[Q] Can't connect to mobile network! - Xperia SP Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I flashed project aoSP on my phone and after that I haven't been able to connect to mobile network. I tried flashing another rom ([ROM]Full Stock CWM Flashable Rom .257[Locked & Unlocked][ODEXED]) but with the same problem.
I have locked bootloader and I can connect to wifi and 2g.
If anyone has an idea how to fix this it would be highly appriciated.
Thanks in advance!

please i need to fix this because my mobile operator requires it to use mobile data

Your company can provide your APN settings, just call them. Or go to APN and copy them to a piece of paper.
i know my problem is the phone isnt saving apn settings properly :/

[Q] XZ won't connect to Mobile Data.

Last night, I accidently soft bricked my XZ, so I flashed the 10.1.1.A.1.307 from Doomlord's Easy Root toolkit again. Only this time, LTE/4G and 3G won't provide a data connection.
I then flashed the Telstra 10.1.A.1.350 ftf, in the hopes that would restore it, but to no avail. I'm currently running the Telstra 253 update via PC companion, just to see if that fixes the issue.
Is there anything I can do to fix it if this doesn't work?
set the correct apn settings for your carrier.
settings > more > mobile networks > access point names > new

Thanks very much! You're a life saver!
the APN setting should always be checked first rather than flashing a new rom

Manually enter your service provider's APN settings.

I set the APN. Done, but can not use 3G.

help me. s3-i9305 2g only no 3g.

flash rom stock + modem cannot. Please help me.
the modem - part related to the mobile operator...frequency and other stuff - that comes with the firmware...is a all in one package now....
after flashing stock(and doing a full wipe) enter recovery(stock one) and you will see a message saying: ...changing CSC to .....
man maybe is network related...once in my town, at my mobile subscriber the 3G network went down...PANIC....i had my phone on 3G only and didn't know why can't make call...was expecting a important call... 2G still worked(realized much later)...

no cellular network

Hi there:
I had a rooted nexus 6 with Android 6.
I was playing with chmod and root and messed up some system permissions.
I have re-installed several Nexus 6 Google images 5.1 6.0 etc...
I have everything except cellular signal. It says no service and sometimes no sim card.
I have taken my sim and put it in another phone and it worked.
When I go to *#*#4636#*#*
It says GSM: emergency service only and GPRS service: disconnected.
I tried to change the network type to GSM only and others with no success.
Any help to further diagnose this would be appreciated..
Thanks
do you have an apn entered? and is it correct?

Very good point.
When I flashed 6.0.1
under cellular network settings , I only see Data raoming, Preferred network type and System select.
no APN settings
When I re-flashed 5.0.1 , I could see the apn settings, but when I go to it, it says something like that the user doesn't have permission to view the settings. I even tried to add a new settings and save it, but the message stayed there and I see no APN list at all..
I might have messed up the APN permissions with chmod, but I would think a system re-flash would have corrected it..
Thanks
