Well, I'm New on android environment, first device, and although I have modded many Motorola's and Sony Ericsson's phones, **** changes fast and I'm really outdated.
So, the problem is, I don't have a internet connection home, so I have downloaded all the stuff I need to root my XSP, but when I put it on debug usb mode, or doesn't install c5303 device that appear on device manager.
I did some search and I found that only pc companion can install it. I've downloaded that, on my phone to install on the pc, but inside pc companion is support zone, and I can't download that because I stint have internet connection.
I will be thanks if somebody could get the driver it self, or pack support zone into rar file and send me... or do something so that I don't need to go a lan house just to root my phone

Yes, you will lose root with any official update completed using cable and pc

Is there anyway to force an OTA update?
Sent from my LT30a using XDA Premium HD app
Not sure with lt30a, check the forum threads and see if something is there

Does this mean I could keep root when *not* using cable, but OTA?
Additionally I have SuperSU with root survival mode which is my last hope to keep root...
Thanks
Hello everyone.
I want to flash Indian firmware, but my PC crashed. Mobile ODIN seemed a perfect solution, but there's no compatibily yet for our device.
Is there anyone who know when our device will become compatible or is anyone working on a similar project?

Better to stay away from such softwares..flash the normal way.. that way you're atleast sure of doing everything right.. why not use a friends laptop or something? the whole process takes hardly 15mins...

B2c app is not an installable file. Download a fresh copy from LG website, extract, double click and you can use it.
In case you face further issues, post more details.

I need a program that mirrors the screen of your phone to your computer using a USB or WiFi
i use Xperia T 4.1.2 and have no root acess
tnx ppl
you can use TeamViewer..
first, install TeamViewer on your PC.. then install this on phone :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teamviewer.quicksupport.market
no need root
That won't work, it will motor the computer to the phone not the other way round.
The implementation of what the op wants is not available yet. At least not prefecture yet. It is something I have been trying to work on.

The only app with this feature that I know it's called Shou, and it's in very early alpha stage.
Supports screen mirroring via Miracast and AirPlay at the moment.. The dev is however working on DLNA feature

It's not yet on Google Play.. It's here in the General Android App Development section..
However, you can find the latest version at this link.
Hope it works for you.. However, remember that you need to get AirPlay on your PC as well, or it won't work! ^^

Had the same issue, thought it was rom related. But as you are facing the same problem, this one might be device related..
Look in the App Development section for the original thread and do a bug report with logcat there.. The dev needs every help he can get to make it work!

Hey guys, it's safe to root my s3 gt-i9305 (Android 4.3) by Odin mobile? (I know I will lose my warranty). It's the same thing than use Odin for PC? I will use Cf auto root. Thanks in advance

I would appreciate a answer...

you can't use odin mobile unless you're rooted. so you can't use OM to root your phone, because you have no root priviledges required to run OM.
so, as long as you're non-rooted, you have to use desktop odin
But I can't plug the phone to my computer.. Give me always a error!

I moved from Miui to Stock using Odin Mobile and after that I was not able to connect my phone to my computer.
The error message basically says USB device not recognized or malfunctioned.
You can see my post in Q&A - no solution so far.
I am about to give up and trade in my phone with the telco.
are you guys able to connect in download mode? if yes, flash your firmware again using ODIN
maybe there's some issue related to bootloader/firmware version conflict resulting in USB issues

EDIT: just noticed you've got similar answer in the parallel thread an hour ago
But.. I don't want do brick my phone again, I already bricked him once, I just want to root him, nothing else.. If Odon detect the phone and the PC doesn't there is any problem? The probability of brick the phone increase? Thanks
