Does the moto x come with a pre installed screen protector. It seems as if the one out of the box has one underneath the one installed out of box? Is this true? Mine phone is rogers.

No. It has some sort of a factory protective film but nothing that you would want to leave on permanently.

I buy screenguards from ebay and have just ordered a matte anti glare version. I also bought a couple of different cases over the last few months. Just do a search if you're looking for accessories for your GT540

Thanks. I'm in need of replacement housing though. I've checked eBay but they are so damn expensive

One question, if i have some scratches on my screen and if i apply screenguard on it, will it make those scratches visualy disapear when the screenguard is put on ?
No, they are visible on the screen, after you put screen guard

Do screen protectors for our phone exist in kiosk yet or do cellular stores apply them for you? I just want one that's barely noticeable and I suck at putting them on. All help appreciated!
Need to get a screen protector put on today. Which retailer have you found has the best?

Does anybody know if the Seidio surface case still fits with a bodyguardz pure glass screen protector installed?

if you mean this one then i would think it should. mine fits along the inner edge of the bezel so it shouldn't interfere with the surface...
Unfortunate for me it wouldn't fit after installing the pure. Luckily I had a different case.

I've had horrible luck with the body guardz screen protector and cases that I have gotten offline and online.

Hi all, do you use protector skin on the back of Moto X Developer Edition? I am asking for suggestions to use wood skin protector on my device.

Went into best buy mobile yesterday at our mall and they had the quickwindow cases down to 14.99, from 49.99. Picked one up, nice and thin and protects the front too. The window apps are nice too. Just a heads up in case you're looking for one.

I remembering reading once that the silver trim of the quickwindow would sit directly on the screen and overtime scratch it. Could you observe if this is true?

I heard that too but my friend has the quickwindow case and put a screen protector on the main screen which solved any scratching problems.

Still seems like a huge design flaw to me.

I purchased a used G2 off of criaglist that came with the quickwindow case. Upon first glance, you don't notice it. But after going outside and turning the screen at certain angles, you can definitely see some very fine surface scratching on the screen where the trim meets the glass. No matter how much I cleaned the screen, it didn't go away. So yes, it definitely scratches the screen over time. Now, I put a screen protector on it (which the previous owner didnt), and you can't see the scratches anymore. However, the silver trim started scratching the screen protector too. So now I just use a completely different case.
I can confirm that, bought mine for 3-5€ on ebay (because I wanted the blue one) and after a month I noticed tiny scratches when holding the phone under the sun. I'm not using the case anymore, well I should have, shattered the screen a week ago :silly:, but when I return it from repair
I try to fix the case by sticking something more smooth on the metal rim, but I still don't have any idea what would do the trick without looking too bad.
i don't recommend it. scratched my screen..
