swype input in gmail (only) will not enter space after word - Sprint HTC One (M7)

this is one of those frustrating little things...on my stock One, when using swype in gmail, it will not enter a space after swyping a word. in the settings there is an option to enter a space after swyping. it is checked, but does not work. works in all other data entry fields. I have unchecked, re-checked and yelled at it quite a bit, but nothing seems to help.
any ideas?

Autocomplete Contacts During Sms

Hello here,
I have lost Autocomplete of Contacts when writing a name in the To: Field of an Sms message.
I have Fun Contact installed, which gives the contacts an iPhone type look, since then it's been playing up. I have since uninstalled this, but it still doesn't provide suggestions of names in my contacts list, when I begin to type a name in the To field.
It's very annoying and one of my favourite features of using Sms on Windows Mobile.
Any Suggestions would be really appreciated.
Regards.
Y.
Does other predictive input work fine with your default keyboard? One more thing, when you try entering a contact name, the predictive function searches only for the contacts with numbers entered in the "mobile number" field. Check if your contact has the number there.
Regards,
Carty..
I lost that feature when I installed touch keyboard + keypad from dutty's collection
but after uninstalling them its fine now
Hey Carty,
Thanks, that's something I hadn't checked. My other predictive imput isn't working either. I have an idea why it might be. I downloaded KaiserTweak and, changed quiet a few things with it.
I set the Autocomplete to suggest me 6 words and this option is not available from the Drop down menu in the settings menu Of WordComplete.
It is not working anymore even though I have set them both to 3 words and after entering 3 letters. I have since Soft reset the device? Help would be really appreciated.
Thanks
Found the Answer
As I was saying I had made some changes with the KaiserTeaks app.
One of the changes I had made was to Enable XT9 under the Text Message options.
I realised this just now as I was going through the options and have set it to disable XT9, which is the default and this has fixed the problem
Hope this helps someone out there.
thanks y0u5uf,
will try it out seems like your suggestion is the easiest way out since i installed app like kaiser tweak, touch keyboard+keypad
is there any way that i can erase the words that i have wrote in my predictive text, are they stored somewhere where i can just go into and delete them, i want to start all over??
nvm i got it lol sorry
SMS Input
I have a similar issue. When I enter a character in the "to" field I dont get a list of choices to pick from. BUT, if I hit backspace and erased a character the names and/or numbers pop up.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can fix this?

Searching in contacts

Have a peculiar problem whenever i search for a contact.
i use the phone keyboard with t9.
On a few occasions i get numbers regardless of what letter im typing in, and this is genius because the number 1 gets hit on a-b-c and the number 1 in any number and the letter in any name...
But i cant find å way to figure out how the settings should be for this to be enabled?
This seems to work in the phone log but not for every contact, but as said earlier ive managed to get this function for the entire contact list when fumbling around a bit..
Anyone?

Click to collapse
it depends on where the focus(cursor) is, if it on the list then you'll have digits and search in Contacts, if your cursor in TextBox over the list, then you'll have just T9
So this means there is no way to get this function to f.ex in new/reply sms/mms/email ?

why not ? when you click to the address line you'll see the same windows as in Contacts
ohh, got it now, would still be nice if this var standard and you could just type inn the numbers directly without entering the contact list manually like that if you see what i mean
thanks for clearing things up
For the sms thing, it works for me.. but with the name.
I use Full Keyboard (t9 off).
in the TO: field, I enter V and it shows me the first name starting with V.. as I go on.. it matches the name and usually by the third letter, I have the name I was looking for.
I have set suggest words after 1 letter. Doubt it has anything to do with it, though.

Recipient Autocomplete Not Listing All Names

I thought this would fix itself over time, but it hasn't.
When I text, if I start typing in the name of the person, the HTC Diamond starts to suggest names after two letters. I really like this feature.
Sometime this summer, this stoped working for my wife's name (and you can imagine that a lot of texts go to her!). There were two contacts entries for her, I deleted one and updated the other. Her contact information is updated with ActiveSync correctly. But when I type the letters of her first name, it brings up similar names, but NOT hers.
How can I restore this to the way it was working without a hard reset?
Thanks.
I tried deleting her contact completely, syncing, adding her contact back in, syncing. Then went to text and typed in her name but is was not part of the autocomplete choices.
What is going on; is there a limit to the number of autocomplete names? Are all my new contacts being turncated out? (I have 1325 contacts).
Thanks in advance for any and all assitance.

LinkedIn Application

Just downloaded the LinkedIn application on my XOOM and when attempting to input my email and password I will get nothing but blank text when entering my personal information. If you hold down the cursor you can see the input text highlighted, etc. When trying to log in, for myself personally the unit just sits there attempting to connect. Anyone else having these problems by any chance?
Thank you.
this happens to me on one specific website both on xoom and evo.

Yeah, happens to me to. It won't let me enter email/password when I start the app.
Same here. Can't enter in my info.

For me.. I can't see the email or password.. but I was very careful and entered it in anyways.. making sure not to mistype anything.. and it logged me in fine. I think it's defaulting to a white text for entering in information.. and thus on a white screen.. is basically transparent. I think if I tilted the screen at a very steep angle.. I was able to see a little bit.
Also, if you are at the login screen.. touch to the far right of the email window and see if the cursor blinks farther to the right.. you may need to backspace over previous attempts to make sure it writes it in correctly.
But I was able to login and get access to my account.

Did exact same thing and it worked fine

note5 n920v predictive text dictionary

My predictive text is on. But my stock keyboard is not remembering my custom words or email address. If I switch to google keyboard it will work fine. Is anybody else experiencing this problem or know how to solve my problem.
I think I found my answer. I take no credit for this I copied and pasted from android central
1. go to settings, More>Application Manager>(Tab) All> selected Messages> and cleared the data by clicking on Clear Data,
2. Clicked on "More" button, (left touch key beside Home Button") and selected Clear App Preferences.
3. asked me to restart the phone, by shutting down and Removing the battery.
4. restarted, tested, worked.
Settings>application Manager>all (Tab) select Samsung Keyboard> clear Data, I think its working for me as of now.
