Open new... Then hit add/remove objects. Check what you want on your display... I checked hour, minute, PM am, clock separator, day of month, month, year, battery level, and week bar.
Once you have what you want, go to edit objects. You will see them all on top of each other. You will see a list of all your choices, click on each one to modify. example... Click on hour... Once you hit hour, more options will show including position size and color to name a few. Edit as you want... Then do the same with all the other choices you made.
Takes some time and getting use to but once you know how, pretty easy.

Did u have to root ur gear to get the uccw? if so did u also install custom rom? Thanks
Sent from my SM-N900T using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

yes you have to root gear with custom rom.. see Nul11.1 rom its easy..
some of my watch faces..
basically you goto this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1610908
and admire Niteowl's amazing work!!!

It is probably easier to make a clock face on your phone and then port it over to your gear. That's what I did

Just have to adb enabled to push it to the gear and I believe you have to be running a launcher like nova. I will say go rooted and null ROM it makes the watch that much more awesome.

Could Someone please make a gear watch these faces, they are uccw widgets but it's only avaliable as a zip file and I can't figure out how to get it to work on the gear. Please help, I've been trying for almost 2 weeks. If anyone can get it to work on the gear as a uccw widget or watch styler widget, that would be great.

create a new analogue watch in Watch Styler on your phone (doesn't matter what style/hands etc ..... as long as it is an analogue watch
download and extract the attached
copy to /sdcard/Android/data/com.omnitel.appcessory.gear.watchstyler.manager/theme
restart watch style and apply

Does anyone know of a way to have a working second hand with UCCW widgets?

For anyone running Nova Launch on their Gear...
How can we get some sort of actual watch functionality?
It's cool having a full-fledged launcher on my watch, but it would also be
pretty damn nifty to have a clock on my watch
Widgets are no-go, so that's out of the question...
Is a lockscreen the answer? and how could that be arranged?
I was able to get the clock/weather widget on Go Launcher Ex. The weather isn't working, but the clock is a go.

With novalauncher, move the app apk after installing from data/app to system/app and reboot. Then you can use widgets. Minimalistic text is a good widget to start with because you can customize everything about the time, date, battery etc. It was easier to set it up on my phone, export the config, push it to the watch and import it.

Looks very good!
Did You succeed with creating shortcuts to specific contacts or "quick dial" list or in any other way to see "all contacts" AND "preferred contacts" ?
I am kind of waiting for Samsung to update the firmware, but as this is not happening - I will probably root and install NOVA as I use it on Note3 anyway
Battery widget JINASYS is also very nice.
What about power use with the background - did You notice if it is shorter? - amoled screen draw no power when it is black, so I'd rather keep the background black.

You can add shortcuts, widgets, quick dials and basically anything you can do on your phone when you have the APK in the system directory. Also I am getting 2-3 days battery life from my gear atm, my wallpaper is now mostly white and it still doesn't affect it very much. The latest firmware update for the gear did wonders for battery usage.

my default home screen is the screen with the clock.
it's using alarm clock widget with date (very light on battery).
i'm using some minimal battery widget to display current battery left status.
i also have some custom hotspots configured like top left corner takes me to notifications, and bottom right starts recording.
google calendar widget to show upcoming agenda
Hi All,
I'm new to XDA Forums in regards to posting but have used the many informative posts to root my gear and flash the Null ROM. In fact I bought my gear only because of the Null ROM which enables the use of UCCW which I have enjoyed using and creating widgets for a while now.
I found a watch I really like called the 4N watch ( link 4nparis.com ) which uses 10 discs which rotate to display the time but is way way out of my price bracket - $180,000. There are only around 14 in the world so I thought I would develop it for UCCW and use the Gear to display it. I have since caught the bug to keep creating others.
I have a few UCCW projects for the gear in progress but have attached pics of projects that are completed.
So Far
1./4N
2./ Devon Tread 2
3./ Harry Winston Opus 12
4./ Bell & Ross GMT (currently configured as GMT +1)
Hope to post some more in the near future.

Try no icon and use gesture (depending on the launcher). The rest of your screen is six icons across except the dock. For example I use down swipe gesture to expand notifications, up swipe to open app drawer (with animation set to open app drawer from bottom of the screen), double tap to sleep, two finger swipe for quick settings.

I use the advanced reboot in gravitybox but that requires Xposed. I don't know how you feel about that cause I know some people just hate it. You can also get an app like terminal emulator and type su to grant superuser then type reboot. There might also be an app in the play store that could do it but I don't use those. Someone else would have to suggest one of those.
Is using Xposed a bad thing? If not I will throw it on this phone...

It depends on who you ask. I say research it and try it if you want. Just make a backup right before you install it and you can restore that if you don't like it. But personally, I don't think it's as bad as some people say.
