I booted my kindle fire into fast-boot mode and ran KFU. I chose option 2 to root the kindle and at the same time kfu installed TWRP recovery. My kindle proceeded to reboot but the kindle logo never showed up and since then it showed no sign of power. I tried the wall charger and i tried the hard reset. None of them worked. What do i do now?
If it was a 2nd gen kindle its hard bricked, that tool is not for use with 2nd gen kindles. See if you can send it back to amazon for a replacement. Just tell them it won't turn on.

i have a kindle fire hd 7
Its hard bricked then, we have a really complicated method of fixing it in the works that works on the kf2, but if your kindle's under warranty still I suggest getting a free replacement, because we still don't have the method even worked out on the kfhd's yet.

Hi
I have almost zero knowledge on android devices. Recently I wanted to install jelly beans on my kindle fire. I followed a "how to..." video. Using Kindle Fire Utility Kit, I first rooted my tablet, then installed google apps and then I installed TWRP. Using TWRP I installed a jelly bean (CM10) ROM. But, in this process, I did not back up my original kindle fire OS. The installation was successful. But, I wanted to go back to Kindle fire's original OS. So, I sent kindle fire OS 6.3.1 upgrade (by changing the extension to .zip from .bin) to the root. Then using TWRP, I installed kindle fire 6.3.1.
Now, the kindle fire home screen appears, couple of error message pop us (Sorry! The application Calendar Storage (process com.android.providers.calendar) has stopped unexpectedly. ) and then reboots. It goes on and on. I can no longer access TWRP. WhenI try to reroot the device, the program in my computer just sits indefinitely waiting for the device.
So, folks, is there a way, I can get my back tablet? Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.
What device exactly do you have kindle fire or kindle fire HD? If first, it's a wrong forum, if other... there are no custom recovery for HD yet, so try to do a factory reset first.

I had Nova Launcher on and deleted it, when my Kindle rebooted I was greeted by a black screen that said "your kindle doesnt seem able to boot, try rebooting or restore your device."
I tried restoring but it just goes back to the kindle fire logo then back to the "Your kindle doesnt seem able to boot" screen.
Anyone know how to fix then. It is rooted.
thanks

Look in the Kindle Fire 7" HD Development section. There is a system recovery tool for the HD 7". Its not a recovery like clockwork mod or twrp.

Thanks for replying. No all it does is go to the normal logo for a couple of seconds, turns off and starts again.
Odd, well u should just need a fastboot cable to fix since u can't get into twrp. Once you do that its just a simple matter of reflashing some images.

My Kindle Fire 2 logo turns blue and bootloops non stop. I've tried everything I can find, but most forum help says I need my computer to recognize the device, which it won't. any ideas?
Try turning it on and holding volume up before the logo turns blue, it should go into twrp where you can use my tutorial to push a ROM onto the sdcard.

Yes i did factory reset. It gets stuck on the blue logo
Maybe a selinux error, but it shouldn't be, considering amazon os didn't have selinux support. Maybe a bad ROM download or something, because that's odd. If its a selinux error you would have to wipe internal storage with a command via adb. What version of twrp do you have installed?

This is the original Kindle Fire forum. Please go to the appropriate forum for the HD. Stuff here will brick your device for sure.

Buy a fastboot cord and use system restore tool. 4.3 is CM10.2.
