Anyone know where to find a good case?

I have picked up the Samsung Focus and need to get a case but I can't find any available. Anyone find a good case that is in stock?

Att has incipio barely there cases and they are nice. The bodyglove is terrible

are you talking about the pouches? I don't see any cases

Finding a case for the focus in Canada is especially hard haha. Does anyone know if any Rogers stores have any yet? I got mine off the Rogers site and know they're not available in stores yet.

Those are pouches, the case he is talking about is always on his phone.

There are a few cases on the AT&T website now. There is the Body Glove case that doesn't have cutouts for the buttons. It's ashame since I have the Body Glove case on my Capitivate and it's perfect.

The incipio looks nice. Wonder if the local AT&T store has it yet so if I don't like it I can return it.

the incipio case is the one i have... its ok, if the sides came up over the top edge a little more it would protect the screen but i suppose it would also change the feel of the phone substantially. Additionally the camera button is awkward to use with the case on. That said, it removes easily (but wont fall off) and appears to do an adequate job of protecting the back.

For people with the Incipio cases, does it cover the front at all? I'm looking to get the InvisibleShield too an am worried it may cause issues with how it fits.

The Incipio case is nice, but it does not cover the display at all. From past experience with InvisibleShield, assuming it only covers the glass on the display, the two should work fine together.

Im returning mine. The fitment is sub par... you can see the gap by just looking into the opening for the power button.

I'm gonna hold out for a good case. I'm waiting on Speck, Otterbox, or a Case Mate Tough case to provide a good quality and protective case.

focus case
Im having the same problem finding a good focus case. I'm currently waiting on my replacement phone to come in because my first one already got dropped and busted. It fell flat on its face no more that two feet off the side of my couch and the glass screen cracked in half. I was leaning towards the incipio case but im thinking it really needs to protect the screen, and i dont think a screen shield would do anything to help break the impact of a fall.
It just blows that of the few cases that are out there, most are out of stock / not available yet, and even more are just crappy cases.

I just got my Incipio Feather case. I like it, though I am also ordering a screen protector.

Honestly, i would like to know who makes some of these ridiculous decisions. Who decided to go to market with these 3 cases for a new phone, which is one of ATT's flag ships for a brand new OS. One is pretty much just cosmetic and as many have said, fits poorly. The second is practically a joke, which causes nothing but problems with the hardware keys. And the third is actually pretty nice, except for the fact that it's red! and not even a true red, but a "verges on the edge of pink" red. not that there aren't people who like red or whatever shade of red the case happens to be - i'm sure there are; however, if the case had been black or dark gray, it would've sold far more units instead of still being on the shelf in every store (at least where i live, anyways.)

Question
I am interested in buying this case but I don't like cases that stick to my pocket while pulling them out. Does this matte case have any problems?
I notice that there is a line/indentation around the back of the case - does this trap dirt/lint? I am wondering why they placed it there in the first place.

It goes in and out of my jeans pockets with no issues. If you wear skinny jeans, then I can't help you. It is remarkable to me how little dirt/lint stick to this thing. It is made of hard but flexible rubber, I haven't found anything sticking to it. Keep in mind, its a barely bigger than the phone and it does push up my screen protector in the lower left hand corner. My Spigen case didn't do that, but it made the phone feel huge to me.

It's just a cheap clear one from Amazon. This case really hugs the screen, it adds almost no width at all. Its not really noticeable unless I look for it, I wouldn't think you'll have huge problems.

Spigen cases always seem to add unnecessary bulk, especially width to phones with their cases. And their colored plastic backs scratch and swirl like crazy.
They are extremely overrated and overpriced imo.

Can someone test something out on this case for me?
Are you able to stick 1 Credit Card and 1 photo ID on the inside of the back of the case? Will the case stay on and clip to the phone?
I am doing just that on my current phones case and would like to know what cases I can replicate this on.

Does it seem like it could absorb a drop?

I'm using the black one for at&t and it has the correct mic hole openings and all. The op's pics didn't show the at&t version. Just an fyi.

That lip on the back seems like a weird design choice... i have loved diztronic cases in the past, so I'm sure i'll order this.

At least on the Verizon version there is no lip. It is just a smooth back.

Got my case for the Verizon G2 yesterday, another excellent case from Diztronic. Very nice fit, good texture, face protection and very slim.

Agreed.
Got one for my and the wifes phone....she prefers my Ballistic case (go figure) but the Diztronic is excellent and not bulky.
I might try the Incipio DualPro to see how it compares to the Ballistic.

Another shout out for diztronic. Perfect slim fit and just enough case for me. Mine surprisingly arrived in the mail yesterday. Great case at a great price!

Yep, they're as bulky as an Otterbox. I get a small piece of mind knowing that I could throw my phone across the street if I wanted to and not get a scratch. :good:

I've always just used the standard black otter box defender on every phone since my Dell streak, but that is a HANDSOME case! would you guys say it's equally as protective? screen guard?

It doesnt have a built in screen guard, but they might include one when you buy the case..
Its not as gigantic as the Otterbox, but it protects in a similar way..

The Trident case comes with a screen protector. If you're going to buy an Otterbox, I would get the Commuter. The Defender scratches the hell out of the sides of your phone, because your phone is rubbing up against hard plastic the whole time. With the Commuter, it's the rubber part that goes around your phone, then the hard plastic shell goes around that.
The last Defender I bought absolutely ruined the looks of my old phone.

I've been running Trident for about 4 years now and always will look to them first.

I just got mine last Friday , and while this case is top notch it will probably go back to Amazon. One because of its size( it is bulky) and two the plugs for headphone and charging constantly pop open.

Nice looking case! Trident def makes 'em good, but why don't they make a belt clip holster? That I can see, Seidio isn't making an active case/holster combo for the flex, and Otterbox only has a holster if you go with the defender. So that leaves Ballistic. I have an otterbox commuter case, does anyone know of a belt clip holster that'll fit the commuter? When I had my Note II I got an aftermarket holster that fit my commuter case (that was given to me), but it seems this flex isn't popular enough to warrant the companies going all out for it. Unless I can find a holster for my OB communter case, I'll just buy a ballistic case/holster combo off ebay... amazon doesn't do well with shipping to Puerto Rico!

[Q] LG G4 Cases and the leather back

I think it's a valid question. The videos look like it's slightly thicker to me. So I'm wondering the same thing as OP.

Well I once had an OtterBox, the big thick kind, and I had to peel off the wood-texture decal on the back of my phone or else the plastic shell thingy wouldn't snap together right. I'd imagine the leather back would have some cushion to it that could cause problems. Just unsure if LG has mentioned it or if anyone has heard anything!

Yeah, a hard case and extra screen protection for your device will make it last long.

I just pre-ordered a black leather G4 and I found this case... I think I'm getting the green one. It says it fits the leather back also!

It's true, not all the cases will fit both the plastic and leather backs.

Yeah, I looked at that one but the seller says "[NOT Compatible with LEATHER LG G4" so I opted to pass on that one despite what the 1 reviewer said.

I can confirm that the Defender has a sticker on it that says Not compatible with the Leather G4. Returned mine at work today The LG Quick Circle Case and one other case at Best Buy also said not compatible with the Leather G4.

From otterbox defender questions and answers directly...
"No. OtterBox cases for LG G4 will only be compatible with the standard LG G4 case. The leather LG G4 has a slightly different form factor and will not fit in OtterBox cases for LG G4."

Got my snap on today and it is the official case! I like how they changed it from the G3.. The snap on replaces the back door but fits like the snap on from the G3 that went over the back. It has the lips and corner bumpers that protect the sides. By replacing the back door now it makes it feel like I donthave a case on it except the front cover. Very happy with my purchase. Shipped from the U.K. to Dallas Tx in 4 days.

Did you get the snap on or qi charger case. I read somewhere that the sampan went over your existing back and was not compatible with the leather back

How's the grip on that case compared to the naked phone? It looks quite thin in the pictures which is what I'm looking for.

The grip is almost exactly like the naked phone. If I had to give it a scale from 1-10 (10 being naked phone grip) it would fall around 7-7.5.

To add to the thread, I'm using the Diztronic case now that I've received the modified version with proper mic holes.
Case is fairly bulky as expected but their matte plastic is some of the best in the business and the grip is top notch.
I'm hoping to find an ultra thin case with little to no lip, such as the official LG made Hardshell (or Shield) case for the Nexus 5.

I found a seller on Canadian side of Amazon as well, but no from the U.S site. Odd.

Spigen thin fit, barely know it's there. Also, a tempered glass screen protector.

This is a CaseMe Nexus 5X leather folio case. I got it for $10 on eBay. Thought I was going to get something lower quality for $10 but this case is actually solidly built, well stitched, and has a good feel to it.
