Just go to settings, location and security, screenlock (I'm not quite sure about the english menus) and choose pattern instead of none
kind regards, by the way it's not dev-related :>

Thanks very much
apply the mod ... works fine ... 2 bugs:
1. menu key unlocks the phone
2. long press power returns menu to shutdown
can you fix this?
i really like it ... please fix it ...
your the best ... thx!!
it's supposed to be like that.
And it shouldn't be a problem, no way you would unlock the phone in your pocket anyway.
First you would have to accidentally push the power button, then you would accidentally have someone's finger in your pocket to push the menu button. And what's the chances of both happening in the same five seconds?

Restart on menu?

Hi all, just got one of these nice phones, and noticed that when pressing the "power button" I only have "Power Off" , "Airplane Mode".
Where, and how can I add both Screenshot, and Restart ((reboot)) to the menu?
Seems crazy I have to Power off then restart the phone for a simple re-boot.
Thanks in advance.

If you upgrade to official 4.4 you'll have at least the screenshot option. For having the restart option you need root

I actually just wrote up an article about how to disable the capacitive buttons
- http://www.androidexplained.com/galaxy-s6-disable-capacitive-buttons/
and I'm working on one for the software navigation too. I'll edit here with a link when it's published

I have done this to all my Samsung phones,,,is there a way to enable the menu softkey as well?

In the Pie Control application, there is a option to set a button as the menu key(it requires root access). So you could create a fourth button in the pie controls app or you could even set one of your pre-set buttons to execute the menu key when a long-press is detected on it
Cool is there a way to show the stock menu softkey without using pie?

Very nice but.......it makes double tab home button camera to stop working and night clock also gets messed up. Also it makes the phone detect like if there were a magnetic cover on it.

I want to add it in our native power menu. In quick reboot we have to open the app. I want to go to add the recovery and screenshot option to g4's own power menu.
