Hi, I just deodexed my stock rom (with tweaks of course) and was looking to install the Jewremy mod however it hasn't been updated since the last official release. Does anyone have a working one for 5.7.906? Or can someone point me at a tweak to do this myself?
Yes I would be very interested in this mod on 906 also

I tweeted jewremy asking if he could update. He said yes but it would take a while. Stay tuned

What is this jewremy mod? Could you explain what does it do?

Liberty 2.0 for gb
Liberty is no longer supported and does have a few annoying bugs still left on it.
I used to use it ALL the time but since it hasn't been updated in forever; meh.
I do see that Maveric 4.0 had the same style drop down; don't know how I can apply it though to the 906 base.
Running a self deodexed stock 906 rom with many customizations so I just want that updated notification script and I am good to go.
jediman
you should see if you can make those customization to mavrom. Its as stable as stock, faster, and updated with the latest firmwares within days of them being released
I'm new to this and have it rooted, currently i have broken out with blitzkrieg, wondering where i could find any different ROMs
thank you
Depends on what software you have but BrokenOut is pretty much it unfortunately.

Probably could have left "for now" off of that. If it doesn't have more development by now, it never will.

I AM working on some stuff. 3 themes and kernel. Thank you very much.
Quote of the day: "Optimism brings about innovation."
Not the other way around, bro.
****btw CM9 is STILL in development for our LG Revolution.
Sorry if I seem skeptical. Its just that there was talk about cyanogen last year and nothing much ever came of it, nor has much ever came of the other rumored Roms that were talked about. I hope I'm proved wrong because no Android should have only one developer.

Well.... there is Broken Out 3.0 which opened the door for roming on this device....
Eclipse Rom.... which was second
Black Plague 1.0 which is IMO the best of the options.... including the kernel that comes as a separate flashable zip .... it has the best on battery life as well as lagfree performance and undervolting.... also has a higher charge rate included.... and zram swap enabled....
There is also Holo 3.2.6 which is essentially a themed rom.....
Ninjroid is an option as well....
Oh and Plagued Optimus V1....
You can find all these here..... it just takes a bit of searching and you will have everything you need at your finger tips....
Oh and kernel wise .... there is a flashable blitzkrieg ..... plague kernel.... and popcorn kernel....
this is incomplete but it does list the best of the best

are there any ICS roms for the LG Spectrum that anyone knows of? I've heard of leaks about updates for it, but I can't find anything out about it. thanks

The leak ends in bricks and wiped IMEI blocks... No ics roms because the leak was too buggy .... It's fixable after wiping the IMEI but you get no 4g and almost no functionality

I'm having zero luck getting any of the CM 10.x ROMs to load on my Spectrum. Someone over at CM said to check for updated bootloaders and radios. Does anybody know what the latest updates are?
I'm running with CWM 6.x for recovery.
Thanks in advance for any pointers!!
ROM Porting
Why can't anyone work on porting these ROM's to the vs930
why post about the vs920 here?
i am curious as to why this phone does not have its own thread. it needs to be available in the device selection list and i intend to make it happen. i cant find it except by using the general search tool. i cant find old roms for the phone here (gingerbread rom files, mirrors or anything helpful to restore to stock) so that we can do something useful for it.
Some of you may know me form the TF700 and TF300 Asus forums on XDA.
I have been able to significantly speed up those devices by rebuilding scrosler's CleanROM stock base and tweaking it. I have just successfully done the same on the N7 version and it is flying.
Now I need a few testers to make sure it works for all. The ROM is ready to go now but I will release it in the next few days pending testing.
Anyone fancy a quick stock N7 rom to test? :fingers-crossed:
Pm me please.

Got enough testers for now! :good: Thanks everyone for the help.

Any plans to add this fix for empty app-mounted directories?
I am running cleanrom 3.0 with leankernel 1.2 and really like both alot. Thanks very much for your efforts.
My only issue is with mounting ext3/ext4 usb sticks and hard drives. They appear to mount using stickmount but the files aren't visible
in Root Browser or ES File explorer.
I'd like to be able to mount them manually using busybox mount/umount and I think what follows may work without relying on stickmount.
Please have a look here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2106480
Is it possible to add either of these patches to your rom and/or kernels?
Thanks again.

Noob questions
Hi,
I'm new here and I need to ask a couple of things. I really want to root the phone and work with it because the battery is killing me with its phenomenally short live.
So, the 2 questions. What rom would you recommend as worth to try? For what I have been reading Paranoid or PAC appears to be the one with almost no problems related to phone operability.
And the second question is where I can find a proper guide on how to root this phone? I am not new to rooting a phone have done that before with an HTC desire and a Galaxy S2 but I am having a hard time finding a proper guide to root the HTC vivid.
Thank you very much for your help and sorry for my noob questions.
There is a super guide in development

Been using Borked, awesome rom.
Borked 2.5 beta is a good choice. For being a beta it doesn't have very many bugs from what i've seen.
PAC, Paranoid Android, and cyanogen mod are all good. I'll give a link to a ton of ROMs that you can try.

I've tried almost every ROM. JB ROMs isn't to att friendly as the in call volume is super low. first on ma list is virtouis inquisition on battery life an performance and sound quality second is darkraider has aroma installer and like 7 kernels to choose from an a whole bunch of install options and if u wanna change any of the kernels are settings offered to u in the install just reflash zip an gives u option to change setting super clean an super easy to use also very good on battery life performance and sound in audio and in call. jb ROMs I like cm10 with sultan kernel developed by a super smart 15 year old xda developer he's the only one working on the volume fix as we speak as and yes fixed a whole bunch of jelly bean ROM problems and the thing that flips my head the most is he don't even own or have a vivid
i'm also running cm10 with sultan kernal. runs great, no issues. if you use it you cant get the most up to date version of gapp's, there's a slightly older version that works with the vivid/cm10 much better
Seriously gotta try borked 3.2, its amazing.

Is anyone using this ROM. Its really quiet here. I've been using this ROM for a few days. Yesterday I left angry birds open and put my phone in my pocket. When I took it out 40 min. later and it was so hot I could hardly hold it. Is this caused from the kernal or something else? Please let me know if there's any thing I can do to stop this.

I have no clue as I don't use tethering and hadn't tested that in my quick run of the build.

I'm the new gummy maintainer for m7spr, so it is 'official' but the build is done on my personal box and not in jenkens yet and due to that it's "unofficial". I'm still testing and tweaking before I submit all the patches for our device, once i'm done it'll be in the jenkens build system and I believe it'll have automatic nightlies/weeklys.
And yes it's 4.4.2.
