[Q] CM9 ICS - Update to fix existing key issues

All,
I recently upgraded my Ace to CM 9.1 from here(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1868121). I am facing some critical problems though if someone can help -
Details -
Baseband - DDKQ8
Kernel - 2.6.37.6-1cs+
CM - 9-20121124-UNOFFICIAL-cooper
Issues -
1. Camera is unstable and stops while taking images. Video recording does not work - hangs
2. Galary is unstable too. Hangs and terminates. Photo viewer is not so smooth
Due to camera issue, scanner is not working. does someone has a solution to these please?
Are we going to get any update to ICS to fix these issues or development on CM9 is closed?

Welcome to CM xDDD.
Try CM10.0 by Mardon, Oldroid or bieltv3, CM9 by Wayland is an old proyect

Thanks but is that stable, tested? How do I get the link? CM9 will not get any further updates?

CM9 proyect was abandoned because CM Team updated the sources, CM10 is more stable than CM9 so try Mardon stable release e.g. and judge for yourself

[Q] CM 10.2

Hi All,
I remember that we will not be receiving next major version of Android by CM becoz of lack of NEON instructions. I only wonder, if we will still get CM 10.2 or our last version will be CM 10.1.
Can anybody with CM insider knowledge answer?
I can only see that there was not created CM10.2 branches in our P990 github related repositories, which is bad sign to me.
Edit: Answer is Yes, CM10.1 is last version.

CM 10.1 seems to be the latest official version of cyanogenmod. But just look at all the gifted developers in the development thread. I guess someone will get it working on our device .
I think even some time ago pengus or tonyp mentioned that they like the challenge ....:thumbup:

Yes, I have read tonyp's thread and there was mentioned that CM team officially won't support 10.2 for our phone. But I hope Pengus and Tonyp will make something But it's quite possible that it will be a little bit unstable and glitchy...

nope it isn't if you watch the developer thread you see cm10.2 only camera doesn't work yet but further it is smooth and stable i am posting this cause you may didn't see it

Thanks, I know about it. But unfortunately it will not be official CM, only experimental.
It's great that there are still developers who want to keep our device up to date :fingers-crossed: , but looks like it's time to look around for next future device.

it isn't really experimental only the camera doesn't work and all cm10.1 bugs are included but cm10.2 is smoother and hdmi is partly fixed

[Q] RIL problems

[ROM][4.4.0] CyanogenMod 11.0 [DAILY UPDATES] - RIL is still present problems, especially when making or answering a call (frequently), it should be a priority Maclaw!!!!

The guy just fixed the camera and he is really fast about solving the problems i bet we will have a bug free rom before january

Experiencing call bug on 5.1.1 roms mi3

Experiencing call failure
After few seconds on call through sim phone gets stuck and can't hear any voice nor it is going but call isn't ending. all then needed to hold power button for 10seconds to restart my phone
What to do? Any fix?
Not on asop rom

Tried 4+ ROMS, all with call bug

Try ivan rom.. Last time i use with bluetooth speaker, it work flawless..

Ivan Rom is best I guess . But I miss theme engines of cm. Now switched to aicp. Haven't had call bug yet.flashed stuxnet.

Forgot to mention; I was on Ivan's Kitkat ROM, perfect.
After that tried a few Lollipop versions ... no BT connection in the car.
Last night I went AOKP : AICP, no problems so far ... BT connection working as well.

Hi Inonotting (you seem to know a lot) I have the BT connection problem as well. you mention the AOKP : AICP Rom, I had a look but not sure which one that is, can you be a bit more specific, than I can flash that Rom as well (Btw was using the official Mi3 Rom, but the last version has the BT bug again!)

looking for CM-12.1.1-20160822-nightly-m7 or newer cm 12.1.1

Hi,
I'm looking for the cyanogenmod 12.1.1 nightly build from 2016-08-22 or newer.
The reason for a 12.1 build is that i'm facing wifi problems with wifi roaming on cm13, but the only 12.1 builds i have flying on my disk are older than that and they have reboots in the most random situations making them useless in everyday usage.
with the 20160822 build i had not a single issue.

hey man, is there a chance to share your last cm12.1 version?
the last version i've managed to find is the "stable" 20151007, which is not that stable, and the 20160822 i've found is verizon one (i have the international version).
i love all the new fancy mm/nougat versions, but they have the mic problem during voice calls (the noise cancl. mic bug), which is the main phone feature after all.
all other lollipop versions work (sense or gpe), but the can be painfully laggy sometimes. i've always used cm/los and it's awesome.
