Don't have Sprint personally,
this is a flashable .zip for Sprint customers who aren't getting data in AOSP ROMs.

This is an issue again? (Again meaning, on my Sprint HTC One I have to fiddle with the APN's to get LTE) Dang man, and I was looking forward to CM11, (I'm still gonna flash it, lol) guess you can't win'em all.
Y is this thread created? when the fix is already published??

Im new to this site so im hoping I put this in the right fourm.

No. We are mainly working on the cricKet ZIO. We don't have any sprint developers as far as I know.

If i can get my hands on a good clean rom and a clockwork fastboot img that actually works i will make a rom for you guys. Help me help you
Smooth, if our recovery does not work. Google "My brain hurts" for porting clockworkmod recovery to new devices.

Well, if you want to develop on the cricKet 2.2 system, I can test away and if I brick... Oh well. Gotta love leaked updates.

Check the development section of the ZIO forums, I have uploaded the cricKet 2.2.1 boot, recovery, and system images in one convienent zip file.
I'm also here Sprint Zio owner not afraid to brick if need be I'm not really experienced but I have been lurking here and many other forums soaking up as much info as I can but there isn't a whole lot of support for Sprint Zio's I really want to change that. You guys can get me either on aim @ xbhattx or pm me or email me @ [email protected]. I'm currently working on the boot image for Sprint but ran into trouble with clockworkmod recovery, when I tried to open the cmd prompt in dev tools it would not open perhaps a simple mistake but can't seem to figure out what I am missing. But any help I can be just let me know I am always available!

Hello, Im Ryan, Hey do u think u could help me? I have a Sanyo Zio, and I tried to update from Android Ver. 2.2 to Ver. 2.3, and when I got to the point to backup rom and restart in recovery, the phone wouldn't get past the "Sanyo" screen, flashing off and on, til I held down the volume up/end call buttons, and now it's back on, but stuck in roaming??? plz help!!! I am not tech Savvy!!!
There is no 2.3 update for the ZIO as of yet, and I've seen you spam this over the forum. If you expect to get help, post ONE very informative post in the general section, and wait patiently for a response. Spamming will only get you yelled at or ignored altogether.

Sprint Zio Android 2.3 ROM
Six months have passed! There is still no firmware 2.3 for the Sprint Zio? not true!
Please anyone knows, share information!
I understand that there will still have to be a flashing process, but I'm in the works of building a performance-oriented, CM7.1-based ROM that minimizes the in-ROM customizations needed for a full flash. Some of the features/customizations I have working currently are:
- Working cricKet APN, selected by default, just add your phone number
- Green Droid bootanimation
- ChevyNo1 0.8Ghz Ultra Low Voltage kernel
- Performance-oriented build.prop
- De-throttled services.jar (no data throttling and faster max speeds!)
The customizations I need help with are:
- Making the carrier in the 'about phone' section of settings.apk read 'cricKet'
- Having market.apk recognize the carrier as cricKet and enable downloads of cricKet-only apps.
I am still building, and this is all very early on, so I'm accepting ideas and help wherever I can get it. Rest assured; credit will be given where credit is due.

GPS Fix for De-Sensed roms like Wajee's
Very simple .so file fix. Specific for Holiday devices so it's not only for one carrier type.
Not my work, I found it over on Rootz and they didn't have credit either
Lol it was fixed by me. I believe you didn't noticed the poster. . Thanks for sharing
Sent from my HTC PH39100 using xda premium
someone posted it under another rom saying i'd fix the problem.
But thanks for the flashable version!
I take no credit for this just thought it would be helpful to stimulate some development for the T mobile Galaxy note.
Id like to thank the DEV's over at AOCP for allowing me to do this write up and use of cross links. they are found here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1773229 as well as tomin.fhl for some insite as well as files he is found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1837907
Again i am not a DEV and just wanted to do a write up to show it is possible.
What you will need
*ATT Galaxy Note SGH-I717 TWRP http://teamw.in/project/twrp2/96
*AOCP http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1773229
* TMobile Modem https://www.onlinefilefolder.com/3sO3MvY67FK1gR
* ICS Gapps http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip
INSTRUCTONS:
1) Install the ATT version of TWRP to your tmobile note. Follow the instructions in the link to install.
2) Create a back up of your current rom which utilizes Tmobiles BOOT.IMG (Note without this back up you will have to get into Download mode and flash boot.img through odin. The file for this is here https://www.onlinefilefolder.com/3sKTF2WTt5njq0 thanks to tomin.fhl for the link.
3) Place files on phone ROM,Gapps,TMobile modem on sd card ( internal sd perferred)
4) Clear everything system, factory reset, cache (note dont clear sd card or you will lose files on your *SD YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED*
5) Flash AOCP 2.1 which is the Icecream Sandwhich build *NOT THE JELLYBEAN BUILD* after flash is finished return to home menu of TWRP
6) From TWRP menu select restore and select the rom with the tmobile boot.img ( now when asked to restore make sure that the only box checked is the BOOT box( if you restore completely you will end up with the ROM you backed up origanlly.
7) Once the boot.img is restored, flash the tmobile modem/radio this will allow you to use data ect. on the rom.
8) Flash the ICS Gapps to allow access to android market
9) Now reboot phone. (note: there is no boot animation. instead there will be just a black screen. Dont freak out and have patience and the Rom will boot up.
CONCLUSION:
what you end up with is a very stable barebones version of stock android ICS with no bloat
*Known Issues*
External Sd is not found for some reason
Good job.
Thanks for spreading the AoCP love.

No problem I would love to build from scratch simply don't have the coding knowledge. That's what's great about Android someone with little experience can try to do something and learn so much in the process. Again the original devs at AOCP are the ones who deserve all credit and even donations maybe we can convince some devs to port to our notes and really get the ball rolling

Also since this is almost aokp don't expect slot of original spen integration I think heard somewhere it has to do with the sensitivity of the screen

Just a quick one from the unwashed....will this work with most any i717 ICS ROM?
And thanks for putting this together, it's really neat.

Never say never.
In open source android so many times I've seen "won't never happen"
But then of dose.
Where there is a will there's a way.
If some one had asked last week could they get AoCP T-Mobile note. I would have replyed "I don't have that device so I don't intend on building for it, and have no time to do a blind port" and then it would have been stated "the devs said they got no plans to make it happen ever"
But look at this here.

Great work .glad to see some love over here.
Edit:never say never as I never thought I could build a ROM but have been residing a lot and working with the team and now can build one from source we all start some where.

I think most ICS ROMs will work, just remember to flash the T-Mobile kernel (the boot.img, also, the T-Mo radio files if the ROM includes AT&T radio) over the top or else it won't boot.
been using this rom since it was posted yesterday. so far no problems at all.
super fast and sexy. no bloat.
only thing missing of course is WIFI-CALLING but that's to be expected since it's an ATT rom.
only other thing is TMO visual voice mail which can be had from the market anyways.
excellent slimmed down rom, thanks again for posting this! :victory:
Forgot to mention that the response time is incredible. I use my phablet with Sketchbook mobile and Sketchbook pro and Sketchbook mobile is blazing. Sketchbook pro is a little slow but that's probably a hwa issue. I use that one mainly on my regular sized tablet.
Loving it.

Yes this is a pretty sweet ROM if only we could.get the external sd to work. Jonson the original Dec told me it had to do with a difference in the kernels bit I have no knowledge of kernel work

I'm not sure

Cm 10 got the ex. Sd to mount anyway to get it to work here as well
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
I can't get external sd to mount either. Is it working for anyone?
use darkside super wipe
use dark side super wipe ext 4 find on cm 10 before you flash the rom that will help to mount the sd card
I'm going from my Moto X to HTC one tomorrow was wondering if all ROMS are compatible with all M7 models I have Sprint And was seeing if i could flash the 6 sense Roms

Depends on the ROM developer. If the developer states that the Sprint is supported, cool. If not, DON'T FLASH.
Search for ROMs in the Sprint HTC One forum(there is a separate forum for Sprint). You were asking for a Sense 6 rom for Sprint,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2694171
More roms will come as time progresses
Most Roms have a different download for the Sprint M7. Defiantly make sure you use it only if it says its for Sprint.
