Dock Touchpad Single Click not working in some Android Apps - Asus Transformer TF701

I have noticed that with Microsoft RDP client and TeamViewer single click on the touchpad does not actually register a click on the remote computer. Does anyone know of a setting or app that can fix this?

PhoneMyPC works for me. I can view live and interact live. Haven't tried anything else. When I remoted in I noticed that the NC keyboard didn't pop up automatically. I use Button Savior to access the PhoneMyPC menu and was able to select the keyboard that way.

Its not that it sucked, I guess... just didn't have the functionality I wanted.
TeamViewer
Just tried the Android app, which youll have to get from the website an sideload, but a quick run though of the app went smooth an seemed just as good as the PC version.
Logmein works well as a remote desktop tool.
I'd recommend TeamViewer b/c with it you can connect to any computer running it. Very helpful for tech support.
Link is here: http://www.teamviewer.com/download/TeamViewer.apk
phonemypc wont work when lappy is connected to projector..
moving on to LogMeIn, and if that fails... Teamviewer.
thanks for the info buds
I use remotedroid on my phone ... have not tried it yet on the nook but that may be an option.

I also use RemoteDroid and it's so much better on the NC rather than my Droid. The larger screen just makes it so much easier to navigate accurately.
Logmein ran slow. So I installed teamviewer and its sweeeet.
May try remotedroid, but tviewr is doing great currently
// from the nook
Open vnc. It works with my evo so i assume it will work with nook.

Another vote for Teamviewer, pretty sweet.
If you have the ability to set up a vnc client on the target PC, I would recommend openvnc, if not than use teamviewer.
alright, so i installed and got the vnc stuff running, but i cant get any remote input working
im using tightvnc and android-vnc-viewer, and the only input it lets me use is trackball, which the nook obviously lacks. the other input options are greyed out so i cant select anything else.
bug with PhoneMyPC
Be careful with PhoneMyPC PC software.
Software: PhoneMyPC PC software 32bit version 2.0.2.2
OS: Window 7 Ult w/ SP1
I was looking for a remote desktop app that can pass through NAT network, when I have no rights to configure port mapping.
Just tried PhoneMyPC and uninstalled the PC software. I found that I cannot connect to L2TP VPN on my desktop anymore! error code 789. After system restore I managed to roll back and able to connect to that L2TP VPN again.
I tried it on two desktops, same problem.
I am going to try TeamViewer or Logmein.
I'll throw out another option - Unified Remote -it works really well...very fast and a lot of pre-configured controls for common applications. I love it.
Make sure you get the latest version RC2 as it's way better than the market one.

Splashtop works good but that's more of a remote option,

I use Unified Remote. It does require you install the software on your pc but it works great. It also has built-in remotes for VLC, Powerpoint and many other programs.

Wifi transfers

Hi all,
Has anyone had luck with the lan connection in File Manager HD, from your Xoom to your PC? I have a shared folder on my PC from which I would like to transfer some pictures to my Xoom. I"m missing something as the connection fails. The permissions on the PC are right, I believe. Do I need to enable an FTP or smb server on my win 7 laptop? I need the abillity for wifi transfers to and from my zoom so any other app recommendations are appreciated.
TIA,
Jim

I don't have problems with SMB transfer from both File Manager HD nor ES File Explorer... usually, the key is the login credentials... you'll probably have to check the settings in your Desk pc (maybe firewall too)... as long they're correct and you're in the same LAN, it should not be a problem
(it could be much faster, but at least it works...)
Now I'm using File Expert on my Zoom and an FTP client on my Win7 machine. I'm still trying to get FM HD to work. I've tried every networking trick I know and that is quite. A few.
I'll post back here as soon as I do.

I am using ES File Manager and the obvious needed checking, IP Address (check), LOGON credentials (I forgot I had to log on to the PC so Username and Password)(check). I have my D:\ shared in Windows so maybe that is the missing link ?
I get a connection and all the folders that show up are empty. The folder names, however, are correct.

I haven't tried this yet but I have tried other bluetooth like tethering apps and it almost always crashes as if there is some library missing on the gear that it needs.
I was able to get the app installed and running on both devices. No success with internet sharing though...

Part of the issue is that open garden requires proxies in Firefox. Sadly you cannot access the settings to manually configure them. OG does have an auto add but only if you can access the internet.:banghead:

lock device on boot

Hello, Im running a Malaysk ROM and I dont find a solution to lock the device on boot. For example requesting a PIN o similar way commonly used on the phones.
I booked a car park into airport for the next Saturday and they need to have car keys in order to could move the car. In that way, when they access the car, they also could access to the Radio so potentially they could read my email, calendar, chat and also using internet with my chrome saved password......
Any suggestion?
If you have your phone and are away from your car they have no access to its data. Maybe only your contacts if you uploaded them to the hu.

Yes but its not so hard to connect the radio to the park wifi or them phone tethering. Ty
Any answer on this?
Try Tasker with Secure Settings plugin. I've installed a switch in the ACC line and hidden it from view.

Has anyone tried tasker? It seems that you have to pay for this.

I use it on a mobile phone for something else, it's only £2.99 but is brilliant.
