Did you try clicking on the X on the little half circle that pops up when you do click the arrow? It closes the option for the duration of that session.

Internet Browser [stock]

Can we create an exit button for the browser somehow or am I missing something? I hate when I hit the back button thinking I'm exiting out when really I'm double posting, double purchasing, double downloading. Home buttonĀ»Task managerĀ» end internet seems like the only option. Any thoughts?

Sorry, it does. If you tap and hold it exits.
Very interesting. Had no idea. Still wish there was an exit button. Thanks anyway, joe

There is. Menu - exit. Or tap and hold return.

Wtf is this shortcut that keeps popping up.

Seems like every day or so I get this random shortcut as well as a notification to download some app of the day. I can't figure out what's making the notification/shortcut. Any ideas of what it can be? I posted a pic and you can see the shortcut in the middle of my home screen.

That must be an app you have downloaded. Some of them have auto run when android loads, and then they 'push' a notification message (ad) , or put a shortcut on your home screen. I used to have an MP3 Downloader app that did that. There is an app in the market that disables the auto run from these apps but I forgot what it was called.
I figured that was it, just don't know what app it might be.

Download Adpush (I think that's what it's called) and it will scan for spyware-ish apps like that and tell you which one is doing it.

If your on stock Touchwiz then open app drawer, press menu, then press edit. Then simply drag the chrome icon to the dock.
Done

Tap and hold works on the icons on bottom. Then move the old icon to trash or a empty slot and tap hold the chrome to move it to the quick bar on any place you want

Damn. I guess telus has that feature disabled on their touchwiz. Neither option worked for me.

What you mean by "close app on KK"?
Just press back button on navigation bar and if you want to kill apps from recents press third button on navigation bar and swipe them away...
