Has anyone else managed to get the FB status updates in their contacts yet.
Mine is greyed out and as you can see I have enabled FBIX and do have the FB contacts synced.
In the past in various Xperia devices I know this takes some time to appear, but it has never appeared on my Xperia Z1 yet...

I got FB and Xperia with FB synced, Status updates are available. I can choose from "view profile", "all", and "off".
It is working too, I am able see some recent status entry's directly in the contacts list.
Not sure what I am doing different compared to you though?

Anyone had problems with this on KK.
I still have never managed to get the greyed out box to appear. It has on previous phones and previous android versions on my Z1, but never on 4.3 or 4.4.
EDIT, I no longer use hax sync since the dev broke it on purpose and got a job with FB

I've tried deleting my google account and resyncing everything but it's still there.
There are some SW available, which shows caller info on incoming/outgoing call.
Have installed any stuff like this?
Goto Settings > Call > Phone Number Locator and turn off Enable PNL
Seems to be something setup for Chinese Note users that doesn't work anywhere else!

First of all, hello everyone! I recently got the HTC one m8 as an upgrade from the galaxy nexus. (This phone is so amazing, Jesus help me lmao) coming from a nexus, flashing and things are pretty normal for me. I know most terminology and I've already got this thing rooted and s-off'ed so I can fix the issues I did have with the phone (like the millions of system status icons in the status bar with no room for my notifications) . I can't get enough of this phone lol.
Anyway, into the small issue I have.
Contacts that don't have pictures are linked to my Facebook contacts.
In other texting apps (i don't like stock app for very nitpicky reasons) contacts that are linked don't show pictures, is there a way to fix this? Aside from downloading everyone's picture.

Since past many weeks Whatsapp is behaving pretty slow.
Esp. on some chat/conversations. Entering/viewing into that chat and exiting that chat is taking lot of time.

This is happening only to certain chats in Whatsapp.
Have already tried "Clear all conversation" options but no change for those particular chat.
What could be wrong and what can be done?
Phone and mmc is 50% free. And no slowness on phone operation or while using others apps.
Like android, here in the WP there isnt any option like Clear data or Clear cache.
Whatsapp is already updated to its latest version.
Please help....
Archive the messages under Settings > Chat settings and it should be ok. You can access the archived messages under menu > archived chats.
It seems to be a bug and this is the only solution that I researched for now.

Hello, so I've had quiet a weird experience with Facebook Messenger. My notifications never come through. They used to be just delayed by 2 minutes, but now they don't come through at all. I decided to try again, and as soon as I installed messenger and logged in, a werid blue tab up the top says "notifications are off until 10 am" (refer to screenshot below) I never turned notifications off since I just installed the app, and when I press "turn on" the notifications come through for a couple minutes and then the blue tab will show up again saying the exact same thing. Can anyone at all help?? It would be so so appreciated since I use messenger every day!

So a day or so before I had a notification of app updates I noticed something with messenger I hadn't noticed since I've been using the phone. Normally if I get a text message and I pull down my notification I just see the most recent message. However all the sudden I saw the last few, mine included, with 'you' in blue.
Once I update messenger I haven't seen it again. I went looking online thinking I wouldn't be able to describe it properly in google to find it but I did. This is a screen shot talking about a much older messenger update for Android N.
