Hello! I have an HTC Diamond 2 with original (from HTC site) Wm 6.5.
So how all we know the Market is off to WM 6.5 .
And facebook and Twitter stoped working ( i dont know why)
Is there any form to fix this problem?
I am using XDAndroid (gingerbread 2.3.3 i think?) now but it takes me too much battery and thats not cool. After 5h with not too much use the battery is gone.
Any suggestions?

I have and it froze and never worked for me..it's ashame, it look so nice!
Did you download NETCF 2.0
It is required to be installed for Google Navigator to work.
The last time I used google navigator it used direct3d and if it still does its going to run really slow because there is no hardware support on the kaiser yet.

Yes I tried it and it ran really really slow...not very responsive.

Im looking to flash a new ROM onto my Wing for the 1st time and I'd like to kind of take baby steps. I believe HardSPL can lead to bricking and im not really willing to take that chance, So I need a SoftSPL ROM because I just cant put up with how slow the Stock Wing ROM is with the software I have installed.I type 3x faster than the letters show up on the screen
Im looking for a rom WM 6.0 or 6.1 doesn't matter but 6.1 would be cool I would also like to have to do as little after install fixes as possible. I know some ROMS have bluetooth and mms issues that Id rather not have to fix if possible.
Here is what I have installed on the stock ROM, maybe this list can help you see what I need/want in a ROM

Look at the Open Touch Series. Its USPL so you dont have to hard SPL your phone. I currently use 4.0 Lite and it works great for me. 5.0 is currently in the process of being released I beleive some time this week. Check it out...

Yeah, I agree. I would def. check out the open touch series. Easy to flash to, and comes with a lot of goodies.
I have been using the herald-uspl flashcenter for all the rom I found on this board, including opentouch, touch-it, ASerg, ITSPapaBlack, etc, without hardspl.
Thanks guys, I went with the Open Touch 4.0 Lite and so far im happy with it. MUCH MUCH faster then the TMO Rom

Has anyone tried Skype on their Diamond? Mine tries to run and gives me an error. I had the same problem when I upgraded my Tytn II to WM 6.1 and after that I installed Dyffy's version of WM and got it to work. Maybe HTC's Rom isn't designed for Skype???

Version problem
It worked fine on my (possibly) pre-release UK grey imported Diamond 1.34.831.1 ROM. Once I upgraded to the 1.37.707.1 ROM Skype no longer starts. Crashes NK.exe which is not a nice thing to do to the Kernel.

Do you happen to have a dump of this rom so we could perhaps analyze the differences?
I have read somewhere that Skype doesn't work on WM6.1, but your pre-release diamond had WM6.1 right? So the 6.1 compatibility issue is out of the question then...
damn it works on my good old htc 3300 but not diamond
I have skype working on all my kaiser roms so i will try to get it working on diamond not tested yet though

I have skype working on HTC diamond and PDAVIET Diamond rom.
Hey guys, tried on my htc Diamond also, not working. It freezes the window when launching the application and i'm using Elite 2.0.
it's a WM 6.1 issue go to the skype support forum and see for yourself.
Skype on Diamond already solved ???
Maybe you find a working version anywhere in the net...
You could use fring in the meantime.

Hi. Your skype_w6.1 test works perfect. Only problem is tat it dosen't install an icon i programs. Anyone knows haw to make shortcuts to the program in the programs folder. ?

On my Diamond it works perfect. I have the icon in Programs. If you don't have it you can create a shortcut of skype from ,,programs'' folder in ,,windows - start menu-programs'' folder.
v.2.2.0.37 works great, got it from the Skype site
Hey guys I jus got winmo 6.5 last week and found that texting /typing in calendar is a real 'female dog' because after every space winmo 6.5 requires u to wait about 2-3 seconds or it will completely mess up ur next word. Any suggestions?
I am currently dealing with same problem. I've tried every setting, still there. I've had other 6.5 ROMs and not had this problem before.

I saw this (the same as you describe I think) only in DaG 21815 build (WM65_21815_Da_G_Clean_ROM_without_MSVC.rar).
I think it's OK again in 23001 (Fuze-CleanROM-23001-no-msvc.rar.)
I never saw it in a build pre 21815. Bl00dy annoying!
/edit. Actually I just re read your symptoms and mine were different. After each space in certain apps the cursor would "hop" back to be after the first character in a word......
I just moved to the same ROM next build(RRE Series 6 WM 6.5 23001 build 23001.5.0.60 V7 RC1) and it is now gone.

I've returned from Android (Xperia SE X8) to WM6.5 on Diamond (Fodd ROM) and I Like it! Android is just for sotial networks (But ws Facebook and HTC Peep they almost the same functionality) and there are lots of games on Android. Yes, so much games - but I don't like gamin on the smartphone (and on my notebook too), I want just good apps for office and PDF. Seriously, Documents To Go on Android is CRAP and Adobe Reader is too...
And love Manila 2.5 vs twiter tab (HTC Peep) - great animation, good functionality. And Diamond's look makes me happier

I still use 6.1 on the Diamond (YEAH I'M A DINOSAUR) and I'm thinking about migrating to Android in the future but.. you made me change ideas grrrr
