When @Omario-242 helped you before you didn't press the 'Thanks' button - which is common courtesy when someone helps you.
You really need to learn to search and read before asking basic questions as anything you ask is likely to have been asked at least 10 times before.
I'll start by putting your mind at rest on one thing - you cannot brick this phone. So, if you don't read properly and understand what you are doing, the worst you will have to do is flash a .kdz file to recover (as a hint, look this stuff up so you know what to do if you do screw-up).

[Q] Any DEV can help me?

I am trying make x8 bootloader unlock one button, need help.
Also in tool would be identification of phones
anyone know dev in delphi or vb? wanna help?
Here you go.... :S
who help will get one free sim unlock of any semc model
Can you even program?
Yea I know but I am stuck :S
Note: i have NOTHING against you or what you are doing, merely the attitude of some ppl who are asking for what you want to do
While i can see that you have somewhat good intentions in trying to make things easier for others, i for one do not see any point in having a "one big button" unlock bootloader program.
i mean... the current method is simple enough.
1. run a file, follow the instructions and look for one particular line.
2. if output from 1=something then run File-A. if output from 1=somethingelse then run File=B.
2 double clicks and plugging your phone in twice. How hard can it be? it's gonna b much more of a hassle trying to automate the above process.
Sorry to say this, but if some ppl find doing that a tedious chore then they shouldn't even be unlocking their bootloaders in the first place. it's even simpler than flashing a new rom =.= u don't see them asking for a "one big button rom flash" do u?
I appreciate what you're trying to do, but in my opinion one click tools are counterproductive. People won't bother to read instructions with such tools and they screw up their phone and then start whining. On more tedious-to-use tools, people will read more thoroughly. This is just my 2 cents worth.
Cheers ,

Fastboot success?

Can everyone who unlocked via fastboot method please post the firmware they used here, in 234 I get security error with adb but in fastboot I get option to unlock, trouble is nothing happens when I do. I want to try this with all roms in case a loophole exists somewhere, its the only thing left I can think of, if this doesn't work I'm swapping s3 with GF when she upgrades

If you want to try with all roms its your problem.
You should know better how bootloader unlock works.
All the roms are out there fore you to try them.
To be honest, I don't know how your "thanks meter" grow so much once that you speculate more than you help or give something wortheful.
Life is made of options that we need to deal with... if your happy good, if you're not, your problem, change device, do whatever you want.
Just don't post like if the world is yours and your option will affect all of us.
This "ship" have doors open. Its up to you to stay or to leave. If you leave, I wish you a happy journey and all the best but, choose!!!
Or you stay and deal with it, or leave and leave us with our "issues".
S3 looks like a good device. Go for it and good luck :good:
I'm a deep thinker, and merely ask some input. I've learned quite a lot about android, but still have a lot more to learn. Would be nice for you to give me some insight into how bl unlock works, heard some stuff about fuse but its vague. I love this phone but this is a must for me. A fair few people report success based on what they flashed. I ask questions to learn, and I ask in the appropriate section, so please don't question my thanks meter, I've been around a while but always had an easy unlock solution, or in case of moto defy a very good bypass. This whole region specific stuff is strange to me, I don't pretend to know everything and that's why I ask questions! Don't hate please I've always thought XDA was very unfriendly to noobs, but the longer I've been here the more I realize even seasoned users get burned! I don't have the time to try every rom out there, I have a job to go to, and besides, what's the point of trying something if someone else has already? That's the point of my question

Far from me to hate other user or other user issues.
Things are how they are... Its not easy to deal with nvidia security or LG policies...
You think that if some one had some answer for you (not only) wouldn't give it to?...
I would like to tell you «follow this procedure»... but, I can't!
Take it easy and try to deal with it, or, solve the problem, or wait for a solution... or, change device and you'll be done.

Yes that is true. I'm not expecting an answer to just appear. But people have had success, even 234-000, I've seen the photos. It's possible, there's no doubt in my mind and that is why I try everything I can. Maybe it is just luck but then again I don't think something as precise as a software can be based on luck? All the unlocked users have abandoned the discussions now that cm10.1 is out and it is a little annoying I must admit, so I'm doing everything I can including getting everyone signing that thread I sent to LG (close to 100 btw). I'm sure you aren't hating, just the "that's your problem" and the thanks meter question was a little disrespectful imo. But I know your opinion comes from a good place, I've seen how bad the forum gets spammed and if my post turns out useless I don't care if it's trashed. But like I say, you don't know if you don't try

I have an idea that should work but I can't try , it may fully-brick the device .
Any EUR-xxx user can backup his bootloaders (x-loader/u-boot) in an *.img file :-
Code:
su ; dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p* of=/mnt/sdcard/x-loader.img
And the same for u-boot .. until know I don't know the partition name but it's easy to know it .
x-loader loads before the u-boot , and check for security & hardware (as I remember) and then the u-boot which will load the kernel ,, after that the kernel loads the modems , RIL , display ...
We can flash the bootloaders by fastboot by :-
Code:
fastboot flash x-loader ***.img
fastboot flash u-boot ***.img
And it can be in a *.bin file type .
But maybe this will full brick the phone which means can't enter download mode . Then we will need a *.blob file to nvflash mode to earse the recovery & kernel partitions to force the phone into fastboot .
#------------------------------------------
echo "Sender.product.model=LG-P880" # (O4X) .
if [ $thanks -eq $pressed ] ; then
thanks_meter=$((${thanks_meter} + 1)) ; fi #Press it
My next attempt (when official JB for UK will be released) is to capture all USB traffic with this:
sourceforge.net/projects/usbsnoop/
Hopefully we could then try to decipher what's the protocol used.
If with the UK version we don't get an unlocked boot loader, I will probably give this phone to my gf and I'll buy a Chinese one, at least they are cheap and I don't need a too powerful phone (I'm not a gamer).

I Guess I could, but in this period I'm quite busy as well (work and courses) so I don't have one day to dedicate to this task.
Hopefully after the next 2 weeks I'll have more time and I could try (but using windows annoys me so much ).

[Q] Q: Back to stock?

So I know XDA is full of answers to this one, but it seems everyone either has some snarky comment like, "they won't check' or whatever. There are also some ok answers and tuts but some of it's confusing and a lot of the threads go off topic. So i'd like to ask, how do i get my phone back to stock? i have to mail my device back in for a warranty exchange as the speakers and camera stopped working suddenly.
My device is stock rooted, odex rom w/ TWRP. unlocked bootloader. Super CID and S-off. Tampered message gone in boot loader. My laptop runs Windows 8, which I'm having an issue getting the HTC manager to stay open for some reason, even after an uninstall/ reinstall of the manager and drivers. The drivers themselves seemed to have installed fine as my device is recognized as "my HTC" though when in fastboot, my comp will tell me the device is unrecognized. Using the stock usb plug that came with my phone and I've plugged in to both usb 3.0 and 2.0 ports. And yes, I do have ADB in the root of my computer, though I'm wondering if i need a different type of ADB since this is the one i used with windows 7 a while back..or does it matter?
I'd like to get things back to stock as much as possible and would be very appreciative. Thanks!
If you know there are answers why not use the search function and find them? There is a thorough guide made by mike1986 so I suggest you find that and go from there...

Thank you very much.
Edit: so I downloaded Android sdk to this comp but something isn't working right? Should i have gotten the one in the "other platforms" list? The one i downloaded didn't say it's was Windows 8 compatible, however the DL in the other list is not OS specific, just says it's for Widows 32 or 64 bit.

I'm afraid you're wrong. Rule 1 from the forum Rules:
"1. Search before posting.
Use one of our search functions before posting, whether you have a question or something new to share, it's very likely someone already asked that question or shared that news"
http://forum.xda-developers.com/announcement.php?a=81
Basically, search first. Chances are it has already been asked and answered - as proven in gee2012's post...
Reading your OP would indicate you know the answer is out there but can't be bothered to search - hence my first reply

Learn to read an comprehend. Obviously when I said I know i can search, then gave an indication of what was found, then that means I did search, and of course, that's what i found. But instead, you prefer to go the route that i also indicated, and chose to be snarky and rude, rather than just no answer the question at all. But thank you very much for wasting your time and mine by being as such.
Easy method: flash RUU and use revone to relock and
fastboot oem writesecureflag 3
More tricky
adb getvar version-main
Post answer here.

I am not very familiar with Myth Tools but my #1 rule when it comes to XDA is "Read Everything" and this is the very first thing on their thread, it says, "BE SURE YOU ARE UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER BEFORE FLASHING..." -- It really can't be much more explicit than that.
With regards to saving your device, my recommendation would be to try to unlock your bootloader if you still can. If you're able to boot to the bootloader (from powered-off state hold down power+vol up+vol down) then you may be able to salvage the device. Make sure you read all of the instructions that come with the unlocking tool because when it comes to these types of tools, it is very important that you educate yourself before you go and fiddle around with the software because if you don't know what you're doing, it's very easy to end up with a brick on your hands. I'm very sorry that you had to learn that the hard way (we've all been there) but I'm sure it will be a valuable lesson that you take with you for next time. Here is the link to the bootloader unlocking tool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2226504

Question Help about flashing Oxygen OS to Chinese Oneplus 10 Pro

I know that there are so many threads about this, but in every thread everyone is talking different.
I want to just know, which is the tested method to flash European ROM to Chinese phone?
I also dont have a proper link for european rom ( I have seen some people flashing Indian rom and what is difference between indian and european?)
So lads please help me, I dont want to brick my phone, because there are no OP support team near my country. So it would be a garbage.
By personal experience, don't do that.
My phone is just bricked from just trying to flash the same rom again.
I've always did on my htc, xiaomi, samsung and many others and OnePLus 10 pro was the first one to give me problem. If you get in a state that you need to run fastboot flashing unlock_critical and for some reason your device reset then it's dead with no chance to recover.
There is no tool available to us that can recover from that. The phone don't turn on screen, it's not recognized by the computer and even on the charger it just don't turn on. So completely dead.
The best way is to just buy the model NE2213, that comes with a global rom.

Get Fastboot Enhanced & files needed to access adb/fastboot from computer. Unlock Bootloader. Download the OOS ROM you want then extract the file you need for Fastboot Enhanced. Make sure no cow files exist on device with Fastboot Enhanced and then if all checks out you flash.
I've kept this very vague because like you've mentioned there are a few different tutorials explaining (including mine here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...lobal-rom-region-change.4462591/post-87151395) but the basic steps I quickly explained should exist in them all. You'll just need to find one you can follow that makes the most sense to you!
I personally used NE2213 on my device that I converted from NE2210 and am using that device to reply to this thread. I am in Canada and this is Chinese Model OP10 Pro and all works fine on my end. Hopefully you can accomplish the same for yourself if this is your intention.

If you can make sense of all the steps then go for it lol. My tutorial is more of a gathering of others work put together in a way that I hoped others could follow. I didn't want to re re re make another tutorial from scratch as your already seeing how confusing and inconsistent having so many guides can be!
I typically use Oxygen Updater on the PlayStore. Then in settings I'll do this (check photo). Then go back to the first page of application and you should see a download option (also check photo). Once you've downloaded the file just transfer it to the computer and you should be good to go. This is usually how I get the files...
Thanks so much, You made a great job lad.
Will try when I get a phone and I will let you know how it goes.

Just remember to keep reading over everything while you wait for your phone. Make sure to check everything over and over and just read all the threads here on XDA to get an understanding for what everyone else has done (the good and the bad) to ensure you yourself don't make any mistakes when the time comes.
I have the Chinese Model also and don't even understand one word let alone writing in the language but this is the phone I got and I gotta make it work so I can relate to your situation with buying it already and it being too late to change your mind lol.
my mind is blowing, everyday reading so much failures and bricked phones thats not good for mental health.
planned to go with your guide step by step and pray same time, maybe that helps lol
