S-Voice on Htc Vivid

I Just installed the S-Voice app on my Vivid, which works great,with some minor hiccups hereand there...btw i went ahead and installed the app despite saying i need a rooted phone, which in my case i didnt.
So i Was wonderin, howz its workin for you guys who had a chance to install it..my opinion, Siri works way better...
I Uploaded some sshots too..and just for the fun of it, i asked which was the best cell phone..

Probably won't be working for too long. Vlingo and Samsung are quickly building a blacklist unfortunately.

Installation instructions -
First try to install as normal .apk
If not installed and you have vlingo installed, delete vlingo.apk from data/app and paste voicetalk.apk and set permissions

Make sure you on the 4.0 or above...wouldnt work with anythin besides ICS!!

Here you go guys for anyone having issues with the s voice giving them the network error. Use this .zip instead. That would mean delete the s voice you now have and flash this one in a custom recovery.

This may not work with TWRP. I had to put all the files that are located in the zip on the phone manually. And in the end i had no luck idk what i might have been doing wrong but you can check the og forum post if what i posted didnt work.

I actually did try that one already. I also tried changing my build.prop. I personally just gave up spent like4 hrs trying to do it with no success so I'm done I wouldn't have used it much anyways. just wanted to try it out.

It didn't work for me. I'm just supposed to install it right? nothing special? as I still get server error.

Installed but not working for me :/ I try to change how it wakes up and it force closes and won't really open
EDIT: FIXED it now opens and does most features

on Dark Raider Rom using Kozmickkick's OC kernal using XDA

Works great for me. The wake-up command doesn't do anything unless I'm in the app but you can press and hold the search button and it will prompt to be the default if you want it to. I'm running stock ICS not rooted and its fine.
I snagged the APK from the 'Themes and Apps' section.

Yes the only change I've got is when on an app page you now see a facebook button to share the app directly on facebook.

Well, it'll only update new elements on your currently installed apps. It'll save bandwidth and will update fast on slow connections. This update is also going to be rolled out for Gingerbread.

It seems that many of the new features can only be seen in US-based handsets. Someone in the UK tried it and it looked the same to him as well. Can someone in the US post a screenshot?

I got MyXperia(TM) via OTA today and its a stolen phone locator service from Sony https://myxperia.sonymobile.com
It has GPS location shown on a map-, "lost my phone message" on lock-screen, 60 second sound/alarm push, lock the device and erase phone and memory card.
I think it works well so far.
Install as regular apk or change your custom no# 1268-6904 in build.prop and get it via OTA.
Ps. Why do you take it from here and call it your own leak?

You could also try fetching the APK from your /system/app directory.

Install the apk that was posted, and activate through the menu item that has been repeated several times.

Installation
Make sure all instances of Gmail are removed from both data/app & system/app.
Download and run installable apk. (install like any other apk) -OR- copy and paste to either data/app or system/app

It will be updated regularly the same as the others I do. It usually takes about a week though only because I have to get to it.....that's the hardest part.

Has anyone managed to pull the HTC Task Manager app from sense 5.5 yet? I've been hunting for that app literally for years, ever since it disappeared from my old cdma HTC Hero. The HTC File Manager/Task Manager are 2 unappreciated apps that I really miss from my Hero.
I'm dev unlocked but on stock unrooted 4.3 sense 5.0 for stability for work. I would HUGELY appreciate anyone who could hunt down a sideloadable apk..

Hey Everyone.I know what it feels like if u dont have task manager it drains ur battery and everything probably mind too. So I have pulled this Task Manager from ViperX+ 2.1.1.Thanks to m0narx for backporting Task Manager for Sense5 4.2.2.
Installation=Push this app to "system/app" and give the permissions "rw-r--r--".And Thats It reboot ur phone and BOOM you have Task manager.
