So I'm ready to pull the trigger on a unlocked T Mobile Variant. I have ATT service. Are there any disadvantages?

There's no app you can just call tmobile.

If you must know, it's because my provider has a lame 15 day or 30 minute return policy and I don't know if I can live with a $700 locked bootloader.
Just got a replacement phone and don't know if it's the phone or something in the recent update.

What is your software version? It seems like you're either having a SIM issue and/or an issue with the old firmware from 12/18

It looks like a sim card issue. You will most likely need to go to a sprint store and get this replaced.
I actually am having those random codes as well.
Right after I did the 1-15 update.
And funny this is too, I actually got 18mb 4G after update(we have NEVER had tH in my whole town only ATT did) .But I get those random codes too. I would like to know what is the deal to lol

I read that T-Mobile will be pushing an update to some of it's devices that will add support for their 700 spectrum, so my question is, is there a way to add a band to my phone? Specifically the 1700 one. Let me know if any possible way. Thanks.
