I'm moving from HD7 to 8S and I'm just curious if there is any way to move contacts pictures as they are not stored on my live accaount?

If you choose custom foto from pictures, these will be saved in yout live acc. If you have foto from another service(like Facebook), you only need to reconect services on your's 8S and thats all

Very simple question this one folks.
Again, if it's been asked before then i apologise but i couldn't find a thing in the manual or on here about it
This is another one that is winding me up something rotten (see also http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1783707&posted=1#post1783707)
Example... on a Nokia, you can choose the view you wish to have in your contacts list by going into options etc etc and selecting either... SIM ONLY, SIM AND PHONE MEMORY or just PHONE MEMORY.
Obviously the PHONE MEMORY on a WM5 or 6 would be OUTLOOK so... how do you display OUTLOOK ONLY, no SIM involved???
Am i making sense here?! lol

and download advanceconfig v1.1 and install on your kasier then theres an option to show or not show sim contacts.....if you dont want to install this then do a search for remove sim contacts cab which is all over this great site.

I have searched many threads but could not find an answer. I want to know how to point the htc album to wherever my pictures are. In previous roms, htc album would just autodetect where my pics were but since flashing duttys dualtouch v4 i cant seem to get htc album to point to my pics. It only displays pics in the default picture folder which is located at device\my documents\my pictures. Any help would be appreciated.

The latest version of HTC Albulm allows you to select the folder to view.

Is there one that does what he wants but without the folder option everytime you open it up? its annoying to have to go through the whole tree every time you want to look at a picture (plus for me i cant read anything in the folder dialog everything shows up as square things [] )
It would be great if my contact photos looked as nice as the demo of Grace Fuller and her friends, but mine seem rather grainy. Anyone have an idea what reso those Diamond sample contact photos were taken at?
I posted the same probleme and got answers.
You have to go to the album, select a picture and add it to your contat threw the album menu and tada, photo contacts look sharp.

On the photos and videos part of the TF3D it only seems to pick up files from inside the my pictures folder. It does not even pick up folders which are in the my pictures folder. Can anyone help me with this problem as I have a lot of photos which I'd like to keep in their folders. I have tried changing the option in advanced config but it did not seem to have any effect

Hey dude:
You can switch the album and set it as favorite
So select what ever folder you want to read through TF3d.
Just play around with the Jewel and it will do anything!!!

do you have the remedy for the camera?
i have tried editing the registry to make the camera saved the taken photos to \internal storage\my pictures, but it does not work.
do you have a work around or the settings to make this work?

First I have to say this Search
And last:
Use Schaps advanced config and you will find a section LOCATIONS.
Change default camera file to internalstorage/whateverfile.

I got the same problem... And sometimes the photos are not showing in order at all
order is not my problem... all ordered by date and that's what i want it!
i set the album favorite to ALL and now all the photos & videos are there
but i can't Change File location even with advanced config
right now my x1 saves pictures under storage card/ dcim / 100xperia
i want to change this folder to another one, how?
and in most of the panels when i touch the bottom part of the screen it goes back to the panel manager, any help? i'm using x2 panel manager but i don't think i used the right steps to install can this be the problem??

hi
for SE camera should be
\HKLM\Software\SonyEricsson\Camera\PROPERTY_EXTERNAL_CAMERA_DIRECTORY
for HTC camera it's a guess, probably under
\HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\Image\SaveFolder_0409 or one of the P[x]\SaveFolder
play with these and see if it helps

There's an option for changing the save directory in Advance Config. You can try that. It doesn't say if it's for the SE or HTC camera, though, but I'm guessing it's for the SE.
