success.
Greetings can you explain more on the installation of the application?
when i wanne install the wondershare mobile or IP Webcam for android it says device not supported.
Thanks for the help
For some reason TinyCam won't connect. Its strange chrome can yet an app can't. Would figure if there was isolation occurring nothing from the phone via an app would be able to hit that ip. Any ideas?
Make sure you enter the port number 8080 in tiny cam as well as specify the entire url with /videofeed

Is there a stock browser with the ability to permanently set UA?
Sent from my oics Nexus S 4G using XDA App
If by UA you mean User Agent, then you can use Opera Mobile for that. But of course, Opera Mobile is not the stock browser...

If you want something better try browser+ in the market. Its based on the 4.0.3 AOSP browser with many enhancements.

Can you recommend another fast rendering browser?
i like the stock browser for its simplicity, and i dont think it renders slow at all. it just works right, what else is needed.
Has to be a ton of us, Brighthouse customers, out there pissed off about this

Got it working...
File is attached below.
Uninstall original, if installed, then install this one.
Also make sure any reference to "test-keys" in build.prop are changed to "release-keys"
N3M3515
Because only certain tablet types have been authorized by Bright House, could changing the manufacturer in build.prop have any relevance..additionally, what does changing "test-keys" to "release keys"actually accomplish?
almost there...
thanks n3m35155 for the modified APK, works like a charm
for anyone else wondering.. you also have to be on a brighthouse networks connection to use this app.. so to be clear, you need a non rooted device (or the above apk from n3m35155) and must also be on a brighthouse network.. but here is the kicker, not just ANY brighthouse network you also have to have a TV subscription service on the brighthouse network that you are connecting from.
i am at my work right now, who has brighthouse internet (business class) but no TV subscription and trying to use their connection with my brighthouse services login credentials prompts me with an error saying you must use an authorized brighthouse networks connection blah blah blah.. so i decided i would connect to VPN (to my network, which is authorized) and the app tells you that you must first disable VPN before streaming any video.
so i guess my question is, n3m35155 or anyone else, is it possible to modify the apk (once more) to remove the check for VPN? i mean its not like im trying to gain access to stuff that i dont have.. for an app that toutes you can watch TV on the GO.. you sure can go very far before the many stupid restrictions take effect.
wrong file

Please NOTE: this is Not an APK file, it's a zipfile which does not contain any APK files in it.
It also FAILS if trying to flash using CWM Recovery.
In order to run demos and project (for large audiences) what appears on the screen of my Nexus S, I'm looking for the best app (not necessarily free) able to do that via USB or WiFi.
Have you addressed the same need in the past?
Any suggestion?
Thanks
P.S. Being able to do that without installing any special software on the pc would be a plus
As far as I know, our phones don't have mhl support, so I don't think that you can do this. However there is an app Team viewer, where you can get your pc desktop on your phone. If that doesn't work maybe you can do a gallery of screenshots from the phone to the pc to show what you want? I don't know, hopefully that helps.
its low res but check out webkey in the market. it has a web based screen viewing function as part of its security features, pretty handy.
Hey,
There is an app called "MirrorOP" in the Googleplay market. Install it and then install "MirrorOP Reciever" for PC. Then you will be able to get your phone screen to PC. In the settings you can change the resolution and quality, so you can incerase fps to 25 fps (on the lowest settings).
PS: your nexus must be rooted
greets

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bitmaptest&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5iaXRtYXB0ZXN0Il0.hey, try this. Crystal screen in play store.
If you just want static real-time screenshots, e.g., no animation, try AirDroid (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sand.airdroid). Your phone must have root and grant AirDroid root access to capture screenshots.
This is overkill but if you have the options, it works great.
If you have a Samsung SmartTV connecting to the same network your phone is on, download the app called SwipeIt on both the TV and the phone. You can then use SwipeIt to project your phone screen to the TV.
Thank you all for the kind help.
I really thought this was easier to do.
I tried most of the apps you recommended and they generally require an internet connection rather than a simpler one-to-one connection to the PC (in my case this could be an issue).
I'm now oriented to just record a session, download the video to the PC and play it to demo what I had to demo.

My original inspiration to give this a shot again http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1611309 But of course the simple connection was hindered by the stock Samsung ICS rom (I am rooted and this does require root)
I have the tab 2 7 P3113 and I had been trying to figure out the wiimote\samsung compatibilty issues so I could use a wiimote and nunchuk to play mc4 because i experiance intermitent touchscreen issues. I am using USB\BT Joystick found here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.poke64738.usbjoy You will also need the server app to go with it here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.poke64738.joy2touch...... I also had to download this app to get USB/BT to recognize the wiimote https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jpn.frontia.waka.Bluetooth (its in chinese but it pairs the wimote without passkey input.) I love the app WiimoteController but you cant map touches The one thing not working via Wiimote is the swipe to change weapons, if someone would like to help configure it? There is one function left on my setup, - and A both reload right now.
This is my mapping configuration for MC4..... PLace the .xml file in sdcard/USBJoyData/
This zip contains everything except the paid app

I will get a detailed walktrhough together as soon as time permits. Until then here is some screenies.

Anyone use android-vnc-viewer app on the Turbo? It connects just fine, but most of the functions of the app require a menu button. Turbo doesn't have a menu button. So I can connect and see screen of host, I can pan and zoom, and I can left-click and right-click by tapping and double-tapping. But I can't send text to host (menu-S) or even disconnect (menu-D) from host. I found that it is possible to disconnect by selecting recent apps button on Turbo and then swiping the vnc-viewer app away. It's lame, but it beats having to shut down the phone. Does anyone know of how to access other functions in the vnc-viewer app without a menu key? I didn't find anything in the app documentation.

If you go into Settings > Display, there's a check box that makes it so that when you long press the recent apps button, it acts like a menu button.

Than you. That was easy. I already had the box checked, but had forgotten about it. Also I didn't realize that the task key is the recent apps button.
