HTC M9 Camera

Today I got HTC M9 Camera & Gallery app is working fine in my Nexus 6..
May be some users like me not satisfied with the default Google Camera app. That's why decided to share this info..
Enjoy..

Download info.
Simply install as normal apk..
**Camera: http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/htc-corporation/camera-htc-corporation/
**Gallery: http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/htc-corporation/gallery-htc-corporation/
This works better because it has all the lib files and everything for extra functionality. (I removed the link due to the powers that be, but google search HTC m9 camera port and you will find it.)
At the bottom of the comments someone provided a full patch for 4k video.
Does it have an HDR+ option?
Selinux needs to be permissive for some reason

Thanks installing apk's work fine no forceclose.
@manup456 and @Ryjabo :
I actually use the zip file as well, but if I was you I should remove the links because that is the Jishnu Sur port and every kind of material, links etc coming from this guy is forbidden here in xda.
I say this just to let you avoid a warn by a moderator.

I get what your saying and thanks for the heads up, but its not like XDA post a list of people who are banned from XDA so why would they warn me? They keep track of who is banned not me.
But I will remove the link since XDA has changed so much and I don't want issues.
Awesome find..
Working good on benzo rom

If you are using lean kernel, there is an option available in lkconfig.
Otherwise, you would need to use the app SElinux Changer.
It was pulled from Google Play, but can be downloaded here on XDA:

Is it better than Camera FV-5?
there is any diference between zip file and apk files?

Could also use a terminal emulator app and run "su 0 setenforce 0" without the quotes. For me, the SELinux app here on XDA was not persistent. I would be switched back to enforcing after a reboot. The terminal way persists through reboots.
Of this gets HDR mode then adios 2012 Google camera

More features awaited!
Well, I've been using the HTC One M9 Camera App for about 4-5 days as my primary camera app and I'm quite happy. For instance, there are some awesome modes in it like Brokeh, Split Camera etc. But, Google Camera has better panorama. The HDR mode is needed as I compared the photos on my laptop... Google ones were better even when HDR+ mode wasn't even on! Having said that, HTC One M9 Camera is a beautiful addition to our phones as the Google Camera is still 2012 in my opinion!
Features awaited(in terms of importance):
1. HDR (most important)
2. Slow motion video
3. Faster focusing
Please hit the THANK YOU button if you think my review helped you. I will continue to post further info on this.
This is way better than the stock camera. The focus issue on the stock camera made me hate my camera, now with this I'm liking it. Thank you
Bokeh doesn't work for me. ,"couldn't identify foreground object"

[APP] Imprint Fingerprint Camera - Use your fingerprint sensor as a shutter button!

Hi everyone,
I recently published a new app called Imprint - Fingerprint Camera that I think you might enjoy. The idea of the app is simple, use your phone's fingerprint sensor as a camera shutter button to capture photos and videos. I believe this is the first app to use the fingerprint sensor for something other than security, but I could be wrong.
"But can't I use the volume rocker already?" you might ask
Yes, you can, but I think Imprint offers some improvements over the volume rocker. First, it's much easier to reach the fingerprint sensor on larger phones when in portrait view (like the 6P). Second, touching the fingerprint sensor tends to bump the phone less, resulting in clearer selfies.
The app uses the Nexus Imprint API to interact with the sensor, and allows any finger to take a photo, so you can hand off your phone to a friend and they can still use the app. Imprint also uses the Camera2 API for the crispest pictures.
The feature set is pretty simple right now, with front and rear camera support as well as front and rear flash support, but I am hoping to add more options in the future.
Here are some promo codes to test it out!

Found it in the Playstore for $0.99: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nyelito.com.imprintcam
Sorry I wasn't allowed to post a link since my account is new. That link is correct though.
wait... so can i still use the google camera app to take a picture using the fingerprint sensor after installing this app? or is this the app that's used to take the actual picture?
Hey OP
Possible for a coupon code for a free download to test this out?
Or perhaps you can post the APK here for a short while?
It's against the rules to do a thread with a paid app unless there's a free version

Right now this is the app that takes the picture since I need to be detecting fingerprint presses. I am planning on looking into if I can build the feature into the Google Camera app as well.

Thanks.
I used one, and sent you an email with a small feature request/bug.
To add to that email, if the vibration can't be removed, add a 0.5 second delay to the shutter.
all the codes have been redeemed?? any chances for us to try the app or not??

This! Interesting idea, but not sure how practical it would be unless i am able to try it out.
why should i start a camera app with less features than any other just to use fingerprint sensor?
There are so many good app ideas for alternative use of the sensor... but this app is useless

Camera2 API

Might be a stupid question, but is there anyway to enable or get the camera2 api? I really want to use the new Google Camera which requires it. I've seen some other phones get the API ported to it (sort of).
nope ((((
What Google camera are you talking about? Google camera is available on the play store and shows up as compatible with the Droid Turbo.

I've tried that but the camera app itself doesn't actually show up in the app drawer, some people in that thread were saying it's because the op forgot to included a 32 bit version of the app.

Google Camera Port Hub for Huawei?

Is it somehow possible to bring the Google Camera port to the P20? If not, are there any other camera mods which are good?

Possibility to adjust OP7Pro camera application ???

I ask me if there is a possibility to adjust the actual camera application from OP?
The hardware seems to be the same concept with 48/12/16 MP!?
The app from apkmirror is new with date 15th May...i just can't post the link but it's easy to find...
OP postprocessing algorithms aren't nearly as good as Googles, why not use gcam?
BTW, Op7 has OIS (Mi9 doesn't)
Adjust? Do you mean: "Port"? No, there's no reason for it.
No one has brought up an actual ROM for this phone yet, and you are asking for a port?
Nah, not happening anytime soon.
