is there a way to take out the "swipe up or down to unlock" instruction on the lockscreen?
I tried using lockwidget, but it made the lockscreen smaller, as there were the navigation buttons.
Toy can disable the lock screen in settings / security?

Hi, I'm using slim 4.0, I like the 4 prong app selector lock screen but would like to use, prior to that screen, an actual lock screen like the pattern to make my phone slightly more secure. Is this possible? How?
Thanks much,

It's possible to have the Slim lock screen as well as the pattern. To activate the pattern lock screen, go to Settings and then Security then pick Pattern under the Screen lock section. Then go back to Settings and ASS (Advanced Slim Settings) and pick the Lockscreen options and scroll down near the bottom and check Show lockscreen before unlock.
It will show the Slim screen where you can select one of your four apps, but to launch the app you will need to draw the pattern. I realize that this doesn't exactly answer your question since you wanted the pattern before Slim, but it will still make your phone more secure by requiring the pattern to fully unlock the phone.
Hi. Does anybody know how to make status bar hidden while on action launcher using Sentinel rom?

There is a Xposed module called app settings, which also have a full screen option per app
Thank you! Only downside is that when full screen mode is enabled, you can't access the quick settings or notification shade with shortcuts using pie. It will do until pie mode is made for my rom!

Don't know exactly what you mean or which pie app you use. But with LMT pie, you can set pie or swipe commands for quick settings or accessing the notificationbar as far as I know.
Yes this is true, but when the status bar is hidden by the xposed module, the settings and notification shade don't come down until I open an app that doesn't have the status bar hidden. If that makes sense? Haha

Tried it. The full screen app seems to force itself on top, so when you set a swip command for the statusbar it does come down, but because the full screen app forces itself on top it's behind the app. When you close the app it's there. That's some kind of funny
I'm using the GEL and am on Kit Kat. I'm trying to use NILS instead of the Active Display for my lockscreen to give me more information at a glance.
I cannot figure out how to add a lock screen widget. I've looked online but none of the directions work. I've turned active display off. If I go to the lockscreen and try sliding from the left edge, the clock rotates a little but that is all it odes. If I slide from the right edge of the lockscreen, the camera app starts. I see no other way to add or change lockscreen widgets.
Any ideas?
Go to settings/security and check the box next to enable widgets.

So I tried a few aozp Roms and came back to a stock based ROM due to issues. One thing I love about the aosp Roms is the lock screen notifications. I tried nils lock screen and while it is similar I am unable to tap the notification and go right to the app. I still have to swipe to unlock my phone.
Has anyone found a tweak or app that will do that; tap the lock screen notification and then go right into the app.

Does any one know any thing about lockscreen widgets feature that we read about and never saw it
Try to swipe to the left from your lockscreen, you will see a + icon. (Also by swiping to the right will launch the camera app).

I tried a lot but nothing happened is there some settings I should set first?(I know about the camera it's working good)
Lockscreen widgets is disabled by default. To enable it, simply go to settings>security>under screen settings you will see an option called "turn on widgets". Tap it to turn on.
