There's an RUU zip for your MID & CID here: http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/ruu-zip...0-01_release_312087_signed_2_4_decrypted-zip/
But you'll need to S-Off in order to be able to downgrade.
Anyway, why bother going back to stock?
going back on stock coz of speaker issues and want to get it fixed in warranty .
Can you Please tell me how to S-OFF it safely .
Thanks

you need to use http://rumrunner.us/
but first flash a compatible rom, i would suggest you try this one: http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/guru_reset_m7_2-24-707-1-zip/ and see if it works.
you need to enable ROOT in the installer, and I would suggest unselecting "stock recovery", and also do a WIPE.
then use rumrunner to get s-off
Once S-Off, remove tampered and set your phone locked (not relocked), you can use this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2527194
then you need to flash the zip in ruu mode, so in bootloader/FASTBOOT USB:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip <name of ruu>.zip
fastboot flash zip <name of ruu>.zip <- YES TWICE, first one will report "failed push again", second one should report success
fastboot reboot
and you should be completely back to stock.
Hit the thanks button if i've helped

Couldn`t work as you are S-On. I think you`re stuck bro afaik. Maybe someone else knows a solution. Good luck.
That's odd. It shouldn't have run at all since you can't downgrade using a RUU without s-off. It should have prompted a RUU error noting that you were on a later version.
Is your phone rooted and unlocked yet? Did you do anything to it besides run the RUU?
Can't you just use fastboot to push a custom recovery and then sideload a custom or stock ROM?

Looks like his only option. Surprised that the RUU wiped his device before getting the error.
There's no way to downgrade hboot with s-on atm.
I'm gonna be 'that guy'... What the heck were you doing flashing an RUU on S-on with 'limited IT knowledge'...
There's a reason RUUs aren't released. It's to prevent this.
On a side note I would try another RUU download. Where are you getting the error at? What's the phone doing?
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4 Beta
I'm wondering now. Did you actually try to fastboot flash the 1.44 WWE firmware.zip in RUU mode despite being s-on? Because if you really did that, the phone is dead. You're getting a signature error because the phone is s-on and you managed to corrupt something important. Being s-on, I doubt there is any way to fix it.
An expensive lesson, but maybe you'll be more careful next time. Gaining s-off isn't worth bricking your phone.
This is confusing as the official RUU's (exe's and zips) will simply not allow you to downgrade the hboot or to flash an older version of the firmware without having s-off so my thoughts are exactly the same as iElvis.
I cannot see how you managed to do what you did.
So questions....
Are you running a custom recovery?
Is your bootloader locked or unlocked?
Have you tried holding vol down and power for about 15 to 30 seconds to see if you can get into the bootloader?
Did you do something like reboot into bootloader, fastboot oem rebootRUU and then fastboot flash zip firmware.zip?
TELL US the exact steps you went through so we can try to help you and worst case scenario you have bricked your phone.
I am having a similar problem only i have S-off but i cant find the right RUU or the right recovery.img to fastboot it .
If you have rumrunner_HTC_0.5.0.zip you could gain s-off very easy .

I am just gonna go back to stock (CBA with the hassle) - That's if it's possible now of course.
What happens?
When I turn the phone on now, I just get the option for Fastboot-USB , Recovery etc - phone will not boot.

Remove IMEI and s/n from your post!!
Are you locked or unlocked? And what exactly do you mean you were updating?
Anyway, to give you some insight to your options: Since you're S-On, you can only flash an ruu for your version (1.29.401.12) or higher, there's this one:
http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/ruu-zip...0-01_release_318486_signed_2_4_decrypted-zip/
this is an ruu.zip, so you flash this in ruu mode, in bootloader/FASTBOOT USB:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip ruu.zip
fastboot flash zip ruu.zip <- yes TWICE
fastboot reboot-bootloader
I'm freaking out a little bit. I was in the middle of trying to restore to stock. I got s-on back and locked the bootloader. Now I'm stuck on the bootloader. No matter what I press, it goes back to the bootloader. Adb no longer lists any devices connected to the pc. I can't get any of the RUU's I have downloaded to even open. Any ideas? Should the RUU be the next step?

1- why did you s-on? Always keep s-off unless you send your phone for repair under warranty.
2- adb can't work from bootloader only fasboot, so ''fastboot devices'' should list your phone.
3- post the output of ''fastboot getvar all'' except IMEI so we can determine if you can use a ruu.
4- which ruu are you trying to flash?

umm... fastboot is working try to get in flashRUU mode!
1: fastboot oem rebootRUU
2: if working flash RUU zip that you prefer but not 6.X.X because this is only update, don't exist a full stock ruu of 6.x.x (i think). the comand is: fastboot flash zip xxx.zip
when i do step 1 i end up with htc logo and 4 triangles at each corner
now i m downloading ruu.exe and changed cid to d required cid for the ruu
will try to flash n check what happens

find a decrypted RUU you want and edit the android_info.txt to match your MID / CID Flash in fastboot oem rebootRUU
if your goal is to get OTA updates you should choose the International Version and change your MID and CID to match one of those then use the .401 RUU

cid: HTC__001, HTC__E11

Problem solved. Phone was stuck in ruu mode with HTC logo n 4 triangles on each corner. It solved after I flashed firmware which came with 4.3 version. N fixed. May b something to do with firmware flash. Phone was on stock 4.3 before unlocking boot loader n flashing latest 4.4.3 firmware.

I am trying to return to stock but unsure which RUU I really need. I did download this one to try my luck:
RUU_M7_UL_K44_SENSE55_MR_HTC_Europe_4.19.401.9_R_Radio_4A.23.3263.28_10.38r.1157.04L_release_353069_signed_2-1
But it stays at "Checking Header...." and never moves on past that point.
Since I updated my device before I tried rooting it. So it's HBOOT 1.57.000. So all I tried to S-OFF failed so I'm stuck with S-ON.
Anyone is able to help me?
PS I tried using this tutorial.

PS I tried using this tutorial.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2728428
So I relocked my bootloader using "fastboot oem lock"

Are you trying to return to stock for warranty purpose? If not you can simply flash the stock odexed rom (6.09.401.5) and then the stock 6.09.401.5 recovery.
otherwise you'll indeed need s-off. Have you tried sunshine s-off?

No, I do not want to go to stock for warranty purposes. I just want to return to stock and receive OTA updates.
I know that if I want to return the device for warranty purposes I need to s-off but since nothing is wrong with my device I am not mentally prepared to pay 25$. Please don't get me wrong I understand the time and effort that went into sunshine S-OFF and even I feel that 25$ are justified, I simply not need it so urgently...yet
Ok, then where can i get the odexed rom and the recovery? Do you have some pointers? I just wanna make sure I get the right one.

unlock your bootloader
flash a custom recovery (twrp 2.6.3.3 preferred)
flash the stock rom
flash the stock recovery
