htc Media Link problem playing music from htc Music app - Sprint HTC One (M7)

Hello everyone,
I'm having a problem playing music from my device using the htc Music app.
When I had the Evo 4g LTE, it worked fine. When I would connect my phone to the media link and play a song, the media link would stop mirroring my device and bring a screen up specific to the music app.
Now with my One, it just continues to mirror my phone, which makes the playback incredibly unreliable.
Is this a problem with the ROM that I'm using, or just with the One in general?
Thanks for your feedback!

Is there a way to push HTC streaming media player from Desire to Nexus?

I found that Lukluk application plays better with with HTC media player as well as jetflicks tv app. It allows me to leave the app and come back to pick up watching where I left off. Nexus media player doesn't. Any Help?

Click to collapse
If this is possible, it's not gonna happen anytime soon... HTC media player is built using and runs on the HTC customised framework [Rosie]... it will not runn on the stock android framework... and currently, we have no means of porting the HTC framework to the stock Nexus ROM...

Music and Icons :x

Hey guys, I just got my HTC One today and I'm having some weird issues with it. I was hoping someone here could help me out.
Before switching to the HTC One, I put all my music on Dropbox so I could make sure to add it once my phone was up and running.
So, I go to Dropbox and download a song, and when I try to play it, it says "Music playback error: Couldn't play the track you requested."
It does this to some my videos too.
The music files are mp3, which my Note II had no issues playing.
I would really like to get this fixed. Thanks everyone!
(Side note, if I upload all my songs to the Google Music and do the "Upload 20,000 of your own collection free" option, can I play them from my HTC One while offline? I really don't want it constantly connected and destroying my already short battery life.)
I would highly suggest Google music, you can "pin" songs, albums, artists or playlists, for offline use. Hope this helps!

[Q] HTC One and Media Link Google Play Music Won't Stream Music

I am trying to stream google play music from my HTC One to Media Link - but it won't play a song while connected to media link. Works fine when not connected to Media Link. I can force it to play by disconnecting from Media Link start playing a song on Google Play then connect to Media Link - but then it only lasts for that one song. Anyone else have this same problem or have any ideas? PowerAmp works fine and all other streaming including netflix.

[Q] What equalizers work w/the the HTC One music player

I notice that the various equalizers and volume controls don't work w/the HTC One music player. All the ones I've tried work fine w/Google Play Music player, but do nothing for the HTC One player. Are there any that work? The Beats On/Off is not good enough.
Thanks,
Steve
