Hello Quarx,
it's nice to see you're back in business again and thank you for your work.
If your build is experiencing the same VoIP problem like mine (microphone is not working in Skype, Hangouts, etc. calls), please set the "use.dedicated.device.for.voip" to "false" in build.prop.
Also, your post contains the link for the KitKat Gapps package, please update it to the Lollipop version
Nice to see, but what does 'pre-official' mean?
Beta- version.
when will it be possible to download it? thx!
nice some screenshots would be great....
can't wait, finally a new ROM for my baby
Yes Finally Some work and nice to see you back!
He's still in the game
but... when?
to all of you: keep your redundant questions about etas, screenshots etc to yourself along with whining
its done when its done and donate to quarx
thanks to all who contributed to the dev
Read Rules.. Don't ASK ETA
We have to wait ..
Nice! Excited for this!
Also, not sure if this is the place to post this, but our device isn't listed on the "devices" page of the Cyanogenmod site (http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Devices). It's only available as "w7" on the download page, and when you hover over the label it doesn't show the device name (LG Optimus L90) like the other ones do. I know, minor issues, but the people who get their ROMs from the CM site instead of XDA won't know that CM exists for our device.
Fully working Camera? Yes please?
I couldn't be more excited for this..
Donations, indeed.
Thank you!
Alright Quarx! You are the bomb! I am very excited to see what you come up with.
Good luck with the build! ?
This is so exciting! I was holding out for the official Lolipop ROM for D415 but this just has me super hyped. I hope we have a fully working camera ^_^
Build uploaded. Link in first post.
Also please disable "Lift to wake" in Setting - Display. This cause problems with screen off.
is this good for D405n? thanks
@giamanto, i not tested. But i think should work.

Well,nothing works except for boot.
I don't suggest anyone who isn't experienced to try to flash it,it is a pain to come back to stock after you do everything to flash CM(not emotionally hard but literally hard).
that was fast...
Good! thanks for work on it!
Wow, good job !
That was fast
And the alpha build had a lift off! Way to go
THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Can't wait for it!!!
Does it have TWRP built in?
So can I flash it and then just restore my current setup? Or will I have to reinstall TWRP?

TWRP isn't included, and you will have a bad time trying to restore stock after doing all the things for CM.
Trust me,the build isn't anything special for now(only boots, the UI is glitchy(since we have to skip the Huawei hwcomposer like any other Hauwei phone on CM),the nav bar buttons are a bit too big and the phone won't wake up once it goes to sleep). That's all,to be honest.

No problem though. A booting ROM this fast is more than I imagined. Cool to see a build already

That depends. Huawei pretty much, politely put, urinated over the dev community by making heavy changes to Android and then refusing to give all the info to devs, making CM/AOSP impossible or extremely hard to port.
It is really hard to speculate,we have no idea what Huawei messed up on the software level. I mean,we do,but I am sure even more unpleasant surprises are on the way.
Either way great work just to get as far as a booting build. Lucky as this phone has zero dev appeal really.

How to install:
Follow the usual procedure, important things is to use supported recovery, you can download it from the download section.
Also do not forget, wipe everything, install rom, then gapps without reboot between!
Others recovery will not be supported!
Also if you come from another ROM, full wipe is required.
FAQ:
Which Gapps to use? OpenGapps works great, you can get them from here
After installing ROM + Gapss, GApps keep crashing: Just update your recovery with the provided twrp (in cm-13.0 thread)
Keyboard does not work: enable hardware keyboard in settings.
If you don't want to see cursor while using S-Pen, you can disable it it in settings / inputs
Camera is not working: use google camera

Important information:
This thread is for LineageOS 15.1 builds for Xiaomi Mi 6. The following will not be supported here:
Custom kernels
Mods
Xposed
We don't support Xposed and any logcat which includes a Xposed module will be ignored. You're kindly invited to not report bugs if you:
Flashed a custom kernel
Installed or did mods from untrusted sources
Modified system files
WARNING:
This is an early preview of LineageOS 15.1, there's no guarantee it'll work stable.
Database migration from previous LineageOS is currently NOT supported, you MUST perform a data wipe before.
Tips:
SELinux works in permissive
FBE is currently not supported
NFC is a bit buggy and drains a lot in standby, disable it when you don't use it.
You need at least MIUI Global Oreo 8.2.8 firmware, otherwise you'll get error 7 when installing the zip. Latest MIUI Global Oreo firmware is recommended.
Installation:
First time flashing LineageOS 15.1 on your device, or coming from another ROM?
Download the zip(s)
Install a compatible Recovery (I recommend twrp-3.2.1-0-sagit-blankaf-3.img as it works with /vendor (/cust) partition and February security patch decryption.)
Perform a nandroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
Format data & wipe system, data, cache and dalvik cache
Flash LineageOS
Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package
Reboot

Just don't use the ROM.
XDA isn't meant to be personal. Just a webpage to share work.
If you don't like it just don't use it I guess.
Whatever gets done is usually added to github so any changes can be forked into others builds so improvement happens regardless of the developer abandoning the project etc.
That's the point of android development. Its open source so progress is shared.
Don't worry too much and go with the flow

Well you actually can give it a shot, but no guarantee that it would work without issues. Or just make a backup to be safe
Hello! I want to ask you a few questions if possible:
- Does this ROM have Dolby Atmos?
- Does it support 120hz?
- When will it become official?

Lineageos doesn't shipping with Dolby, 120 Hz supported as usual, the point of this is giving UNOFFICIAL builds till official lineage 20
Is the build steps the same as in https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/instantnoodlep/build
Except replacing the branch to lineage-20 ?
Also the changelog points to lineage 19.1
