your phone is not 100% stock - what is installed?

This is the other thread.
It looks like a font/theme issue to me and not something to do with a task killer.

Actually looking closer it looks like the font lacks certain characters and the default character is a bunny, either that or for some reason a period is a bunny character.

True, sorry I forgot to mention that I reverted to an older restore after the restores didn't work - I have ADW.Launcher and a font [akbar? or something] installed and not in use.
-----> I will uninstall these asap.
@jaseone, thank you for the link, that was my old thread... I thought I had solved it myself, but then they came back today...... I thought I deleted that old thread but I forgot, apologies for duplication, totally spaced out.

Sir, you are brilliant. I do believe that's the case! If I'm not mistaken, I got it from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=759642, which has a compilation for the Vibrant...
The different device explains the difficulty, and the user-forged font explains the bunny, or whatever.

[Q] Gps location on CM7

Hello.
I live in Israel and using milestone with CM7.
When I use GPS, it does not show me my real location - but a different location, not where I realy am.
What could be the problem?

Hi, i installed yesterday paranoid Android and it looked awesome, but there are a big problem, the mobile signal didn't work and the BaseBand said unknown , i will agree that somebody could ask to the pemguins for me, tonyp and the creators of this awesome rom, please, i am novice and it cannot ask directly, i am coming from cyanogenmod and mi actual BaseBand is 20120521, i'm from Colombia and my mobile is a p990h and the update will never arrive here, for now there are updates only for Europa and Asia, please help me. Thanks. Sorry for my english

Hola. Well, I'm not sure if the P990h is supported, if I remember correctly some older cm10 nightlies worked and the newer ones doesn't anymore.
Please flash the official cm10.1 ROM and test if that works for you, I'd like to know of its the ROM's fault - which u doubt.
If it doesn't then I can't do much for you as I have no idea whatsoever about your phone.

Oh, Thanks, infinite thanks. Ok, i will download a nightlie and i will test, i was looking and there are not a v30 for the countrys with a p990h ****ing Lg, thanks for you for all the work in your roms mod, i believe that i will change mi mobile in short time and will never come back to Lg again.

Well I'm from Venezuela and i have the P990h too, the only CM10 rom that will work on our devices are the nightlies 20121105 if remember...your panaroidandroid roms are simply great, the hackfest workded perfect but your last versions don't recognize the baseband, data and the battery % is 999 i could read that the P990h is totally incompatible ahh excellent work tonyp you're a great developer :good:

Hey guys, a Venezuelan here ^^
I got CM10 working on my device by erasing the CAL data with Smartflash. Right now, I'm using pengus77's CM10 and it works great.
I believe tonyp's baseband thread on the development forum has info about wiping CAL, so pay it a visit and give it a try.

This is what I was talking about: Fixing Data > WiFi transition and other radio problems, by x_justin.
For some reason, our P990H has radio issues with the newer CM10/CM10.1 releases. Erasing the CAL data and restoring my IMEI fixed the problem for me.
Oh, and remember to back up first (just in case)!

Yes, the IMEI is deleted during the process but you can restore it. The link I posted above will also tell you how to do that.

Where are you located? Which is your baseband and you ril? How about the experiencie? Battery life, perfomance?

Hi Guys!
I do it, i flashed with adb.
It is works perfectly, but the Gmail is not sync. I do not get the mail-s automatic!
In 6.0.1 was good, but now i have a mail more then 2 hours, and i don't get it (I get it when i go in the gmail app, and refresh)
Someone else saw a similar mistake?
Or some setting? (Synchronization set gmail active sync)

The Rom works well so far no issues, if there are any I'll edit my post.

I tried Gmail Sync options, the network (it does not work in 4G, 3 another Wifi)
I installed 'Google Inbox" app, i deleted google account, i restarted the phone.
I set up the "E-mail" app, as same gmail account.
It does not work!
I think the synchronization is not working properly.
I will try a Wipe cache or factory reset. or a reflesh with ABD.

Just tested it, it is giving me a error when I try to sign in.
Snapchat verifies a device before they log you in maybe they have to update the apps framework to support verification on 7.0 but as it is right now I cannot log in.

I don't know G925AUCS5DPK5, I cannot tell you if it can also work, try it at your own risk, but I flashed G925AATT5DKP5 then the ota and I'm running 7.0.
