As a side effect of working on AOSP 4.4, I had to compile a new version of CWM, as our old doesn't support the 4.4 updater script.
So I compiled the new CWM, but also with touch functionality, as it is way easier to use than the one with hardware buttons
So this is the latest CWM touch for our device, version 6.0.4.4. This recovery is 100% 4.4, a.k.a. KitKat compatible.
I will try to always keep it on the newest version, but in case I might forget it, just remind me
Installation
Either flash the uploaded recovery image via fastboot: (DL from HERE)
Code:
fastboot flash recovery CWM_T_6.0.4.4.img
Or flash the uploaded update zip via CWM or TWRP (DL from HERE)
Happy flashing

Actually, no
I needed a new recovery to flash 4.4 AOSP, and I don't like not having a touch recovery, so I compiled this one
And about KK, I am working on it, but it really is a pain...
I don't know what google did, but 4.3 took about 1h for compiling, 4.4 takes 2....
EDIT: Added DL links to the OP
thanks for new CWM. Unfortunately just after flashing it i found my TWRP backups now are useless

Update 1: WiFi doesn't work, signal indicator is not acurate, no Google accounts and syncing, installed Play Store from apk and won't work, keyboard doesn't work (might not be installed). Apps and Widgets look much better and the phone seems pretty smooth, when I turned it on for the fist time I got to the initial setup but the phone rebooted, it also froze and rebooted when using the preinstalled app "Widevine Demo". I also installed "Trebuchet" but it won't let me change any launcher settings (looks much better in my opinion and saves more space).
thanks atrix and atrix 4g ???
Can we get a proper MD5 checksum on that archive, please?

If press G and Volum plus and Power button hit it into LG Recovery Mode. Then enter in command line on Win 7 adb devices and see List of Devices Attached, serial number my device, recovery.
Is it possible to do something about it? It may be possible flash CWM or replace LG recovery change to CWM? May be unlock bootloader so from command line?
Thanx and sorry for my English.

I know is it. I am about this other. If there is LG recovery, may be to use it for otherwise.
don't bother about lg recovery
if you want flashable roms in zip(such as izs, zeus, nooby's repack,...) just use cwm
leave that one for times when you need to unroot etc

All of those files weight about 800MB, and on few MB and I can't restore from those files. Im using CWMR 6.0.1.4 non-touch, CM10.1 latest nigty on my P970.
Thank for any advices solving problem.

Important!
I have no relationship to the creation of this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2132667 so as long as I can not post in Dev section because of the small number of posts, but our team has developed this method to 4pda and it really working 100%. This way you can not kill the phone. With this method, you can change the kernel.
Hi there,
I just seacherd for dual booting at the 4x but found noting...
So is there an way to get a dualbooting system?
The developer scene for our phone is in the early stages and before we should think about dual boot we should go for completely stable ROMs and kernels

What do you think? Can't you see all the threads in the Development forums full of Dual-Boot discussions and solutions?
The O3D dual boot (but from SD , not internal) should work . But didn't try it (I don't have O4X) .
Google changed the mount point of the internal SD from /sdcard to /data/media .This made the dual-boot semi impossible from internal (because it has been EXT4 not FAT32) but if you have external SD dual-boot should be easy .

Boot manager is a good solution for dual boot, if you have lot of space in sd, then it should work, check the compability list. Used to work with my evo.

Haha, I literally just sent a pm to kholk asking for a bit of help porting the kexec patch to this device. When ive got some time im gonna have a look into porting ubuntu touch (to be honest im completely new with porting roms etc, i just need the know how) shame that the previous attempers files are down, would be much easier to work from them.
But many thanks mate!

Yes! the inners of multiboot are working from a kexec call, this allows you boot into a kernel, load a new kernel into memory then reboot straight into the new kernel (to the same effect as flashing another kernel via recovery but when you reboot again you reboot back into the original kernel) so yes it is confusing

Performance doesn't decrease. Second, third, ... roms are stored on the NAND, access speed is the same.
