Is it not advisable to install (or at least try to/force with 3rd party apps like AppMgr III) apps on SD card? I've read on cyanogenmod forums that Google doesn't support SD card manufacturers thus this feature has been removed from the latest android versions. I have a 32 gb class 10 microSD and I would rather use this one for most of my apps, since the (usable) internal memory of S III mini is only 4.65 GB. What do you guys think?

Use this app. I use it for a long time & works flawless. It even work with kk 4.4. Enjoy.
Hi, i use folder mount too and i have a problem whith moving rr3, always gives me an error and stops the operation. I only have this issue whith rr3 and using cm 11, when i had cm 10.2 i didn't. Can somebody help me? Thanks

Work fine for me with cm11 even with gta sa. Try this trick (works for me): move the content to the external sd card with any root explorer, then pin in FM (foldermount).

Ok. Move you folder game (Example: gta sa- For me is external sd card-android-obb-com.rockstargames.gtasa) for your ext sd card. Then on your internal sd card, create a blank folder named com.rockstargames.gtasa on android-obb. Then go to foldermount & follow the steps that you usually did to create a pair. But the game won't move cause you already did it manually, get it!?!. Then you just need to pin it as you do normally & play the game. I hope you understand this trick. after installing a custom rom like cm7 from settings i select the external memory to install apps and they realy were installed on memory but the phone memory usage space increased a little but with installing alot of apps it will be full
and if i installed an app on internal memory and i wanted to move to sd it is actually moves but the internal free memory increased a little although it should be increased alot so can realy any one help me ????? i think the solution is in this site but i couldn't found it

Partition ur sd card wont harm ur sd card, just partition it n install s2e, just do it on ur pc, its more safe I guess

Copy evrything u needed to PC then make partition ..I think its the best solution to free up memory..There's nothing to lose give it a try.

did u try titanium & rom manager lite for converting/moving apps to SD. sorry if u already did. using s2e,link.... is pain for. newbie like me especially when i change roms frequently.

Fend i said rom manager lite. Not rom manager. Anyway frankly you r right about rom manager. It is not meant for our mini. Its by ' koushik'. & i recommended rom lite by jrummy. No offence here.

Currently Im using Tiramislim V2.0 and it's really a great rom, but lately I kept suffering from insufficient storage to install apps, I've used the script in Aroma installer and yet still having the same notification mentioning insufficient storage .
So I had bought a Class 4 16GB Kingston Micro SD for my phone. So can anyone teach me and guide me on how to make space for apps using the SD card? thank you in advance :good:.

Hi uguro. If you want to transfer "GAMES" data I recommend you to download GL2SD (gameloft-to-sd). It's compatible with almost all games (even if they are not from gameloft company) and it will move your data to SD without any problem and saving a lot of space on your phone. On the other hand, if you wanna move apk to sd, you can try Link2SD. You need to make a 1GB "primary" partition on your SD card in ext2 format (I'm using "Mini Tool Partition Wizard Home Edition" on windows to do that) and let Link2SD to mount it after rebooting your device.

Hey uguro you can move all your apps to sd card if your phone is rooted.
Download titanium backup and titanium backup pro(key license) both of them requires root permision.
N u can dwnld key license from blackmart alpha.

So the sp does not support moving apps to the sd card. As a result of this, having the phone for a week I keep getting warnings to say the memory is over 75% full. Is there a way around this yet? I really like the standard Rom and hope I don't have to wait for custom roms.

for this u should have root access (on a custom rom)
it will allow u to mount external memory to internal

Well it all Google fault to limit the movement to sdcard. But there's always few apps that natively supported moving data to sdcard.
For now, without root I have to use clean master to delete junk file on my XSP every few day

Download Link2SD, moves all your apps and app data to your sd card and any future data will aswell, however you'll have to manually link every app.

You need root to use these apps.
When using link 2sd you have to create a secondary partition on PC make it primary and use fat32 this is supported by stock.
You can link all apps to extsd
I use foldermount pro to move game data to extsd. As a result of using both these apps I have over 4gig free on internal.

Do you mean install apk files from sd card? There shouldn't be problem with that after enabling unknown sources. (at least with most apps)

CM11 currently have problems with video playback (for example, youtube).
Video playback is fixed on [4.4]AOSP KitKat.
