Thats what my hboot reads. I have followed directions to unlock bootloader and everything went smooth got file in email and everything then when phone asks me to unlock bootloader i press power on phone to select yes and phone turns off and have to take out battery and reinsert into phone to get back into bootloader and still says locked at top. My os is messed up so i tried doing ruu thing it just keeps saying booting into bootloader and stays like that for thirty minutes. Fastboot program recognizes phone so im not sure what im doing wrong or if phone is too messed up or what. Need some help wopuld be greatly appreciated.

My bootloader did not wanted to be unlocked too.
Until i gain S-OFF...

Prerequisites
- Must be on a stock ROM
- Must be HTCDev unlocked
- Must be rooted
Thats what says requires these things to do the s-off, with the hasoon allin one toolkit for s-off. I am not rooted and when i do the HTCDev unlock my phone wont reboot so i have to take out battery just to get into hboot. So my question is how am i supposed to go about that if I cannot even meet the prerequisites. Or is there another way to s-off. Also if I go ahead and try it anyways is it gonna make this phone totally not usable?

Well now its been two days and my phone wont boot into hboot or anything says its charging then go to boot into hboot and light keeps flashing like its dead. Even bought an oem cable and charger for it and same thing. Gonna buy new battery and go from there i guess.

Ok well got new battery can get into hboot now but that is it. All the same things going on!!! WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME???

[Q] Yellow Triangle, Security Warning, Customer ID error

Hi all,
My Incredible S now refuses to boot and I can't flash it. Here's the story:
It was a factory unlocked device with S-ON. AlphaRevX successfully managed to get rid of that, and GingerBreak rooted the device in the first attempt. It was working fine until, for a stupid reason, I decided to go back to factory ROM. So I downloaded one from another thread here and ended up with famous yellow triangle. Removed the battery and the problem started.
It keeps showing HTC logo then restarts.
I've tried many ROMS but all of them ended up with Customer ID error. I see "Security Warning" message on the Bootloader screen and S-ON is back.
Here's all the information I can gather from bootloader screen:
VIVO PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT 1.09.0000
RADIO 3805.04.03.27_M
I'd appreciate any kind of help.

I am in the exact same boat and I made a thread about it here:

Read through the posts to find out what you can do to fix (its not much).
Let me know if you can actually fix it...

Whenever you get an invalid CID or customer ID when trying to flash a ROM, it means that you need to create a goldcard to flash the ROM because your phone may be S-OFF, but it is not carrier unlocked.
You situation is not unique however. You are the 3rd thread that has posted the 'Security Warning' and getting set back to S-ON. You may want to check out the other threads to see if they were ever able to get it resolved.

Hi,
Thanks for the link. I actually cannot try XTC Clip as I don't have it. Gold Card is not an option as I simply don't know what is the CID of my device.
I tried to flash mine with stock RUU, but this time got "Bootloader version" error which means I can't downgrade. It is an Arabic ROM (the latest OTA update for my device named "OTA_Vivo_Gingerbread_S_HTC_ARA_2.30.415.1-2.12.415.5") so I guess I need a stock Gingerbread Arabic ROM for HTC Incredible S, which is not available AFAIK.

Hi,
It is S-ON and carrier unlocked but either way I believe I need to know my CID to create a gold card (please correct me if I'm wrong). As the device is not booting up, I can't read the CID, unless there's a way to read it in bootloader mode.

I have the same problem,I flash the eng-hboot and then i used goldcard to flash the ruu,the bootloader was s-on and when i power on,it only enter fastboot mode, some one know how to do ? jtag now can't fix it

Hi guys
I searched everything before trying this and thought i was doing the right thing but no . I was on a rooted froyo with cwm installed. I downloaded the RUU "RUU_VIVO_SENSE30_S_hTC_Asia_HK_3.09.708.2_Radio_20.4802.30.0822U_3822.10.08.28_M_release_227715_signed"

The problem is you are S-OFF with Revolutionary and the 3.09 RUU you flashed the Android 2.3.5/Sense 3.0 ROM which needs to have HBOOT 2.00 installed in order to boot and run.
The Revolutionary S-OFF HBOOT is preventing the RUU from installing HBOOT 2.00, thus the reason you are now in this state.
Checkout the FAQ sticky post in this forum on how you should proceed.
I used an exe installer friend. And I am really new here so I am relatively new to the terms u guys use. So whats a sticky in the faq?? Do I still have hope or should I give it to htc. The htc service in India is really bad and if they find out I am s off they wont touch my piece unless I pay them. So I am stuck either way...
Pl help
OK I finally found the sticky!! I got a similar thread there but it says something bout unlocking the hboot. Can u please explain what that means. How do I know if the hboot has been unlocked?
Tx
PS: I dont understand how I can load anything on my phone since it only charges when connected to a pc. I do not want to do anything wrong now so pl help

Look at Question 2 for the answer to your problem.
Hi tpbklake. tx for the reply. I checked q 2 and it is the exact same issue as mine but how do i reinstall clockwork? I have wiped everything from the phone and dont know how to do that. I can only go to the hboot screen by hitting the vol down+ power button. What to do after that?

At this point you don't need to worry about unlocking the bootloader because you have the Revolutionary S-OFF bootloader.

OK, let's try to get your phone operational again.
Download this HTC official RUU/ROM:
http://www.filefactory.com/file/c0a...5AU_3805.04.03.27_M_release_189979_signed.exe
You should be able to install this ROM and still have Revolutionary S-OFF bootloader in place. Hopefully this will fix your phone and have it boot normally.

Stuck at HTC Screen, tried PG32IMG.ZIP file ie by copying into the card and fastboot, it fails to read it.
Is the fix for white screen by getting the right version of PG32IMG.ZIP? if so could you please post the link. I have tried updating the radio a couple of times.
Hi again tpbklake. I tried installing the rom u mentioed but it says usb error and rightly so because my phone cannot turn on and hence cannot read the rom. I tried installing the rom when the phone is on the htc screen and also when it is just plugged in without turning it on. Same error. My phone only gets charged when connected to the pc but when I turn it on the charging light goes off. Just putting as much info as possible. Dunno wot to do

Ok then you need to extract the ROM.zip file from that RUUand then copy it to our SDcard and rename it PG32IMG.zip and then reboot into hboot and see if it will flash that way.
How do I extract the zip file from an exe? Is there a zip file of the same RUU?

[Q] Incredible S Stuck at Logo

Hey guys, so this is my first post here on XDA, and being totally honest I am a complete noob who has no idea what technical terms mean. Terms like S-Off and H-Boot are all Greek to me. :/
Ok so I have an Incredible S which came with a custom ICS Rom. But since there's an official rom from HTC Dev I downloaded that, connected my phone to HTC Sync and ran the exe file. Everything went fine, the progress bar went on, but after the setup on my pc said that it was completed the phone just seems to be stuck on the HTC white screen. It was that was for over an hour and I knew something had gone wrong.
The rom that I downloaded was the NAM one.
I know how to get into the bootloader screen (power and volume down) and these are what I see there:
VIVO PVT **** S-OFF RL
HBOOT-6.13.1002

I thought I got a corrupted rom or something so I downloaded the WWE rom from HTC Dev as well, but when I extracted the rar file it's a whole load of folders and files I don't even know how to use, unlike the earlier NAM file which was a simple exe. What worries me more is that I have no idea how to even connect the phone to my USB and get a rom inside the SD card so I could flash it through the bootloader.
I went through so many threads on this forum but like I said, I don't really understand all the techy terms. :/
Many apologies, but I'd really appreciate a walkthrough on how I can get my phone to work again.
Present status with the phone is that it won't get past the HTC logo screen and won't connect to the computer.
Please help!
Thank you!

Stuck in bootloader, please help!

hi everyone,
I'm new here but right now I'm at my wits end here...
Backstory: I rooted my One and installed a ROM on it. However, a problem with the mic suddenly cropped up. Calling has been a pain and people say that they can hardly hear me. Speakerphone, however, works but it's annoying and inconvenient if I turn on my speakers every single time.
I decided to contact HTC again and asked for a replacement. I told them that there is something wrong with the mic of the phone. They were able to placed an on-site replacement. However, after 2 days, they sent me back an email saying that the problem lies "outside of the warranty" and the charge to get it back to working condition is $200. I thought it was ridiculous so I googled around and most on xda forums said that it is a hardware problem not a software one so I figured it's not a ROM problem.
So yesterday, when I got the phone back, it is unrepaired and worse, the volume buttons do not work at all...I am reluctant to send my phone back to HTC again because I know they will say that it is "out of warranty".
Stupid as I was, I tried to relock my One and S-On it again in order so that I can send my One back to HTC.
However, my One is stuck in bootloader mode.
On the top it says "Tampered", "LOCKED", and "Security Warning"
The HBOOT is 1.56 and it is S-ON.
The thing is, the volume buttons DO NOT work so I can't get into recovery mode using the normal method.
I can still use fastboot commands but the fastboot reboot command always send me back into the bootloader mode which is annoying. Because I can't get into recovery mode I can't use adb commands. So now, I think my phone is softbricked.
Would anyone be so kind and guide me through this? If anyone could help me I would be forever grateful.

Really bad idea to S-ON on hboot 1.56. S-ON must be done on hboot 1.44 or 1.54 otherwise tampered flag will come back. + its really hard to s-off on hboot 1.56 and in some case its not possible. So you'll have to S-off and downgrade then remove the tampered flag, lock bootloader and s-on (hboot 1.44-1.54 only).
To boot in recovery you can use adb reboot recovery from the OS. if you can't boot inside the OS, I think you are stuck.

I know My phone was S-Off at the beginning of the "re-locking" process but as I followed the guides on Youtube, it had to be S-On and Locked again. I know it's a stupid move from my part
I can't do any adb commands because I'm stuck in the bootloader. adb devices returns no devices so i can't reboot into recovery.
Is there any fastboot command that will boot into recovery?
Which sucks the most is that the volume buttons do not work at all so yeah I'm pretty hopeless right now unless someone can miraculously come up with something to help
As of right now yes I'm hopelessly staring at the white screen on my phone...

Thanks for trying to help hey

T-MOUS S-Off on newest hboot 1.57.0000(what I did)

Let me start off with I think I got lucky. Try this at your own risk. I locked my bootloader and turned my security back on for a TMOUS warranty exchange for the dreaded purple tint in camera. I received my replacement only to find out that in fluorescent lighting the replacement HTC ONE M7 had a greenish tint but only under fluorescent lighting. So I am getting another replacement sent for free. This is where my troubles begin. I decided to unlock my bootloader for my original phone again and root it so I can set everything up again for daily use. I got through all those steps fairly easy. FYI: original phone is on newest TMOUS OTA_M7_UL_K44_SENSE60_MR_TMOUS_5.14.531.1_R-4.19.531.10_release_373019xng22l97gj5szmwv. I then relocked the phone and tried to flash RUU Zip M7_UL_JB43_SENSE50_MR_TMOUS_3.24.531.3_Radio_4A.21.3263.03_10.38m.1157.04_release_336982_signed_2_decrypted.zip in order to achieve s-off again but to no success. Hboot 1.57.000 with S-ON wasn't having any of it I guess.
I unlocked bootloader and relocked bootloader several times trying several different methods to no success. Oh, my recovery was TWRP 2.7.0.0. At some point I realized that if I was going to return this phone I needed to get s-off again to remove tampered flag and actually lock phone instead of relock. I happened to come across a stock rom that I decided to install in hopes of accomplishing S-off. Stock 3.24.531.3 T-Mobile.zip was the rom. Long story. I know. So here is what I did;
Unlocked bootloader
Flashed TWRP and gained root using WinDroid Universal HTC Toolkit
Installed Stock 3.24.531.3 T-Mobile.zip ROM via TWRP
Phone would not fully boot past HTC ONE Animation screen
powered down and powered back on into bootloader
relocked bootloader and rebooted bootloader
unlocked bootloader again
Phone now booted completely into the stock rom I flashed
Proceeded to use firewater for S-off
Didn't work first time
Powered down phone by holding power button and rebooted normally
Tried firewater again and to my luck the SOB worked and I am S-Off again on newest HTC One TMOUS with an older Stock 3.24.531.3 T-Mobile rom
I'm sorry if I have no links to anything I mentioned but I am new to this so I don't really know how to link to other stuff I found on the site. Thanks to all the great people whose tools and rom I used to achieve S-off again.
Prior to doing those steps firewater would not get past the first chugging stage.
If you got the chugging message you were always going to be able to s off it. Firewater isn't worried about the hboot so much as the version of your cpu as to whether the exploit will work on it
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
It would get to the chugging and sit there for bit then kick the phone back to root command. It didn't matter how many times I tried it would always do the same thing at the same spot. I would then have to reboot the phone and try again but no success. I'm just sharing what I did and worked for me. Clearly the exploit didn't want to work before I did the steps I took. I wouldn't have spent almost 30 hours of reading and trying to fix the problem I caused otherwise. Maybe it was a fluke or dumb luck. I don't know.
Where can I find this stock rom?
Nevermind this did not work.
