rooted and s-off t-mobile htc one. I downloaded the new arhd 5.1 and flashed it without backing up. Now whenever I try to boot the phone it just boots to the white htc one screen, goes black, and then says starting recovery and boots into recovery. When I try to connect to my computer w/usb the computer doesn't recognize anything's there. So I can't flash any other rom or anything. I can't boot my phone. Please help, I'm not an expert with android so try to explain things kind of simply.
please, if anyone could help. I'm panicking, I really just want my phone to work again.

Ok so I rooted my hero, but i accidentally tried to load a custom rom with out flashing a recovery image. So when i tried to do that, i forgot to uncheck the debugging setting. so basically its stuck on the htc screen. i can boot into recovery mode if i hold down the volume down button, but if i hit reboot, it goes back to the htc screen.
when i went into recovery mode, i read one of the lines and it says that there is no recovery image. i tried to run the stock RUU, but my computer will not recognize the device so the RUU wont run. does anyone have any ideas?
any help is appreciated. thanks
have you install HTC sync? if not go to sprint.com/download and then smartphone then pick your phone you should see HTC sync

yeah, i got that. i was able to flash the RUU, but it didnt solve my problem. still gets stuck at the htc screen.
good thing is that i can still get to the recovery screen.
i even tried flashing the sprint 2.1 ruu, but the problem remains. now the htc screen is white with green letters.
EDIT:
a couple of things i noticed. when the recovery mode first starts running, it says something like checking sd card...then its says no image.
also, up at the top left of the screen, third line. it says "touch panel-fail" struck me as odd.
Try this. Not sure if it will work since you flashed the 2.1 RUU, but it's worth a try.
Dear android experts,
I had CM 5.0.7 installed on my HTC Dream, and I stupidly installed ROM Manager, wanting to upgrate to CM 5.0.8, and used the application to do a backup - after I clicked the 'backup' function, the phone rebooted, and is now stuck on the startup logo (and has been stuck for the last hour). I have already tried pulling out the battery and booting the phone into recovery mode, however it cannot access recovery mode, and still hangs at the startup logo. Is there any way to get past this startup logo, or is there no hope for my phone? Is there any way to push the phone into recovery mode via adb? I am a complete amateur, who follows step-by-step instructions - please help me!
P.S. If this tells you anything, while my phone is stuck at the startup T-mobile logo, if I plug in the USB cable, a message on a red background appears at the top of the 'G1 T-mobile' logo, saying 'FASTBOOT USB'.
P.P.S. In case this is a detail that could help me, while my phone is in Fastboot Mode, I have four options available:
HBoot Mode
Reset Device
Restart to HBoot
Power Down
Could any of these help me?

This thread is old, and OP is ignorant and wants to blame ROM Manager for his own problems. If you can't get into recovery, chances are you are using one built for another phone. Find the one for the G1.
Or ran into the know issue of cm5.0.7 that fash_image sometimes (more than not) fails.. thus applications using it sometimes fail.
But you have danger spl right? So flash the recovery via fastboot.. and if you don't have fastboot/adb and intended to run these custom roms its about time you installed it.
I recently tried to update HTC HD7 firmware after a hang issue. I had hard reset the phone and the phone now boots in bootloader mode. I cannot exit the bootloader mode. Also, I may have tried flashing the device with RUU_Schubert_hTC_Asia_WWE_2.20.841.02_Radio_5.65.09.11a_22.44.50.15_NoDo
When the ROM version of the phone is 2250.09.12302.707. Now my phone is unusable. It starts in bootloader mode any attempt to flash it with other 707 ROMs RUU_Schubert_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.57.707.02_Radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50.10_Signed_SCHUBERT_RELEASE fails with a update error 270: saying the ROM file is corrupt please help. My phone is unbranded.
Thanks,
Please help

Unfortunately as a noob to the forums I can't post links. Add http to the above to make it into a link.
I had the same problem, but i managed to solve!!!
Invert the flash order from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1000520
Flash b2 (big one) first and ignore the error then flash b1 (small one) and the phone will boot
Now guys my phone is toast. It does not work beyond the bootloader mode. I tried flashing the device but the process gets stuck at 0%. I tried formatting the SD card but the same tricolor boot screen appears. What the hell has gone wrong? Anyone who can help me thanks a million. I would really appreciate it.
did you try flashing one of these 707 roms ?

if u stuck in bootloader mode, pull out the battery , and install it back again
It could be a faulty USB port during the flash process. Try another USB port.
Alright, i have an extreme problem with my HTC One s. It is rooted. I was trying to flash my first ROM, but somewhere in the process i did something wrong, and it wouldnt go past the htc splash screen. I restored to my backup, but was still not able to get past the splash screen. I then accidentally hit factory reset at the hboot menu, and now my phone has no OS, the sd card gets an error mounting, and my computer wont recognize my phone. I have read ways to get past the bootloop, but they need me to connect my phone to my computer, but i cant! Can anyone help me???
Umm this is the HTC M7 forum.
Hi, I am new to the whole flashing rom.
I had my HTC One unlocked, rooted via TWRP, and flashed a HTC One Maximus HD rom. After followed through the installation. It rebooted the phone, and it just stuck in fastboot screen. I tried to go into recovery but it just restart the phone and went back to fastboot screen. Same thing happened when I tried to factory reset. I can't even let my computer recognize my phone when I plug it in. I looked through some forum but nothing seems to help.
Could somebody shine some light for me
