Will Atrix HD work on T-Mobile Network LTE? - Motorola Atrix HD

I have the Motorola Atrix HD MB886 At&t phone and I would like to know if it will work on T-mobile's LTE network since I have checked and it should work on the 4G network.
Motorola Atrix HD(specs): http://www.gsmarena.com/motorola_atrix_hd_mb886-4867.php
Any other information that could be helpful please post it. Thanks guys.

Yes it works. I usually get about 22mb download and 14mb upload speed

Yep! 30-35 down 15 up, in Georgia.

Yes, It will work. However it will most likely drain the battery in about 5 hours, you may consider the EB40 battery mod.

yes this, i turn lte off unless i am tethering.. which then the phone is plugged into usb so its charging.

Thanks you all guys for the help. I have just unlocked my phone and looking forward to joining T-mobile.

I would like to do it but the only video I find doesn't show putting the back of the phone back after eb40 battery is in. So it's not clear and I don't feel like doing it without seeing a good tutorial on it.

Yes battery drain is crazy as for the eb 40 after you trim it out just snap it shut .. I broke my original battery being overzealous. That flex cable is sensitive.

Getting a used thrill, any advice?

I'm going to buy a used LG Thrill here very soon and just wondering if there's anything device specific i should look out for?
i.e. known issues specific to the thrill.

Yeah. Get an extended battery as well.

It really depends on usage.
If you have wifi, gps, bluetooth, and your cell antenna turned on, of course the battery will drain fast.
Then add a bunch of apps with startup permissions and watch it drain a little faster.
I can get through a work day without charging.
The only major issue I see is the lack of support.

Quick question, is there stopped to be a void sticker on any of the screws under the battery cover?

Snapdragon BatteryGuru

Here's a new Qualcomm battery saver app, it looks promising. I haven't downloaded it yet but I'm just about to.

Yeah I'm testing it now
It slows down the internet, apps are taking very long to start loading web data.
But when it starts, it's fine.

Seems to be eating battery even more.
Also it requires location services to be on which I had off by default.
Will give it another couple of days before uninstalling it.

I removed it, I save more battery myself.

Usually, my phone lasts until the end of the day (about 14~18 hours)...
I was hoping this was gonna be better, even if it were just a beta...
I honestly didn't notice a difference with it on my AHD. I got my N4 in the mail friday so I'm I'm giving it a shot on that. The N4 has pretty good battery life by default though, who knows.
BatteryGuru actually eats up more battery life than it helps by waking up your device to change settings. Greenify does what this app is supposed to do and then some. Allows you to pick and choose which apps go into hibernation on screen off and doesn't periodically wake your phone.

I've been on vacation and tweaking my LGOG. Now that I'm back in town I'll take another crack at it. Miss my AHD but the trade up to the Optimus G was definitely worth it. Still gonna show you guys some love since I'm a hardcore Motorola fan. I'm actually working on porting qslide for AHD stock based ROMs.

Shutting down constantly

Hi everyone,
I'm having a Galaxy ExhibitG and it starts to shut down constantly everytime I open too many apps or run something too heavy. And it won't let me power on the phone and even if I can the bettery status went crazy (from 90% to 0% then 20%)
One solution to this is to plug my phone in the charger constantly, but I need to take it to work and school.
The problem actually started to happen after I flashed Linaro CM 10.1 romm by smartguy(for got the number)
Any idea why?
Thank you.
Sounds like you might have a bad battery

Help!!! My phone was hacked!

OK so the weirdest thing happened just now. I was charging my atrix HD when I went on it to check a phone number. Then it started opening apps and going on xda then other apps. I had no control over it. I couldn't even turn it off. I had to do the power and volume down thing to shut off. It was very creepy. I was just looking for a minute while the person did what they did. It was like when a person from dell controls your computer if something isn't working right. At first I thought it was being laggy but no! It kept going settings were changed and the person tried playing music on it! I turned it off before he could but the wierdest part is that I had turned of my wifi and set my phone on airplane mode so it can charge faster. No communication what so ever. Right now its off and I plan to keep it that way until someone can tell me what to do to protect myself. Also this could have been happening before i went to go check my phone. Which was like 15 minutes before I checked it. Please help

Maybe you installed an app that had a RAT or some other virus in it

That's what I'm thinking. A bad app. The likely hood of it being hacked are slim.

android is very hard to hack probably a virus delete data in cwm
Best thing to do is just wipe.
Easy way to do it is to go to Settings->Privacy->Factory Reset
It was probably a bad app.
Click thanks if I helped!

Another thing to be aware of is I've noticed Motorola's screens (at least on the Atrix models) are kind of finnicky. If there's a little bit of moisture around they just start registering touches on their own sometimes.
With my battery life being... less than ideal.. I find myself plugging into all kinds of chargers along my travels. Some non moto chargers make my phone go nuts, exactly like what was described - apps opening etc. Have experienced this several times. Feel the other explanations are possible of course but highly unlikely.

There was a story on the news recently that someone's iPhone was hacked by trying to charge at a public charging station. I would be weary of these charging stations.

Airport WiFi connections are VERY insecure. Basically they monitor everything that goes through. Text messages, calls, anything. Maybe they also have access to control phones?

I agree with above post non oem chargers can make the phone act funny especially the cheap dollar store chargers get an oem cable the you will know that it will work for charging and data.

Extended battery case?

Has anyone found a case that has a battery in it for the X? I don't think I can get this phone if it doesn't have it. Maybe I can request it from the companies that make them for other phones.

i don't think this is possible with this phone unless the case connects to the usb plug. there is no external charging port.

Incipio is supposed to be coming out with The offGRID Thin Battery Case for the Moto X. I'm assuming it's still being worked on because it's the only case left in their series i believe that is not on the market yet. Sorry, i can't post links yet, but the majority of link is below

That's pretty much how all battery cases work. The cases themselves have a usb port you use to charge the case and phone at the same time.

No problem. Anytime...The Moto X is a great phone and I'm glad to see that the 3rd party manufacturers are getting on board with Motorola to really get these accessories out to the many owners of this phone.
Depending on your usage you may not need it. I had a Nexus as well, and used to charge it 3+ times a day. With the X so far I can make it though a full day without issue.

With my phone completely stock and having Wi-F ( never on Wi-Fi though)i, BT, auto brightness etc enabled all the time, I'm getting 4hrs screen time, 1 hour talk with 16hrs off the charger and still ending the day with 20%+ battery life. If I root, debloat and greenify, I'm certain I could get 5+hrs screen 2hrs talk and have more left in that same period... But I'm sticking stock for the time being as it's almost perfect the way it is.
With my sgs3 I'd have to fully charged it sometime early afternoon to use it this much.
