How to remove the carrier label on notification? - Moto X Q&A

I really hate it and it takes so many space!
Anybody knows how to do it without using the motoxpose ( doesn't perform good with gravitybox).
Thanks in advance!

unfortunately it is not.

Which model of phone do you have? The tmobile version does not show the provider in the upper left. You may be able to flash it in place of your stock firmware.

Uninstall DMCommandService.apk, EPST.apk, Fieldtrial.apk, HtcOMADM_SettingsPlugin_SPCS.apk , HtcOMADM_SPCS.apk , HTCSprintservice.apk
Modify the line in system/costumize/AAC/default.xml sku_id 42 to 10.
Your phone will be exactly as a GSM phone. All the Sprint junk will be gone

Heres a snapshot
Ive just done a factory install to take me right back as im not that keen on the KitKat update it took away all my apps that needed root and loads of stuff that was on the phone as there's little or no chance of now rooting the phone at this moment in time its up for sale hence the cleansweep

What? There's a few ways of rooting. It just requires downgrading to an earlier firmware version if you don't want to unlock your bootloader.
Or did you mean there's no easy "one-click" solution? That's a completely different thing to there being "no chance".

That stuff is on chinese version of the rom. Maybe there is apk file in chinese firmware which you could extract from chinese firmware cust folder.

You flash the original firmware to the phone using Odin.

One of a number of how-to returns on a search: https://www.androidsage.com/2017/04...lus-with-latest-stock-nougat-firmware-update/ . No affiliation and not familiar with this site, but I've Odin-ed a number of Galaxy devices over the years.

Can't you just do a factory reset? That will wipe your data and you phone will like when you first turned it on.

My apology if I'm misunderstanding what you're looking for, but I've typically downloaded Sammy firmware from here https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ .
So has there been any answers to this? Im on Verizon and took the OTA.. Looking to flash with Odin to original out of box qd9 from Sam mobile I believe. Can this be done without issues?
