Can you download the GPS test application from the market? I forget the name of it but I was getting locks on papis build in maps but GPS wasn't totally working. I hope that makes sense.
Thanks brah
Yeah this is really good. Been running a few hours. BTW tap and pay works everyone
Edit: well at least it should. Haven't had the opportunity to test just yet

It's working for reals. GPS test confirmed and it's actually allowing navigation in Maps rather than just the preview.
Edit: cm11 is pretty bare-bones right now - but HD video is working in Youtube. And you can take videos in the camera app.
+ 1 for working GPS. Maps & Ingress.
Should note I'm using the CM build from this thread.

What about Camcorder? Working?
Coming from gummy 4.4 and there's Issues I'm having that don't quite make sense. Navbar and status bars aren't transparent when using nova launcher, but they were on gummy 4.4. When I use GEL, the nav and status bars are transparent, but no matter what launcher I'm using, the nav and status bars are black on the lock screen. Thoughts? I checked all the obvious settings and didn't see anything.

Just earlier today I told myself I was going to run the stock lg rom for more than 24 hours. Looks like I'm going against what I said earlier today.
That being said -- Does anyone know why Fitbit Flex will not sync with any AOSP rom? -- it's so weird.

Hi. GPS signal gets a lock for me on the newest AOKP rom, however it is off by (sometimes) 1/2 mile.
Is there tweaking that needs to be done in the APN or something? I use my phone for geocaching, and anything off from the typical 10-20ft kills it for me :\
Has anyone else noticed this issue? I get perfect coordinates over wifi, but if I turn that off and drive in my car the gps is off quite a bit... maybe I should just use one of the deodexed roms..

If it worked after flashing gapps, it Is not GPS.. It us Google location service.. It uses WiFi or mobile data to find your location, but it won't be that accurate as GPS.

You would need a phone remover. No you can't use the one for blackhawk.
Also you would probably have to edit the updater-script to remove the "assert***" lines of there are any.

This is an (pretty early) AOSP build for our lovely x3 (p880). This project is still highly WIP, and there are many, many bugs.
But the most important part of a phone is working You can make calls as usual
Now, let's go on as I'm no fan of big speeches
Working
ADB
RIL (Phone)
Data
WiFi
NFC
Sound
Music playback
Vibration
USB connection
Bluetooth
Bluetooth tethering (cannot test myself)
Button Backlight
Busybox ---> SuperSU can be easily flashed now
Brightness
Not working
Camera
You tell me more
Installation
Download the ROM
Download GAPPS
Download WWJB kernel CM10.2 version
Full wipe
Flash ROM, GAPPS and kernel (you need to flash a custom kernel for now, as the ROM is missing some modules)
reboot
As already said, this project is WIP. So expect bugs, but if you encounter bugs, please also report them via DevDB bug reports. And please read the others before to avoid double posting

I like AOSP myself, too It might lack some features, but the smoothness is incredible. And what a ROM needs for me is smoothness

The ramdisk does, yeah But I cannot say anything about the kernel itself. Although I think they should be fine
Officially supported is only WWJB kernel.

I know, but I didn't mention it as i cannot test it for now. I'm working on the bugs only for now. If everything's mostly working, i will take a look at this, too
EDIT: Oops, totally forgot to mention v0.02 is up
I'll try it out when I get home.
So...where's the link to 0.02?

The v0.02 isn't in his goo.im directory, so I think he didn't upload it properly or deleted it recently.

We are using DevDB DevDB has the great opportunity to upload the ROMs/kernel/whatever directly to xda servers
So just take a look into the Download section of this DevDB project

Where is my credit? Just kidding! Nice work, I knew you was going to push this through.
CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

It really depends on your computer, but it has been taking 2-2.5 hours to build everything clean for me (I use ubuntu in virtualbox).

Ok I used the modules from stock. it shouldn't matter as they are external modules that don't have to match the kernel
I am uploading the build now

As you expected, it doesn't boot. ADB is not enabled during bootup either so I couldn't get a logcat.
Looking at last_kmsg now and will play around a little to see what I can find.
