Hi Guys,
i have installed the ported Honami Launcher from our Themes section, it worked very fine.
Until I restarted my phone there are lots of foce closes and cant use it.
I renamed the original home.apk into home.apk.old and copied the new one in to system/app and set the permissions to rw.r.r and installed the app.
Has anyone an idea?

Hi,
FYI root is not mandatory for using a 3rd party launcher...
Anyways, just install the desired launcher app as you normally install an APK
> go to settings
>display
>default launcher
>select the launcher you have installed
>click the Home button..
That's it...
:good:

Yes it is. I thought Xperia Launchers need proper framework and stuff to make it work. I tried installing just by the APK itself and it has problems. Pushing the needed framework files solved it though.

Hey guys, so I wanted to install the z3 launcher by moving the apk to system/app folder but xperia home keeps crashing. I just need the original z1 launcher and the widgets(Clock and Weather) to fix it but I can't find them. Can anybody provide me these apps or a link?

follow this: http://www.gizmobolt.com/2014/03/05/install-xperia-z2-home-6-2-1-0-1-android-4-4-2-kitkat-launcher/
(z2 launcher is simply the same as the z1 launcher )
OR
flash the stock firmware again with flashtool but uncheck all 3 boxes at wipe if you want to keep your data
