[Q] Can't boot to recovery after flashing new recovery - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Edit: Apparently I had to install TWRP 3 times before it would work. I'm all good now.
I wanted to try out TWRP instead of CWM, and after flashing, I can boot to fastboot, but when I try to go to recovery, I see the twrp logo for a few seconds, then it just reboots and tries do a regular boot. The regular boot fails and it tries a recovery boot, which fails and the cycle starts again.
I have been searching these forums and the wider web for an hour but am not finding anything to work. I can do SDK things but only fastboot. adb devices shows no information. fastboot getvar all fails after spitting out some information. Here's the output:
Code:
$ ./fastboot getvar all

Is there any way to recover from this? I am at wits end here, folks. Please help me out. Thank you.

[Q] Failed firmare.zip flash, stuck in 4 exclamation marks

Hey all,
I've just had an failed firmware.zip flash (as said I've done this twice) now my HTC One is stuck on 4 exclamation marks screen.
Phone was a Three UK model, with stock rooted ROM (S-ON Android 4.1.2) I by mistake have tried to flash firmware.zip from extracted from my OTA update to android 4.2.2
Here's output from getvar all:
Code:
(bootloader) version: 0.5

Now I'm little bit stuck, how can I recover my phone from this, whatever to stock 4.2.1 or updated 4.2.2 android?
I would appreciate any help & clues, thanks!

s-on hboot 1.54, no access to OS

I think I messed up big time:
c:\droid\sdk\platform-tools>fastboot getvar all

(bootloader) version-baseband: 4T.21.3218.21

I was trying to factory reset to remove device encryption and I am just dumb, really really dumb...
I typed in: fastboot oem writesecureflag 3
So now my device is on 1.54 with S-ON. I can't run rumrunner as it wants access to ADB, my ATT HTC One was the latest GPE and encrypted and now for some reason will not boot into the OS. I've tried unlocking via htcdev and I get a success message in fastboot but nothing changes. Factory reset does nothing, and I can't install the RUU.zip or use the RUU.exe, I get an error stating the signature verification failed. I get that sig verification failed with an insertcoin ROM as well. Can anyone help me?

Do you have stock or custom recovery installed?
I had TWRP installed but now it will not boot to it via the recovery option in hboot, it just goes back into the loading google boot loop. I just tried to repush TWRP to the device but got FAILED (remote: signature verify fail)
Brought the phone to ATT and they actually gave me another one. Lesson learned.

Boot Loop

Hey guys,
My M7 seems to be stuck in a boot loop. When I start it I get the HTC logo, then the screen will turn off and it'll restart. I can still access fastboot. I can flash clockwork mod and boot to it with occasional success but I haven't gotten TWRP to work. I can access adb through clockwork though so maybe that can be useful. I've tried flashing the latest RUU and a couple older versions via fastboot; usually I can get the phone to boot for a couple of minutes and then it will restart and be back in the bootloop. I have s-off and the bootloader is unlocked currently. I've also tried flashing the RUU relocked, no success.
I have the AT&T 32GB version in black. Here's the fastboot getvar all response:
C:\fastboot>fastboot getvar all
(bootloader) version: 0.5
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.44.0000
(bootloader) version-baseband: 4A.17.3250.20
(bootloader) version-cpld: None

(bootloader) security: off
(bootloader) build-mode: SHIP
(bootloader) boot-mode: FASTBOOT
getvar:all FAILED (status read failed (Too many links))

The last thing I tried to do is flash an old RUU that's why the software version is old. I starting having these problems when I was on version 7.23 I believe. If anyone has some ideas for me I'd appreciate it!
