Have a different stock launcher?

Is it possible to delete the touchwiz.launcher replacing it with adw or launcher pro as the default and only one?
I really like afw but i.dont like the fact that the toucwiz its still.running in background

Will result in touchwiz being extinguished from your tab. Won't be running at the back after you delete it.

Just remember to have another launcher installed prior to doing that .

Anyone tried that without any problems? I have a gt with overcome 1.2.1 rom and kernel!
Which is the filename of the touchwiz i can delete?

If you set another launcher as default and then reboot, it shouldn't run the default launcher anyway.
And the name of the Touchwiz launcher is "TouchWiz30Launcher.apk".
Don't delete it, move it to /sdcard/ so you've got a backup.

You can also just freeze the appa instead of deleting/moving it. Use Titanium Backup or similar to freeze it and then it wont run.
Alternative if you want to remove you can also use SystemApp remover if you cant locate the correct apk.

maybe you can crash something. in P1000L (Brazil) tab, TV app doesn't work without touchwiz...

the phone app will not work without the touchwiz launcher

How to simpy freeze it?cant find its filename in titanium backup!

Use SystemTuner Pro... u can freeze/uninstall it

[Q] How to make Arc launcher work?

Hi, I want to use Arc launcher in GingerXperiaRay v4. I tried to put it in /system/app and set permissions.
Rebooted, then nothing changed. Then I deleted the default launcher from /system/app and place the Arc launcher. Just bootlooping. Then I created a flashable .zip and flashed in CWM. Nothing changed. What can I do?

Hi guys, i modded the HOLO LAUNCHER HD (free version from play store).
Now it's similar to the original LG HOME 3.0
To use system widgets move the app in system/app and set permission rw-r-r-, restart the phone

OK I was looking at changing roms but I want to change to something that looks different all over I'm sick of the adw launcher holo ect hoping you guys or gals can help me out

if u are new try this rom cynogenmod 7(its offical & unoffical)
try unoffical
bcz its newly updated with live wallpaper and compare to cm7(offical version doesnt have live wallpaper)
