Hi, I just flashed Jelly Bean on my Xperia T and I noticed that the lockscreen wallpaper is not fullscreen. It has the on-screen buttons empty black space. I saw a Xperia Z and ti does have the wallpaper with fullscreen. Do you know how to enable it?
Thanks!

I would like to know about this too. Makes it look like you have a small screen.
Yes, if you use full screen app, lock screen is on fullscreen with status bar, but without black line for nav buttons.
See picture in link.

This is app Full Screen toggle V2: Just install apk and click on disable navbar, restart and you will be without navigation buttons.
If you want to back nav buttons, just enable it in FullScreen toggle app and restart.
Don't forget before install FullScreen Toggle V2, to install other app, that show soft buttons on the screen like Button Savior or other from Play Store,

Actually this did work on mine. I had enabled it then disabled it again before restart. And i thought the xperia Z had fullscreen lockscreen
there's a simple workaround that you add this line to build.prop and nav bar will be disabled
qemu.hw.mainkeys=1
if you want to get nav bar again, just change 1 > 0
Hello all,
For a theme that I'm working on, I would like to trigger a widget (UCCW and DVR) by using a swipe action from the side. Also, I would like to specify a certain hotspot where that swipe gesture triggers the widget and a second swipe should hide it again.
I think it would be to much to ask for to have the way the widget appears to be animated.
I have already tried SwipeStart from the Play store but that does not have lot of customization and isn't very fluid.
Is there a way to accomplish this?
Thank you in advance
Hi all!
I'm looking for something (tweak, setting, anything) that allow me to not see the navigation buttons (back, home, recent) when in the lockscreen (with widgetlocker).
Is there any way to do so? I saw that there is an option to not show the notification bar and this is great, but I'm still annoyed by the navigation one...
If you have an idea, please reply.
Thanks.
Ok I found it in the Root helper options...
But now I would like to be able to use this new free space in my lockscreen... Possible?
Hello,
Do someone know how to remove the menu bar at the bottom of the screen? I mean the bar with the 'home' , 'back', and 'windows' icons. It takes a lot of space and makes the screen look a lot smaller than 5".
Help?

Are you being serious?
So how do you plan to navigate around your phone, they are nav keys for your phone, they are there because there are no hardware ones, without them you phone is pretty much useless to use.
You can buy apps of playstore which hide the keys I have used GMD auto hide soft keys there is a free one to try the paid version has quite a few more settings, there are ROM's that have smaller keys
root, install xposed module and then set navigation bar to 0
Then you can use gravity box with pie controls
Lol, of course not that way. I meant that i wanted to hide the bar in some kind of way. Do you think they will make it less visible in their future updates. Especially when Iæm watching a movie its quite annoying. If they are not going to fix it, they shouldn't say that the screen is 5". It takes a lot of the user experience away. In addition the Z1's screen is way smaller than the G2, if the bar cannot be invisible of some sort.
Do you think this will be fixed in the future updates?
You can remove nav bar like Greg just said and install app from app store...
MARKET LINK
This app will hide navigation bar when you don't need it or just want to make it smaller...

You can also use LMT as a replacement for the nav bar

Like someone just said using xposed installer with gravity box you can reduce the size of the navbar, but you will need root.
There is also an app called fullscreen in the play store that allows you to get rid of it and have icons in the corners of your screen instead.

Just installed 4.3 and root, but cant get rid of the sony nav bar using my usual method (fullscreen toggle app).
is this a 4.3 related issue? full screen toggle requested root permissions when i launched it, but when i select disable nav bar and reboot, the sony nav bar is still present? Anyone any ideas?
I much prefer button saviour for nav buttons, so i maximise screen real estate and swipe to access nav buttons
i am running Stock up including clock face but with NULL_18 as base for extra benefits.
how can i quickly see the battery status like what i see when i plug it in?
currently i have to go to Settings > Battery which is not quick and easy.
i had used the Watch Style app where you can get faces with battery but it seemed to use more battery and i like Stock look.
thanks for any suggestions.

When I double-tap, the status bar shows up. The problem is now when I load a full-screen app, the status bar is always there at the top. How do I go back to hiding the status bar at all times?

I use GMD gesture control to create a gesture to toggle the status bar on and off

Thanks, I'll check out GMD. In the meantime, is there a setting somewhere to revert back to the no-statusbar UI?

Are you looking for a setting to switch back to the original tw launcher or for use in the nova launcher? To set touch whizz as the default launcher just go to nova settings and it's the first option, select touch whizz, switch the screen of and use the twisting arm wake gesture to select home. If you're looking at changing the nova settings it might be an idea to reflash null and not check full ui in the aroma options. I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for though. It's a bit late here and I'm a bit frazzled

I'm in the TouchWiz launcher / shell, which is nice. No issue there. My problem is I two-finger tapped or double-tapped the screen to try gestures, and the status bar appeared at the top, showing the battery %, time, Bluetooth icon, etc. I now have no way to make this status bar disappear at the top. For example, I see it when I'm in Settings, or in the root browser, or any custom app.
It seems the two-finger tap toggled it on, but there is no way to toggle it off. Where is the setting to turn it off?

That's not the two finger toggle. The two finger toggle on stock or null without full system ui is a shortcut to brightness/volume and battery screen. Sounds like you've selected full system ui in the aroma settings. I can't see any options to switch off the status bar in apps. You can turn it off on the nova launcher with nova settings but that doesn't apply to apps. You can try flashing the Rom again and uncheck the full status ui and see if the status bar is still present in third party apps or you can download another third party app to control things like the status bar in apps. There's a list of third party apps you could use in the help sticky null_/free falling theme..... It's under notifications icons/soft buttons
